Annoyingly no, I used to just offset where I aligned my R10 to my hitting direction and place a mark on the floor so I knew the angle

Really easy, I just bought a ‘usb c to HDMI’ adapter from Amazon and it is as simple as plug in and it works!

So it is done on a product key through E6,id imagine if you get that key you could. I haven't tried to transfer before to be honest! I will try to find out for you!

What did you find wrong with it? There's known inaccuracies if you don't have good distance from ball to unit or ball to net. Using RCT balls seems to give the best chance the unit can pick up the ball data correctly too.

It has its drawbacks for sure...for me, it was the lack of spin axis giving you a real false sense of security with your practice. Even with RCT balls it doesn't help the side spin axis

@@MattHartley-mx5pw i found it read about 6/10 shots. My son has a fast swing and it would only read about 4/10 for him. I had exact measurements and location for the device and still poor results.

Luckily i didn't seem to have that issue, there is some interference issues that can come up!

I think it is just a direct connection to the computer. Obviously the app can be updated remotely but the actual firmware itself is through Garmin Express

It does in the range, but when you are playing it just gives a quick snap shot of the stats

Depends on your screen size…mine is a 4:3 whereas the native resolution of an iPad is 16:9 so won’t always fit as snug as you’d like

You’re probably looking at something like a SkyTrak or flightscope Mevo plus…there is a jump in price but definitely more respected and accurate

Completely agree and mine is very very similar…and sadly I think the answer is no, in my opinion you may have to look at a slightly higher end launch monitor to get more accurate data…that’s my plan 👌🏼

Mine used to not pick up my slices. However after increasing the length from 6ft in front of the ball and 8ft behind the ball, I’ve found it picks up much better at 6ft behind the ball and (up to around 10ft) in front. The more the better in front I’ve found.

Quite possibly, as I said it’s not something I’ve directly experienced myself but from forums and other research people seem to experience issues with lighting…but yes maybe you’re right with the fluorescent lighting for sure !

Annoyingly, I feel like this is just the way the device is, always seems to read way short with longer clubs and faster swing speeds. You could try adjusting the altitude until it hits where you expect it to be with the longer clubs but then the shorter clubs may be off. It’s an annoying limitation of the device I would say

I dont think you can on awesome golf yet sadly, or if you can i havent found how to, they released an update so you can change weather settings when in the Garmin Range and HTH but not sure if it has come to awesome golf yet...

Yeah so for me I’ve tried GCquad, SkyTrak, MLM2Pro and the Garmin… Obviously the more you spend, generally the better in terms of accuracy and access to different software you get, but you need to be able to interpret the data well to really get the most out of it I would say 👌🏼

What do you mean ‘clear to satellites’ ? If you have an internet connection and Bluetooth to your device you should be fine to set up outside ! 👊🏼

@AlexWardGolf sorry I meant for garmin to produce the hole images on hometown hero for example. I know for my watch to display the courses I have to be in view of the satellites. If all I need is internet connection and wifi I'm golden

Absolutely agree, there is something nice about being able to have the convenience of having it in the back garden or garage! Each to their own for sure

I've heard a lot of people saying Awesome Golf is extremely accurate when used with the R10. Can you confirm whether your numbers using GS Pro are accurate?

@@davidt510 I think the carry yardages on the R10 with GS PRO are very accurate. The only thing the R10 struggles with is side spin, so the shot shape is less accurate than it would be with a camera based launch monitor.

I just wanted to give a good open and honest opinion on it! There’s plenty I love but also plenty that could be improved on but it’s still brilliant and I fully intent to keep using mine 💪🏼 get awesome golf too for your practice ! You won’t regret it

@@jonallsop7502 I use a cheap 3d template which allows you to add the dots for nothing. You get 3 Callaway balls with the dots on for free and they last forever

Is that using the Garmin App or using a different range software? May be worth trying a different one and then maybe checking what elevation it is set at 👌🏼 hopefully it gets sorted as that does seem particularly out !

Thanks man! I’ve used it for 18 months now as a budget set up and it’s been spot on, I do think there comes a time when you need to upgrade to really take your game to the next level but still for the price it’s perfect !

I would say so yes, believe me I can hit so horrendous shapes on my shots at times and it never happens on the garmin for some reason

I usually stick around 7 feet, I think it is tinkering to see what works in your own space :)

Sounds good! I saw a good comparison videos between the two which had them very close…I think the only difference was the Kirkland ball wore out quicker…I’d probably have lost it by then anyway!

Personally I find them ok in the lower ranges (anything up to 200 yards) above that I question it! However I think that is the Garmin R10 rather than the E6 software
