But watching your friend die turn into "one of those" before you, being forced to ultimately kill your friend, and then keep waiting for your turn which never comes... wow, just wow

yeah Riley is a way better character than Dina. Dina was pretty annoying at the start tbh, i think the only reason i stopped finding her annoying was because she stopped showing up ahah.
if Riley was still alive maybe Joel and Ellie would never meet and that means Ellie would never know Joel or Dina. and if only Riley didn't get bitten then Maybe he'll go on a long trip with Joel and Ellie

Gonna be intersecting to see the show adapt this. So far they’ve done such a good job making familiar thing feel new and still emotional even though I know what to expect next

This was the final component that made Ellie become as smart as she is, she was doing military drills sure, but she kept asking Joel to carry weapons and how to do certain things.. well she had to do it while looking for supplies to help him and she totally kicked ass. I love this game series so much
I know the first game and dlc by heart, and could probably tell the story of them even down to the smallest detail. This is the first time seeing the Part 1 version and the difference in graphics, models, and lighting is just night and day. I'm honestly in awe.
This is the first time I've watched the DLC and goddamnit, my heart hurts for Riley and Ellie :(

The part where they were telling jokes it just seems so real like real friends having fun instead of some dry conversations like other games

I've been watching these videos as my way of experiencing the last of us since I'm too much of a pussy to actually buy and play the game, and god the story it tells is amazing

All the people who complained about tlou2 cuz it was "lgbt agenda" or some shit apparently forgot about this dlc..
Not just the DLC, it was obvious, even in the main game, that Ellie was homosexual, and Bill as well

i guess her reaction to the magazine could be a hint but it was also a comical moment so maybe. something that could actually be a hint is before she fights with Joel. when reading from the diary she says "is this all they had to worry about? boys, movies? deciding which skirt goes with which shirt?"

@@ROrneli give it some years. Not saying i support the double standard, but I understand why they feel that way. It's only recently that we see so many black characters in video games like this or in films in general. People are still protective of this I guess but I imagine it will die down in some time.
