Ok here we have Larry Dobson solo from the Barkays and the Barkays are now under the leadership of James Alexander being that he's the only original member of the 2023 Barkays if I'm correct. So both have hired new band members BUT here's the difference..The Barkays new lead singer is no Larry Dobson not even close now on the other hand you have Larry touring with his new band members playing and singing all of the Barkays Hits..that iconic voice is still there with Larry and believe me if The Larry Dobson Show ever come to the Augusta Ga area I will have a front row seat. This the Voice of the Barking Barkays and no matter who/what band is behind him you will get that iconic Barkays sound. This is a 2023 video so tell me who would you wanna see out of the two..I'll wait.👍🏼💯😎
Outstanding performance Larry D; wrong audience. They’re too young and culturally distant from southern funk to appreciate and jam to it. Take that energy to the “hood” with an audience 45 & up and they’ll turn up.
