- The Hindu Right wing’s most articulate spokesperson, Subramanian Swamy, discuss his ideas about India, Hindus, Muslims, tolerance and what shaped him to become the man he is, with Shoma Chaudhury at Algebra The Arts and Ideas Club on 25 March 2017.
Contrary to popular belief, Subramanian Swamy believes that India can never become a theocratic state and that he doesn’t support the idea of Hindu supremacy. He also believes that the people who give him lectures on tolerance are the most intolerant people. On the issue of revenge and politics he says, “I only take revenge against those who misuse power against me”. He goes on to add that he will soon teach Mr. Chidambaram how to send people to jail.

It is the Christian who would be more attracted towards Hinduism and basic tenets of Christianity have the basis of dignity and love and truth (if not the ultimate truth) and helps them practically to live as more accommodating human beings. Anybody could see that she was getting her arguments on her cell phone, probably, from a team of experts in the backroom. Despite 1 Swamy against a team of arguers he crushed her on several issues. Every time she lost an argument she changed the topic by saying time is less. Then, passed a judgement without giving him a chance to respond and covered it with next question to look smart.
Throughout the discussion she kept interrupting and in the end even made a stupid comment and arrogantly said she won't give him last word...one of the worst hosting I have ever seen. 49:55, the anchor talks about king Ashoka, and says he massacred Hindus. That's an oversimplified statement. King Ashoka saw the dead bodies of soldiers on the battlefield and then started thinking about the horrors of war. He did not massacre civilians. An army-vs-army war is not counted as inhuman or barbaric. And that's the difference between Ashoka and the foreign invaders who attacked India. The invaders would indulge in atrocities against civilians and would commit arson - destroying temples, universities, libraries, and even entire cities. The invaders would selectively target Hindus. I have not heard of Ashoka targeting civilians or their properties just because they followed a particular religion.
So, don't downplay the barbarism of the invaders by saying "medieval violence is just medieval violence". That is the typical leftist-commie narrative about Indian history.

The largely uneducated and poor Muslim youth may have problem making ends meet, but they don't seem to have issues with rioting. That they do 'dadagiri' is a fact. And libtards and so called educated Muslims will have no say or rather not doing enough to confront the clerics who rule the religion. We Hindus OTOH haven't given control of our religion or religious dictats to anyone, not even RSS. So there is no question of genocide or mass exodus of Muslims in this country which is pretty relevant by their numbers. Please do mention your views on Kashmiri Pandits as well.
