It's honestly not a good idea to show your house floorplan on the internet. It can be used by burglars or attackers to plan an attack.

Sometimes your mistake-fixing process is even more fun to watch than the planning & assembly. 😂 Love those pro-level tricks that always show up in your work, like using those angled blocks to hold things together while the glue dries. 👏

I work in a shop that specializes in using artificial stone (Corian, Hi-Macs, Staron, you name it). The way you'd mount the orange part of the sink that Alex 3d printed is much simpler than he anticipated. You'd either use the same glue you use for the stone or just regular old sanitary silicone, either way will work. No need for drilling holes, just apply two thin lines of glue or two moderate lines of silicone (obviously taking into consideration to not have too much or any overspill on the inside) and clamp them down. Personally, I recommend the silicone because it spreads out more evenly and arguably holds not only a better seal but is a stronger adhesive.

Oooo.... the heatgrid on the backside of the mirror is a nice touch. I need to remember that when I'm renovating our bathroom.
It's of course for keeping the mirror nice and clear after a hot an steamy shower :)

Hey, I love what you do and I very rarely comment but knowing you aim for perfection, I just wanted to let you know the custom furniture "industry standard solutions" for these types of sinks :
    1. you make a thermoformed piece that will have the standard round drain in the middle(at this size you could do it in your oven)
    2. you use straight pieces to make a slanted drain channel(it won't be much larger than your 3D printed one)
    3. you use long shower drains and you replace the stainless steel cover with a composite cover (you will have a rectangle slot but this solution allows for super easy maintenance and is easier to install)
Some fabricators make the back side removable for easy maintenance and most of them use a kitchen drain because is larger an if you remove it you can stick a bit your hand inside to clean the drain channel.
Also keep in mind that composites are not held together by metal screws because they expand and contract at different rates and this will cause cracks. In your case the cracks might show up pretty soon if you use very hot water followed by cold water. If you still can, try to remove the side screws, they are not needed anymore anyway. The screws of the drain shouldn't be a big problem.

Very cool. I suggest you put a sink strainer in the sink's pipe connector. One of those mesh things. Just in case you ever drop a ring down that sink, for example. Or so that hair doesn't accumulate further down the pipe.

This series has been pure joy to watch. I love all the little details and solutions that has been showed off during this. If I ever do a renovation I'll will use this as inspiration.
I also need to mention the cinematography in these videos has been on point!
A house tour would be lovely to see everything finished as a cohesive piece.
Wish I had two more hands so I could give four thumbs up.

The sink is absolutely amazing. I love it! I love that you included when things didn’t go the way you thought they would and you showed how you fixed it. I try to build or improve things, and it doesn’t always go as I thought it would. I have to do a lot of fixing and feel like such a failure. I don’t have anyone to teach me how to do these things, and so I have to just hope I remember correctly what to do. Because of this I tend to be very slow at finishing things, but I’ll try not to let that bother me in the future. You are very good at this and you have really great ideas. I look forward to watching your other videos of this remodel and your future videos.

A house tour would definitely be cool. So far this series has only really been on a "per room" basis as such. It would really help show the thoughts you've put into how things transition etc. :)
Oh btw... Living in a small apartment with a sink you can practically wash your hands in from the toilet. That thing with the mirror seems really useful! I'm definitely going to have to try it, the backing always goes away from condensation. :(

Amazing video! Love your work, such a pleasure to watch you come up with all these solutions and the desings are absolutely stunning! One recommendation, if you'd devide everything you've done for the bathroom, for example, I'd absolutely enjoy watching every single part separately and then would definitely watch the whole bathroom build all at once. That way you'd get more content out and give fans more stuff to watch. I'm sure you have all the recordings to do it, I think it would definitely be worth your time piecing all of them into smaller videos, rather then just 1 big one.
