Fishing Spots Based On Tide Level And Spring Time Patterns

- Tide level and wind are the most important conditions for a shallow water fisherman like me. There are always places to fish no matter what the tide level is. On a low tide redfish and black drum can be forced out of the back lakes and into the creeks or deeper guts and also into the bay just outside of these areas. Spring time is a great time to fish but they can be picky as to the size lure you are using. The small 3 inch soft plastics are my lures of choice during this time of year. As we get closer to summer and the bait grows, the reds will be less picky about smaller baits and the 4 or 5 inch soft plastics will be back on again. Until then try down sizing your lures this time of year. Spring time can be a great time of year for Fly fishing as well, since the fly's are really small and match the hatch. Tides are key and once a fisherman figures out how it all fluctuates and causes fish to act it just makes things so simple. People tend to struggle with fish due to the fact that they don’t pay attention or care to pay attention enough. That just separates the people who fish and the people who catch. Not everyone eats, sleeps, and breathes fishing like us though Jason lol. And yes, the ones that are obsessed with fishing will be doing a lot of catching. The ones that are not completely obsessed but want to learn a few things is why i have a TH-cam channel, to help them learn a few things

I am having a problem wrapping line on my wake bait on the cast. I have removed the front hook and it appears to help a lot. How will this effect fishing.
I have tried that same method and it worked well. I also use a 30 pound leader on the wakebaits and that also helps
Will the top water bite be turned on next month?
With the water Temps getting back up the top water bite should be getting better any day now
