Enjoyed the video. My family used to camp there in the '70s. Some information for you.
Yes, Nebraska had saber-toothed tigers a very long time ago.
Those cliffs along the river contain cretaceous rock layers filled with sea shells and other fossils.
Those concrete footings were for the Nebraska end of a giant pipe line that was suspended across the Missouri river. It was removed around 15 years ago.
The name Ponca is recognized as sacred people who have strong beliefs that are related to our lands and sacred ceremonies. The Ponca Tribe extends from Nebraska to Oklahoma! Our mother Earth is the source of life ! Amazing ! Wonderful !!!
I really appreciate the slower pace of your excursions with a bent towards exploring more than running blindly through nature. Today it seems some of the you tubers would do just as well on a treadmill from daylight until dark and them just go out and sleep in their backyards. They never see anything anyway. Thanks for the less frantic pace.

I raced cross country mountain bikes at Ponca State Park!!! Some of the smoothest single track in the country.
I lived in that area for 11 years. One of my all-time favorite parks!!!

Just sat down for the first time today ...thought I would check your channel and was so glad to see your new video... I love your truck camping videos the best although I like to watch you fish as well. I really like the look of those campsites! They seem private and wooded and very well kept! I think it's awesome that you take us along When you check something out, because it feels like we really are taking a hike.. Or whatever it is you're doing. And I also like that you don't edit out when something doesn't go just right. You can make me laugh in just about every video and I appreciate that. Can't wait for the next adventure.

This was a cool video. I found the tree interesting...lol. Anything that old "saw" a lot of things. Think of all the things that happened in history since that was planted. It is something how he feels a need to lock his truck when he's hiking. It seems like he's the only one in that park, but it's hard to trust anything or anyone anymore. Quite educational.

Our campgrounds are packed around here, seems strange theirs no one around.
I was on the lake last night and their was two different tournaments going on plus all our restaurant's and bar's on the water are full. So glad everything has opened back up 💯
Mon-wed are usually pretty chill at most spots around here, the weekends are always packed though
I noticed you left your keys in your ignition when checking out the oak tree trail, not a good idea. I’m enjoying your videos and would love to take some trips in my Silverado 2500hd if I could find a camper top. I’m only concerned about having bad knees and looks like you crawl around a lot. I can’t crawl at all.

Lol! It was fine! I guess when you want them to gobble back I had told you to whisle,but the whistle sound you make has to be like if you are whistling at a wonan,preferably your wife. That's the kind of whistle. Hope it works for you or I'm bad! Lol!😁

The length of this one caught me off guard but I did really enjoy it. I got really intrigued about the "pillars" and had to google it. It was very interesting (Towers of Time - each one representing different historical eras). I couldn't really find any images of must of a water feature up by the towers just the water falling down to the pond area you showed. Very cool park though!
Yeah I was surprised the only thing the plaque had were some quotes from game and parks and artists, nothing really about what it was actually about

The new big cooler is for longer trips, it was my old larger blue cooler that was falling apart. This little igloo works fine for overnights but I'm thinking of upgrading it also

I just bought go pro 09 got it yesterday that I had to figure out how to work it that was a huge park when you first got there the birds are chirping like crazy that is cool and all the different parts of the park different places you can go I wish they had parks like that here in Ontario Canada all your videos are excellent I really enjoyed them specially the ones when you go fishing do you hunt at all anyways have a safe week see you on the next one 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🛻🛻🛻🛻❤️

The trail you did on the morning of day-two looks like a great MTB trail. Not sure if you have a bike but it’s a great way to burn through some time and calories around those great trails.
I talked about getting a bike on two separate occasions and cut it from the video, it's in the plans
