The solo/rhythm, the "calm before the storm" clean part and the orgasmic riff which follows on "Mirror of Lies" are just pure heavy metal magic.
I don't like traditional heavy metal much these days, but this got my attention from the first note. Great writing and overall musicianship. I hear a bit of Iron Maiden, early Fates Warning, even Manowar. Quality stuff. Definitely buying this CD and looking further into the band.

I love the twangy guitar sound! Not what you would expect in metal, but it sure sounds sweet, especially in "Another Fight".

There may be an influence on Iron Maiden, but only because they started this. I hear some true heavy metal from 80' metal with a low gain and some killer riffs. They are original in their own way.

the rhythm guitar sound is something you dont hear much in heavy metal. sounds like srv/hendrix stratocaster neck position single coil. however this is fucking awesome
Next time please throw the vocals in the back of the mix. They're good, but the guitars sound buried compared to the vocals.

I know what you mean, I think it is a strange mixing. The vocals are very protruded, it annoys me too. And yes, I have a stereo. Not sure if I like it. The voice could be way more powerful in my opinion.
I agree & I dont know why but the guitars, its not that i cant hear them but they sound so....I don't know just weird, very "twangy" different for sure. might be the mixing like you said. The solos are good though.

wow who ever can not hear the guitars must be playing this through Bluetooth or wi fi piece of crap speakers , try playing it through a real set of speakers : IE full range yes the vocals are out front but can be mixed down by removing most of the treble out
Regardless if they sounds like maiden its influence. So what! Metal eventually sounds repetitive over time. To be technical if you want, everyone has copied since the dawn of heavy metal was created. It's just something that happens so just headbang and enjoy what ruler threw at our faces🤘🖕
