- Sorry for the crude nature of the video, no time to edit, just threw a bunch of clips together. This is everything we could capture before they evacuated New Orleans Square.

I love the cheesy ambience music playing in the background while it burns 🤣
when i worked at disneyland the dragon was nicknamed murphy in reference to murphys law, anything that can go wrong, will go wrong, how ever this is the most extreme example of that.
My takeaways…
1. The juxtaposition of the area music going while the dragon burns.
2. Cast Member: “Please continue walking. You can look at the dragon while you’re walking.” That made me laugh. lol.
Also. The lady asking if Haunted Mansion was closed made me chuckle while it’s burning away. Yeah like no shit it’s closed - they have a raging fire going nearby 🤦🏼♂️

Yeah, some people were having some pretty casual conversations like that was part of the show. Some dudes asking for wait times on Astro-Blasters also…. Not sure if the audio picked it up.
It’s like when Rose’s mother tells Trudy to go to their room and put on tea while Titanic is sinking. 😵💫

Takeaways:
The unintended comedy of the area music, with bonus points for the songs playing also being used in Legoland
The fact the dragon is truly living up to its name in spectacular fashion
Also looks like “the magic” is actively vengeful at this point, maybe don’t take our passes away then give us a garbage replacement next time
The cast member putting water at the bottom of the dragon should focus on structure protection and not worry about putting it out. That hose isn't going to do anything for a fuel fire
I see that "Burning Man" has moved to a new location onto Tom Sawyer Island.
You gotta admit, that's just about the most metal thing you'll ever see at Disneyland.
I'm trying to figure out what was the source of the high-pressure flame bursts we see in several videos. It's possible that hydraulic fluid was leaking, or that they use propane to produce the fire-breathing effect. I'm not sure.
Kind of poetic in a way with the way everything has been going for them. Glad no one was hurt

Yeah it was even probably maintenance that caused this
@@ascallednobody The big question is.. Did maintenance CHECK the dragon for that Leak bethe show?? They've ran this show for months, years and till now this? Yeah somethings fishy... And it points to Maintenance.
It feels like history is repeating itself 😮😮
@@wizardofoz93 The first time Maleficent burst into flames was in Florida during a parade 5 years ago but that was only her head. But now the entire thing is completely damaged. So upsetting 💔💔
interesting that they projected the fantasmic logo on the water at the end at 6:50 almost makes me think the show is over forever
I wonder if they turned on the water projections in an attempt to either hide or distract the crowd from the burning dragon, or if that was the automated ending of the show.
@@LittlescienceguyI know it's not normal even at the end of the show. Normally the lights turn back on and the fountains turn off. Definitely an attempt to hide what was happening. I'm saying the fact that the logo was there at all if the wanted people to leave - like just put a blank water curtain up
@@coasters_bgw Okay. And yeah, you’re right. A blank water curtain would have been more effective at getting people to leave faster.
I'm pretty sure it's not over forever. It's such an iconic show, and I'm pretty sure it isn't going anywhere. They probably would have to put it on hiatus for a while so they can fix the dragon and the stage. Or maybe they would make a new dragon. Who knows?
It's not over it was just the dragon that malfunction its to hide the dragon they do this when there's a malfunction in fantasmic in the main stage
The park needs to start taking better care of its attractions! Space Mountain is making loud track noise. The park doesn’t need another tragedy! They’re raising prices and yet the maintenance seems to be going downhill.
I sure hope Disney's Fantasmic will soon return to normal.

They turned on the water screen to protect guests in case the fire went out towards people instead of straight up smart thinking.
I the dragon isnt new. It was used since 2010 so of course it had its days

They need a WAY better fire system there! That thing was allowed to rage on and on, getting bigger and sending toxic black smoke and burning embers everywhere… and the banjo keeps playing, really????? They are sitting on a lake and yet can’t put out this monster fire which could KILL someone. Super disgusted by Disneyland’s response.
Maybe no more fire at disney? I don't mean that in a sarcastic way but I'm sure there are some effects with water and light they could use for safety purposes at this point,but just from the few videos I saw it did look like fluid was leaking from its mouth. Maan,that's scary. 😔
They did say in a release today they’d be pausing all pyrotechnic effects for awhile. Probably a smart move. Safety first.

The 2 guys trying to put out the fire are not very bright as the fire is beyond the water hose or extinguisher there trying to use.
