Hello Alvin. Very nice repair. Changing the "O" ring looks like the way to go.

Thank you George, I was shocked to see what Ford is asking for these block heater units...just shocking!
I'm sure there are aftermarket ones available, but a new o-ring was enough for this repair. 😊

I used to live in Minnesota and that reminds me why I've been in Florida for many years. Lol. You are so right about the snap ring players. I finally got me a good set and what a difference. Thanks Alvin
