I have the 502 non x! I think it's sooo much better than the x version, to me, i don't understand why everyone goes for the x. It's lighter, no tubes, more nimble, smaller rear sprocket for cruising, less top heavy, more flat footed..... It just makes more sense all round. Just done a euro trip on my 502,loved every minute. 702 coming my way hopefully. Safe ride peeps.
in summary, the 702 is a better daily trail/cruiser while the X is a better trail/adventure. Both are beasts in their catogery considering what bang for your buck you get in return, in comparison to what's out there. Well done Benelli
16:22 The China version of the bike comes standard with the camera. It's not in the EU/UK version because it's illegal to own/use a dash cam in some countries (Portugal and Switzerland if I recall correctly). Kinda stupid that the rest of us have to "suffer" because of them. If you like you can buy the original camera for around 165€.
When I was younger, I wanted a Benelli 250 6, this was when you could ride a 250 as a learner. My dad said no so he bought me a Honda 250 silver dream instead. I always regretted never buying a Benelli.
All secret agents should ride motorcycle, because you be come f,,,,,king invisible,,lol ,,I was thinking he forgot about the 1/2 inc ,,but he never does,,,just ask his missus lol,. Great review again ,.
You’re the only person that thinks the seat is comfortable 😂 Just about every owner complains that the seat is hard as concrete. I own the exact same bike as you were on and yes the seat is hard as concrete. One of those air cushions solves that. No mention of the fuelling issue I notice so maybe the dealer in question (won’t name but it’s the same place I bought mine from) actually sorted that out on that bike? In the meantime those of us that bought the bike still suffer with the issue with no resolution in sight. Dealers, Benelli and Moto GB don’t want to know. The bike is great, very capable and I love mine apart from the hard seat and most of all the fuelling issue which ruins the experience.
my helmet is brighter orange than the sun, my bike is orange, i have massive led on, always wear bright clothes so basically i am impossible to miss - they stare into my eyes and still f'in pull out !!! They then do some wimpy apology and hope for a thankyou from me.......unreal - i only use roads to get to green lanes, the more i use roads the more i remember why i quit road bikes in 09
It sounds like you're suffering an en masse importation of commiefornia drivers! Their DNA is fueled by the EGO. I loathe them. 🙂 Benellis are nice looking motorbikes. Our local dealer(s) come and go due to our currently stoopid governMENTAL leadership mucking up the economy in the spirit of "fairness"? Benellis were one of the "minibikes" I lusted after in the mid '60s of my colorful yoot! I look forward to more such reviews from you, sir! Thank you! SS in commiefornia, USA.

Also for this reason I doubt the 800 will get a dash cam either.

I don't understand why they didn't put the seat from the 502 onto the 702! The 502 is comfy as hell.
