- This is a Warhammer 40k diorama, inspired by the trailer for the 10th edition of Warhammer 40k and the release of the Leviathan boxset. What is not to love about Terminators ?
This Warhammer 40k diorama features a Terminator (Space Marines) roastings Termagants (Tyranids) with a heavy flamer, in the jungle at night, with an LED stripe to make the flame, and a resin pour to make the pond to the right of the diorama, topped with water effects.
Space Marines and Tyranids must be the most iconic races in Warhammer 40k, specially because of Space Hulk and the legendary Terminators. What a joy to see Tyranids facing Space Marines again in the new Leviathan boxset. The trailer for the 10th edition of Warhammer 40k was epic, and this diorama hopefully makes it justice.
Tyranids may well be my favorite race, they are the perfect aliens you don't want to meet in space. Tyranid Termagants don't really scare Space Marine Terminators though, and our Terminator here is having a literal blast roasting these poor Tyranids.
But, could there be any other threat hiding in the dark of the deep jungle ?
This is my latest Warhammer 40k diorama video ! This display features a Space Marine Terminator burning Tyranid Termagants with a heavy flamer in the jungle at night, with an LED stripe to make the flame, and a resin pour to make the pond to the right of the diorama, topped with water effects. This epic battle scene captures the intense conflict between the Space Marines and the Tyranids, like in the trailer for the Leviathan boxset that marked the beginning of the 10th edition of Warhammer 40k.
You can reproduce this jungle environment for your DIY Warhammer 40k terrain and scenery. The dense jungle environment completes with LED stripe lighting to create and bright flame effect in a night-time atmosphere. I hope you'll enjoy this Warhammer 40k diorama, please let me know in the comments.
If you're looking to create your own DIY Warhammer 40k terrain and scenery, watch this video. I'll show you how to make cheap terrain using simple materials, with an LED stripe to make the flame, and a resin pour to make the pond to the right of the diorama, topped with water effects.

Whether you're a Warhammer 40k enthusiast or simply appreciate miniature displays, sit back, relax, and immerse yourself in the epic world of Warhammer 40k with this intense diorama featuring a Space Marine Terminator burning Tyranid Termagants with a heavy flamer in the jungle at night.

Love it! You don't see nearly enough 40k dioramas as you'd expect, and this one is a definite testament to how cool they are.
thank you!
Probably due to the price point😢
Huh, I never thought about how few colors you'd need for a realistic finish on a diorama
Nor have I ever thought of how you could paint a scene to have it look like nighttime
I will do more work on that, I find it fascinating
@@chroniclesoftinybattles yeah I honestly love the look of it I never thought how simple it could be to make a diorama set at night
"Game over man! Game over!" Bill Paxton kinda feel to me. Amazing stuff.
Great work! What I would recommend is giving them a slight color (depending on the chapter or type of nids you want) on the gray coat to give the field a bit more variation. But the lighting on that with the slight spray of orange and those highlights were chefs kiss. ❤ Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next video!
thank you very much, we'll surely get a chance to see more painting !
Showing my nephew who is just getting into this hobby - amazing work
sweet !
Totally underrated great diorama
thank you very much
@@chroniclesoftinybattles no problem
Wow this is beautiful, the shape of the flame makes it look in action as it engulfs that Tyranid.
I love that you perceived it, thank you for your feedback !
Beautifully done, looks awesome
Thanks !
I love the “chicken leg” swoop of the flame. Really nice piece 👍🏻👍🏻
Very nice work, the fire effect looks awesome.
Beautifully done! Would love to see a enemy warband being hit by a pair of snipers ooo
there's a plan to do something along these lines ;)
This is fantastic. End result is obviously cool, but I'm just blown away by the production. Awesome video - you're great 💪
thank you very much
Got that like as soon as Sax Marine made an appearance! Awesome Job!
Thank you !
That… was… brilliant!!!
There will be more !
I'm late on the delivery because of holidays prep and Christmas, but it's going to come out !
Action packed diorama with wicked cool lighting effect. Top notch my friend.
Bill
thank you very much
Awesome! Thank you for sharing.
Nice. I did similar last year. Tyranids emerging out of a forest onto a space marine garrison. But not as awesome as yours.
Thanks! Practice makes perfect, I’m still learning myself :p
that is fantastic well done keep up the great work.
REally, really cool man! Love it
I am Dance , dance so hard for the Emperor !

👍AWESOME WORK
Bravo mate
Outstanding!!!,keep them coming!!!
I'm working on it, thank you for your support !
Awesome......maybe you shouldve hit one of the tyranids with the lighter for a little bit to make him look melty.....😮
I like to consider that the terminator pulled the triggered and within a millisecond the air turned to fire, and the diorama is set right at that moment, before it really had time to affect the nids. But there are countless possibilities for cool dioramas for sure !
i was sceptic regrding the cotton, but the result when lit is absolutelly gorgeous!! 🤩
I was sceptic with the whole thing ! Hah
@@chroniclesoftinybattles 😂Good job you persisted anyway! And thanks for sharing👍
really well done, but could really use just 5-10% more vibrancy on the non gray tones, feels a touch to muted for a nice diorama
those nids should be very brightly colored especially as they are directly in the fire
Bad news is there's 56x10(6652) behind them
i would've loved a little more colors and paintbrush work involved, but it is indeed epic craftmanship ! Incredible that with such quality of prodution you do not have more than 100 000 subscribers !!
thank you for your kind words, we'll keep up the good work
Great content, really enjoy your vids
thank you
My daughter loves videos like this. Subscribed. Nice work!
Thank you very much, there will be more !
Hi and congratulations, a work great in effect and simple in execution. Can You tell what type of undercoat You to the minis? Its really nice and opaque.
Thank you ! I use Black Grey (70.862) Model Color from Vallejo
from which kit did you get the heavy flamer from for the terminator?
3D print!
Ultra cool😊😊😊
looks great
thank you!
Anybody else think the intro music sounds a lot like GTA Vice City theme?
Wow ok, I was thinking « yeah there’s something to it but... » until the sax kicked in, hah !
Wowee! ❤
epic
🔥!
hehe
top
I don't like the fire effect tbh. I think it would have been a lot cooler with just OSL. I know that is a lot more work, but I'm sure it would have been worth it.
Subscribe anyway 😂
Why did you stop talking over your videos?
I was unhappy with my voice over. I thought it made it less immersive while not bringing much to the video. What do you think ?
