I think once you learn that skating isn't about becoming the best skater ever, its about enjoying it, progressing at your own pace, going outside and doing something healthy and positive. I'm starting to love skating more and more just chilling doing my own thing, not worrying about how good others are at the skate park, just focusing on myself.

having no friends to skate with is relatable. i used to, but i guess we just went our seperate ways. still, it shouldn't be something to get me, or you, or anyone down. we're here to enjoy the beautiful weather, the nice scenery, the smooth pavement, and the joy of skateboarding. skating is one of the most difficult things i've put my mind towards lately, not because of the fear of landing tricks, or even just getting outside, but the judgment of others, and thinking "i'm not good enough". i know it's not my fault for being hurt, but it does become my fault for continuing to carry it, and letting it poison the things i most enjoy about life. things will always inevitably look up, as long as you put in the effort; water a plant in good dirt and full sunshine, and it grows, though things will never look up if i don't try. thanks for documenting your journey throughout skateboarding, Yung Wavy, and keep skating

IMHO skateboarding and progression is entirely dependent on your own personality. On the one hand, I love pushing (no pun intended) myself and I want to get better but, at the same time, putting on cruiser wheels, taking it easy and having *fun* is the best feeling.

a good tip for getting more air out of banks is to get as much speed as possible, the more speed you have the momentum you have to send you up and out of the ramp/bank

I think anyone who overcomes the limits of a normal person deserves praise. Getting that ollie is the first step in my opinion of what goes over the normal and average understand of skating. I treat skating as a toy and not a skill. If I wanna do something or have any ideas I just try and do that. If it seems impossible, I'll move on. Skill wise I'm just practicing ollies.

Small tip for your airs, pump as hard as you can at the top of the ramp and act as if you do an Ollie. Btw your skating is amazing keep on going
