After tinkering with for a week, my big negative is the yardages are 30ish% short of my actual yardages.
Yes, with RCT balls.
Outdoors into net, tarp, black fabric and borrowed impact screen.
No metals or bare concrete.
Laser level.
Daylight, twilight and dark with outdoor lights.
(shouldn't matter due to being radar based and not camera.)
I fly my 7 iron 170 all day but the R 10 says 100-120.
Not cool to look at the carry distance then add 30% to get a more realistic number.
I'll try it at the range next.
Any ideas would be welcomed.
Is that using the Garmin App or using a different range software? May be worth trying a different one and then maybe checking what elevation it is set at 👌🏼 hopefully it gets sorted as that does seem particularly out !

presumably it's even less accurate for the shot shape when hitting in to a net due to less ball flight to calculate on? I'd be interested to know whether it only uses the ~8ft of data, regardless of hitting into a net or not...
I would say so yes, believe me I can hit so horrendous shapes on my shots at times and it never happens on the garmin for some reason
I just bought the r10 and haven’t gotten to use it yet. What app are you using to get the metrics that you have inset on the screen?

The R10 is definitely great value for money, not perfect but you can always pay $1000's more for slightly better accuracy. Thanks for the upload.

what program are you using with the garmin R10, my garmin golf app looks different than this?
This is ‘Awesome Golf’ it’s a third party software that integrates with the Garmin R10…so much better than the Garmin app. Think it’s around 15 a month! Give it a go, well well worth it !
