Pink or cream would be good colors to imitate the ghost shrimp here in the southern California bays.
The D rib is probably better.
But I found spools of something called Beadalon Elasticity. Its round, clear, and a bit soft n stretchy.
Its used for kids beading projects.
1mm diameter and 5 meters on a spool. $2.99 at Hobby lobby. Might work well for patterns like this

Good idea on that material. And yes D-rib is better than mono. I just wanted to show people that sometimes it’s ok to sub out material you have on hand.

@@McFlyAngler Look up CA activator. I have never used it on flies, but I use it for woodworking. Instant bond.
