one of my favorite mods adds the ability to use a ward when both hands are using other objects, i can't remember that mods name, but i requested a modder create it a long time ago, i wanted it to function when holding a bow, as you have no real defense while holding a bow in combat, you could be shooting at a dragon while a dragon destroys you because your hands are occupied and stuck. it was a very simple mod, but i found out that the same thing could be achieved with using a few different mods, one would be Ordinator as in the perks it gives you the ability to use your first ward at no cost, and the other mod is called, smart cast, and this mod allows you to set any spell to go off automatically without needing to equipping it, you can choose to set the spell to go off during certain circumstances so that it's not always on all the time, and you will still get skills when you use it, and the other one to add to this list is wards functionalities which allows your ward spells to function like a real shield, but it's also based on your skill and the ward spell you are using, so your skill will go up while using all of these within conjunction of one another.

Thank you so much for showcasing my mod, One-Handed Crossbow Framework. :D My co-author and I are currently working on integrating several variants based on the Creation Club crossbows. In addition, I'm adding pre-enchanted versions of these crossbows. So while, you cannot enchant them directly, you'll be able to get/craft pre-enchanted ones.
Recently lost my job and my wife due to a crippling Skyrim addiction. Only thing that keeps me going at this point are Mern uploads. Thanks for giving me something to live for! Y’all don’t forget to like and subscribe.
I've been using soaking wet for a while now - it's absolutely superb and it also has a couple of neat little things that are worth mentioning. Firstly, you retain "wetness" when you change cell, so you're still wet for a few seconds when you go into a tavern. It's a super cozy feeling to get inside from a storm and watch yourself literally dry by the fire. Secondly, it applies to all actors. Animals and NPCs also get the wet effect applied, and they ALSO retain the wetness when they change cell. So while you're in your cozy tavern, if it's raining outside and an NPC enters, THEY will be wet too!
The Ship mod fully turning into the Assassin's Creed Black Flag gameplay would totally make Skyrim the greatest game I've ever played. I'm wishing the Modder success, would love to travel around the world with shanties. Added with Beyond Skyrim, that would be even more insane but that's for the long future.
I love Dragonkiller Cart, and It it works with all the other horse mods, like equestrian and immersive horses. Also you can change the max horse speed so the horse only moves at a trot speed (for those who are use K&M)
Simplest way I found to balance out Restoration is no spell casting until there is a perk in the school and training from a teacher. At lest then the healing spells don't show until the character is a bit OP anyway.
accidentally stumbled upon this channel and watch it for some time now without commenting anything but i think there is never a good or bad time to give feedback so take this: your editing skills got better and better and the latest videos this one included you really nail it and do one of the best edited skyrim showcases out there which are especially really funny (at least they hit my personal humour taste really hard) I don’t know how much of time and knowledge it needs to create just one of those gems but maybe it’s for the better to not know it. I've recently discovered Ryn2G's mods and I'm enthusiastic about his work. Modular, .esl-flagged overhauls of locations? This modder may actually overhaul all of the minor locations in Skyrim this way; I wish there was someone doing the same for the quests and for the dungeons. The boat mod looks by far the most advanced I've ever seen, though it's still a far cry from something like The Witcher 3 or Valheim. I imagine it'd be quite good to make the rivers of Skyrim navigable in order to, well, make the game more fun? And realistic, I guess. Dragonkiller Cart also looks very cool.
@@RynMods Yes. :) Ryn, do you plan at any point to incorporate the use of Everglaid's framework when creating a dungeon, or would you rather have the design be dependent on vanilla entirely?
@@solovyeva-altarce1894 It's a heavy consideration I've had. On one hand, I like to idea of keeping my mod without compatibilities like that. But on the other hand, it's so cool... so I guess we will see.

Fantastic job, brother. The filming and editing alone are great, but you keep it fun and have me laughing while still being extremely thorough and informative. You do the mod authors justice and showcase their amazing work beautifully. Sincerely, looking forward to more and best of luck at Uni and all you do, my friend!
9:00 incremental injuries; losing health, magicka, or stamina will decrease your maximum attributes, so restoration can't quite heal you to full health and your magicka will take a hit if you abuse it. Also the changes are shown using Survival Control Panel's bars, so you'll actually see how much you've already lost. You can tweak how fast your stats drop and how far they are able to drop in the INI; I recommend making magicka drop faster as you use a lot less of it typically than stamina or health even as a wizard. Leave health's lowest stat at 50% of the maximum, but magicka and stamina can reach 0% if you set it to. The mod also makes it so you have to sleep to level up, though you can still assign all your pending levels at once. I like this more than sleep mods personally, cause it means you only really need to if you're actually fighting, it won't interrupt your crafting grind. I recommend pairing it with an automatic attribute increase mod though cause it does make it tough to see what your base stats are when you level up.
Just wanna say watching your videos recently has made me love Skyrim again. I have only played this game vanilla on the 360/ps4 and thought I was done with this game. But I got a pc awhile ago , have been using your mods/tips and I am having the most fun I have ever had.
I can strongly recommend the Dragonkiller Cart mod. With over 3000 hours in Skyrim, my playthrough as a wandering scholar traveling with his cart was by far the most fun I've ever had. The recipe books for the crafting stations are scattered all over Skyrim's holds and some of them come at a hefty price, so when you've mods like Scarcity enabled it feels extremely rewarding when you've finally added a brand new anvil and furnace to your travelling equipment after countless days of work, granting you even more freedom from the depressing city life. The cart is also very stable, doesn't get stuck very often (it happened to me just once and thanks to the powers that come with the mod it's very easy to fix), and very easy to steer. There isn't really much to worry about when using this mod, it just works. It completely changes the way you play the game, since you won't travel from Rifton to Solitude for a single quest anymore. You need to plan traveling routes and what you want to do on the way ahead of time, some quests that are usually a matter of seconds take weeks to complete and therefore each trip really feels like you've accomplished something huge, even if you just spent five days to hand someone across the nation a letter. The only rather annoying thing that you might encounter early on when using this mod is that normal horses tend to die quiet easily, leaving you stranded with your cart in the middle of nowhere. You can of course just travel on by foot and teleport your cart to you once you've reached a horse trader, but if you don't want to break the immersion it can be quiet frustrating to get a yet another new horse after your previous 50 horses have died due to fall damage or got oneshot by a fucking grizzly on your way to Rifton (yes, that happens pretty much all the time you enter those damn woods there) and ride it back to where you cart is. But that problem solves itself completely once you've access to Shadowmere or Arvak (or a proper mod).
general difficulty combo I use are Incremental Injuries and Incremental Gains, basically nerfs the player overall, with the potential for slow but steady growth as well. works great to slow down your gameplay. both of these mods are criminally underrated for how immersive they are
Restoration magic is the sole reason I don't die in every encounter. I couldn't afford balancing it. I have no clue why, but my modlist resulted in an impossible game where even a normal Draugr on adept can be deadly.
I love how the potion consumption is being handled in enderal. So cool with the lore aspect that you get arcane fiever because they are made with magic.

Seeing how the boat can "dodge", I guess the author or Wanderer's Heart took a page out of Bethesda's playbook where the "vehicle" is just an armor that obscure the player's character model. Similar to FO3's train. Very creative. Certainly better than the method where the ship is treated as a horse
Regarding balancing Restoration, I suggest trying the mod Simply Balanced, as you can tweak any aspect of the game including strength/duration/scaling/cost of Restoration. I use it to make the Time per kill in my game longer by reducing both damage taken and damage done by everyone and reducing healing. A pretty good balance mod overall.
