The True Test Of The Bonafide P127 In A Small Craft Advisory

- Will my new Bonafide P127 be up for the challenge?! I don't recommend kayaking in these conditions. I do it all the time and accidents can happen to anyone. I wanted to truly test the capabilities of this kayak. I will say, it is more than up to the challange! Great job on building a beast kayak Bonafide! Tight lines yall

Hats off to you man I don:t even take my 21 ft fiberglass boat out in that stuff...tight lines
I won't usually fish in that stuff but I needed to know what the kayak was capable of.
21' all day long in that. Nothing to it. That's not even what I consider worthy of a small craft advisory.
Great video! That's a nice yak for sure! Thanks for the steering clarification. 👌🏽
Thank you! You're welcome
I bought one last spring. Pedal, no motor. Used it a lot. Wow. What an eye opener.
It's a very capable kayak 😁
Looks like you picked a great kayak. I'm really happy for you.
Thank you Ardee!
Stability tests of the Bonafide were amazing. It's a great Yak ......
I did a lot of researching and this is the best kayak for me based on what I was looking for.
Nice kayak! I’m thinking about upgrading from my slayer propel, but I just like it so much and it’s a BATTLESHIP in conditions like that. But inside the hull storage would be awesome!
I'm loving it man! It was made for me I think lol.
Yes Sir big Yak, time to get your redfish curls on now!!!😂😂😂
You got that right!😎💯
It looks like the Escalade of kayaks! An upgrade for you
It's a huge upgrade. Thank you
Congrats on the new yak. Any chance they are sponsoring you? If I was gonna get a prop drive yak I would seriously look at Bonafide, I like there layout.
Thank you! No sponsorship. I found it on marketplace. The guy only used it a few times
Nice kayak !!
Thanks man!
No one puts baby in the corner just out to pasture 😅. Looks good brother like a tactical unit.
Lol. Baby is fixing to be scraped and parted out but I still love her 😂
Finally upgraded, that's what happens when you flip a small yak. That's why I got the bass raider
My old one was completely worn out. Any kayak can be flipped, especially when adding extra motor weight
Bass raider is not a kayak 😎
@@cleanfunfishing kayak/Jon boat lol
@@MIKEMELENDEZ_FISHING 😁😁💯💯👍👍
Dought you read these but what you got in That setup? 7-8 grand? Really nice yak. I am fixing to buy a yak and Bonified yaks we’re in my top 3 pics, looking at Old Town, and Jackson Big rig I am 6’5” 62 years old and pretty good shape big guy strong my main concern is stability wished there were a company that would let you try them out like hv a pond or pool where I can actually get into it try it out but there ain’t. Good luck
I bought everything slightly used and have $4500 in it. $6k would be brand new for the kayak and motor. I have an old town also for my customers but I love my bonafide the best. Pretty stable for me but your height you might want something a little wider like the old town or Jackson
Cool video! How are you liking the Newport 180? I’m trying to decide on that motor or the new larger battery upgraded Bixby.
Any thoughts, insight appreciated.
Oscar
Thank you Oscar! Newport is working great still. I would prefer a torqueedo though. Their controller and battery connections are top notch. Bixpy will only go 3 or 3.5 mph. Mine runs 5 and a similar torqueedo will run 5 to 5.5 mph. They make a 3 hp also that will run close to 7
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you Rey
Hi my friend how do you manage the steering system with Newport nk180?
I use a pipe as a tiller handle
Always wonder about the stability of that bonafide one twenty seven
They're pretty dang stable
I want to get a black pak like the one you have. How do you like it?
It's nice. So far I like it
Do you have to register that kayak or just use same registration as last kayak.
Each vessel must be registered
It’s so hard to say good bye 😂. What you going to name her?
I haven't ever named a boat or kayak. The CFF Minnow lol 🤣
How much was the trolling motor setup?
$2k with battery.. It's a newport nk180
Price point?
$3100 not including the motor and all that
The true value here is just how much better a stern driven motorized yak is than beating your brains out with a paddle. The future is with electric motors.
