I always plastic bag large items like the hand made granny square boho vest, so if the box falls out of the truck, or is dropped, in a puddle of water, it is protected. I can get a pack of 10 2.5 gallon bags for a couple bucks (which can be reused)...I guarantee you I would have complaints if I didn't do this. Finally, I always use the usps shoe boxes for shoes 👍

I dont know how you can do a video while doing the shipping! I have to have complete concentration for shipping and I triple check my orders going out, have caught a few label mistakes before they went out :)
Hahaha a lot of the actual shipping process is muscle memory at this point, but as you might have seen in the video I get mixed up from the multi-tasking lol. It definitely makes it more enjoyable when I'm filming and chatting

These ship with me videos are my favorite! I have no idea why I like them so much, but I think it might be because the info comes at you in a slower pace and your brain doesn’t get as mentally overwhelmed. It’s just like hanging with a friend while they are working 💖

Great video very detailed. I have 46 years of shipping background experience. I have franken box items because boxes weren’t made for certain things. You do great shipping experience I don’t find many people over the years I was in shipping have your care and skills . Wished I could have found people like you in my area to work for me . Care you take shows the buyer you care and want your item get there safe ❤️👍. Some thinks it sold so throw it in a pkg . it’s out of here . The extra tape on the ends more security but for me peace of mind 😂. Loved both of your shipping videos and all your haul videos very informative. Take care till your next video.

You should order the game board size flat rate large box for your bundles. You can fit an amazing amount in there and the size is perfect for bundles and long coats etc.

I just take photos next to a window and increase the brightness a small amount in my photo gallery, nothing fancy!

-If the item has room for another price drop, I will leave it for the next CCO sale. If not, I will re-list to try to get new likers to start the process over again.
-ISO posts are usually found when you're searching for comps. They are available listings where someone typically has the style name and what theyre looking for in a listing.

I love making $20 and up as well . Sales have been low lately though;(love buying low and selling high part time . I find things for $3 and below at my local non profit thrift stores

two thumbs up ! I really enjoy this type of video it is very informative . I am learning about Posh as I am just getting starting..slowly ... Cant wait to get good at it.. Have sold several things so far right off the bat. Need to learn all about bundles dropping prices etc.. and the extra s/h for heavier items. I would think you check weight before printing and it is 3.95 for seller for up to 6lbs but 7.95 extra if over 6lbs. I have several items that are 10lbs (new wine goblets type things new bake ware set) so need to find out what cost is as seller pays for it... say for 10lbs? by the way you did excellent on these items. wow! great profits! i have my items priced too low to sell fast. need them out fo my space! lol I dont have patience waiting for sales...lol It is a lot of work , but you make it look easy since you know what you are doing... I have done eBay for almost 20 years.. off and on again. thanks for all the help you are giving us.
Pricing too low for quick sales is a double-edged sword, as it can cheapen brands. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not selling $150+ garment in like new condition for $20.

Thank you! I steam everything once it gets to my workspace to sanitize and then another steam before taking photos to de-wrinkle.

You've probably answered this a million times, but, do you wash the cloths you find at the bins? (Even if they look clean)
Unless washing is needed, items are steamed once they're first brought to my office and then steamed once again before photos. Steaming sanitizes more than washing

Buyer pays shipping when they check out, and it's the same for any box/envelope. The shipping only costs more if the items weigh 5+ pounds and at that point, I (the seller) has to pay extra to upgrade the label

Is ordering thredup outlet online different from the regular thredup site?
Yes! If you have access to it (it was released randomly to accounts) you will see an "outlet" tab towards the top of the screen next to "clean out"
Another great video! I’m always happy to learning more about the shipping process:) question: when you have to mail a heavier box and change the shipping, do you basically deduct that difference from your profit or do you charge the customer? And is the shipping the same price for the different envelopes and boxes you use as long as it weighs under 5 lbs?
Correct, the buyer always pays the same shipping price, no matter what I am shipping the item(s) in. To answer your first question, if a bundle is over a certain amount of items I just assume that I will have to upgrade the label and factor that cost into the price negotiation with the buyer. Sometimes I will leave a comment explaining that I will have to pay for extra shipping and am therefore more firm on price.

Sara Osgood I have the DYMO 4XL and I love it, haven’t had any issues for the 2 years I’ve had it. If you can, I’d wait closer to Christmas because they usually partner with resellers to give great deals. I got the DYMO plus 1,350 labels for $230 total
Mcthriftzie thanks! I use a regular printer now & was going to make it work until I scale up on my business. I’m finally scaling up so I wanted to get a fancy thermal printer lol. I can wait a few months to get a great deal though, thanks for the tip!

Poshmark actually doesn't let buyers return items, they encourage them to "re-posh" in their own poshmark closet
