If the clash blaster was seriously the most op weapon then let me say I would have a very deep hatred for anyone who uses it, mainly because it's no-skill. Thankfully the luna blaster easily counters the clash blaster despite being nerfed a lot since Splatoon 1.

Splashdown isn't the only panic button. These specials are also panic buttons:
•Baller
•Ink Armour
•Booyah Bomb
@@catguy4996 I'd say, out of those 3, Booyah Bomb is definitely the most common panic button used. For me, I'm usually killed before the baller can come out, and ink armor barely protects me for some reason..
I accidentally panic and use inkjet... doesn’t help.

you got my hopes up when you lingered on the inkbrush. I played a match with you a week or so ago and recognised you in game, so I hyper performed, and was luckily on my main (inkbrush).

Certain weapons might be more advantageous in certains modes or for certains purpose, but if you're dedicated enough any weapon can do anything regardless--- And that's really cool.

I like the squeezer, especially on Rainmaker, ESPECIALLY especially on maps with choke points. Rainmaker shows up, Splash Wall, pick 'em off

The Goo Tuber May very well be the hardest to learn to play competitively. I’ve only seen a handful of people good with it. I’ve also seen people in X Rank get up to 2500 power with it.

My favorite weapon has to be the emperry splat dualies. The balance of this weapon allows you to fill pretty much any role on the battlefield, whether it be rushing into enemy territory with the curling bomb, splatting rangers with the inkjet, or just zipping around the stage and splatting enemies with the dodge roll.

There is no best weapon in Splatoon. Only all-around good weapons, situationally good weapons, and then meh weapons. Any weapon can be decent if you play it well, but not all can be competitive. Also obviously some are much easier to pick up, but that doesn't always make them "better."

Imo I feel like any of the octbrush series is the best weapon you can go a bit faster with it, it covers a lot of ground, it’s great at splatting, and most of the specials and side abilities are pretty good
Ballpoint splatling has almost no flaws. It can do close and long range, has great damage, great fire rate. It has to be great, if not the best
I can agree the Goo Tuber is the best weapon. It's tap shots just got buffed, and it killed at a 71% charge, and if you stack main up it kills even sooner. I love the Goo Tuber. I also really like the Squeezer, but only the Foil Squeezer for Clam Blitz. It's just a better Forge Pro if you can aim. The normal one is just kinda for Tower Control. Throwing walls on the tower for protection as well as String Ray because Sting Ray.
put 3 pures of main power up and you can kill at a 45% charge
I honestly feel like the bamboozler with 99.9 dmg pretty much makes the goo tuber and squiffer obsolete. Fast charge plus most of your shots 1 hit kills if the enemy even slightly touches your team's ink.

Other: e-liter scope or kensa charger scope would be higher up but it depends on the map

BTW guys I just bought a switch, 'cause I'm a huge Smash fan, but I also recently thought of getting Splatoon 2. I've been doing research, and I'm not to sure if these comments still relate today. But
is the online dead, like am I able to find a game easily or does it takes minutes to find a game online.
At max it takes me 40 seconds to find a game. The online is thriving!

honestly if u can master the snipers they can be D E A D L Y. But i think that enperry, kensa, and dark tetra dualies are at the front. Also i like the neo splash-o-matic cuz u can chuck a burst bomb then splat the opponents
haha epic pro tip: use carbon roller deco for tower control, it has suction bombs for when you need the tower quick, and autobomb launcher for when you think there’s people hiding in the ink and don’t want to take chances. the carbon roller deco itself isnt the worst but the specials and subs are what makes it good for tower control

imo I LOVE using my Kensa Dualies. Has a fantastic Sub Weapon (Sticky Bomb) and a Great Special (The Baller)

I think the 92 gal deco is the best because its only a 2 shot kill and it has such good range. Or the Kensa 52 gal because of the booyah bomb!
