Can you tell me what size envelope for packaging you use ?
Do you wash items for the bins? If not how do you decide when do? Do you wash all items?
Unless washing is needed, items are steamed once they're first brought to my office and then steamed once again before photos. Steaming sanitizes more than washing

This is really interesting. I love the care you put into each package but I really love the fact that you carry larger sizes. Most people on these resale places have very small items if they are cute. The bigger sizes are usually 🤮.😀

when posting on poshmark how do you find the stock photos with the models wearing it.. if you are not sure what the name of the item is etc.
I will either google the brand name along with distinguishing characteristics like material, print, construction, etc. ("Free People wool mohair fair isle print v-neck sweater" is an example of something I would search) or I will take a picture and run it through google images!

I've sold that same tiger sweater! Next time you find it stick it up on Ebay, I sold it for over $60 and that person paid up to get it sent to them overseas.

Hi! Apparently they grant access to accounts randomly, at least that is what I have heard. Do you order from them frequently? I think if you do it ups your chances - not positive though

Loving these shipping videos. I use packing paper to ship as well. I use the Uhaul packing paper Its 9.95 for 200 sheets. I think the sheets are alittle larger. Buy maybe not. Lol

The packing slip? Yes! That's what I was having so much trouble with when I prepped for this video. It just prints out a picture and title of what sold, which I don't really need lol

I pay all my bills/rent etc. and then the remaining goes to both savings and re-investing in more inventory

I have never shopped at a goodwill outlet store what's the difference between a goodwill outlet and goodwill store? Do u have to buy pallets of clothes? And do u pick them out?
Goodwill outlet has huge blue bins that you “dig” through the clothing. You hand select them
So what have you been selling for the most part-other than what’s reflected in in this group of clothes? I just sold a sweater duster alpaca wool and a vintage 1962 men’s Pendleton shirt.
I'd say the last 3 ship with me videos are a good reflection of what's been selling for me!

From the thredup outlet? About a week and a half maybe
Is the packing paper cheaper than buying cello bags or the plastic bags? I just got the cello bags and notice if not very careful the sides split on them.

I ordered the paper today from U-Haul! I will no longer ship with the plastic bags and keep them only as inventory storage bags.

i dont wrap my items in anything lol I just put it in the postage envelope unless its a dress or shoes I may put a tissue paper in there ahah I despise shipping its the worst

Is a 1092 or 1095 box the shipping price? You always take such good care of the items you sell
It's the number of the box :) You can type box 1092 or 1095 into USPS search bar (under shipping & supplies tab) and find the ones I'm using if you want to order them for free
Are you also figuring in posh fees and taxes in your earnings?
For each sale I give sale price, what I earned after poshmark fees, what I paid for the item, and what my net profit came out to. So yes lol

I’m super excited they just opened a goodwill outlet in Dallas which is 15 minutes from my work. I’ve been to the Ft Worth one and the Austin one. Waiting for the hype to die down before I hit up the new one :)

Mcthriftzie yes!! The closest one is the one in Ft Worth which is about a hour from home. It has always surprised me that Dallas didn’t have one. You would think they would, being such a big city. So excited when I saw a flyer at the regular goodwill I go to advertising the new outlet.
Aimee Mcmahan that’s awesome!! When the Houston one first opened, it took a while for the trucks to bring over the merchandise that hadn’t sold from the stores so they had to just put all raw donations in the bins. There was some really good stuff lol

Girl I need help !! My sales are not close to what you make. Idk what I'm doing wrong! If I try to sell things like FREE people, anthropoligie it will just sit in my closet forever. Any tips ? Tricks ?

crystal soto biggest thing for me is listing consistently, I don’t even worry about sharing much. Listing lots of items items that are in demand and trendy is huge, also making sure your buyers can see the items clearly. Good lighting is key! Having social media accounts that direct traffic to your closet has been a game changer. Create goals, break them up into realistic to-do lists, and tackle one day at a time

@@Mcthriftzie by the way. I admire how you are able to be your own boss. I quit my full time job, to focus on school , and made posh my part time job. I want to make posh my full time job , hopefully soon. And I'm ALWAYS watching your videos to see what I can do.
crystal soto I’m glad they are helpful for you!! Good luck with your goals 👍 as far as your posh closet goes (just by taking a quick look), I would say it looks good! You clearly know brands and what’s in demand, so keep the listings coming. Whatever you listed last month try to double this month. Also invest in a steamer (even if it’s just a cheap handheld one to get you started) and work on presentation/lighting. It really gives your buyers confidence that your items have been cared for well and are ready to be worn

Yes of course! I do remove the pilling but it cant get 100% of it, so I'd rather disclose and take a bit of a lower offer. The sweater is usually in better shape than they are expecting
Why do you ship Priority mail items that are under 1 pound ?
All items sold on Poshmark are shipped priority regardless of their weight.
Yup it’s how Poshmark works. I personally think it keeps things simple as far as buying and selling.
