If you needed space, why not go for a walk, sleep in separate beds, or put matters on hold until you were ready to discuss what had happened? Kicking your wife out of her own house after she responded to years of provocations from MIL was such a major fumble.
I was gonna say that. Asking for space doesn’t mean kicking out the LITERAL VICTIM of the violence that he claims triggered him. Oh, he’s triggered? Then he can manage it like a grown adult without compromising the emotional and physical safety of his wife. What a pathetic excuse of a man.
Yea like his partner had just been fucking ASSAULTED and she honestly had more to fuckin process at that time than he did who wasn't even there for the whole thing. She needed his comfort and attention as she processed shit in that moment but he was selfish and made it all about himself instead of his partner who was attacked.
Good on her getting away from this thoroughly untrustworthy excuse of a husband. She deserves far better.
2nd story: No matter how much OP pleads and tries for reconciliation, it’ll never undo that sort of betrayal the ex and her baby went through. They were kicked out because the ex was defending herself due to BEING ASSAULTED FIRST. HE didn’t even hesitate and kicked her and their newborn baby out of their home. Ex will never be able to unlive that. Hope she’s living her best life

How does a normal personal take time to think things over? You go for a walk or you spend the night on the couch or in the guest bedroom. You do not kick out your spouse. That woman is doing right by herself with that divorce.

The part in the 2nd story that piss me of the most. Is that the husband keeps saying that he " can't handle violence," but it was only triggering to him was the wife punching the mother??
