Honestly I’m always just glad and overwhelmed with happiness when I just see my African American brothers and sisters when they just take a step outside the U.S.A.
Let's stand together and reject the divisive nature of tribal politics. Our strength lies in unity, not in the differences that separate us. By working together with a shared vision, we can transform our nation and build a brighter future for all. Let's commit to change and make our country great again!
Three African American sisters visited us this week. Sad that we didn't have enough time to explore. We flew to the Coast yesterday morning and back to Nairobi in the evening. We visited Shimoni Caves and they had an experience of what slavery at the Swahili Coast was all about. I also used to read about it in school and had the chance of seeing a picture of the suffering. They barely scratched the surface. We almost missed our flight as they never wanted to leave the beach riding camels and enjoying kids dancing. 😅😅Seems we underestimate the power of living where you're a "majority". Welcome and enjoy your stay. I hope Kenya treats you well.
I love this!! Glad you spoke about the 5 year ETA. I’m going to do more research on that as I’m considering Kenya, leaving from the US and I can’t wait!
