For anyone wondering, yes, you can use it as a midi controller, using a printer cable(USB A to USB B).

Hi, may i ask, how do I change the metronome time signature while recording a song? The settings keep changing back to the default setting whenever i try to record a song... I hate the chime sound I just want the clicks....

Your demo of these PSR-e343 voices was superbly done. I compared the sound of a Grand Piano from Yamaha Arius YDP-141 Vs. the sound coming from this PSR-e343, and I found they are awesome and similar. My question: are grand piano voice samplings stored in these instrument the result of what Yamaha called the Dynamic Stereo Sampling from real acoustic piano? or synthesized electronic sound for this PSR-e343?

I believe Casio Lk series doesn't have touch response on the keys. Lk series (yung umiilaw yung keys pag tutorial) are entry level keboards frm casio, I believe.
Better try Yamaha E343 or later models who have touch response. I've tried one E343 in a music shop in Manila and I'm actually planning having that one. /Apir pare,Noypi:-) /

3200 is clicky i mean it makes click sound when key is pressed and the tones are not very impressive

I think the first song is called "every heart" by boa or you can just type Inuyasha every heart but I'm not 100% sure if that's the correct song

They directly-record the keyboard's output to lay over the video because that's professional.
Of course they will sound worse because the Built-in Yamaha speakers aren't that good especially in dynamic range but the samples are decent quality.

its successor psr e353 has added feature, its just I dont like silver color, I prefer all black it is more slick, can you convince me to go e353 instead.

CTK 3200 don't have layer and split function, so i guess the PSR is better.
PSR E343 Is much superior,the casio have timbres simple,most is good keyboard also

casio is nowhere near the quality of yamaha nomatter which model .
plastic is cheap , sound quality is terrible .
they might be low in price but poor in quality .
luc dajac i've seen many $1000+ keyboards of casio and i am not satisfied . DGX 650 is best choice .
please how did you make its sound is more like real piano? i have the same keyboard but the sound of grand piano is not the same in the video
In this particular video the keyboard is being recorded from its output jack so you are not hearing the sound of the keyboards built in speakers but the sound of the piano sample direct from the source.

Where are you supposed to sit when using a 61 key keyboard? Middle C is off to the right, so when you sit at the center you have to move your right hand pretty far across your body to play middle C. If you sit centered at middle C, your body is nowhere near the center of the keyboard. Ack!

+Alexole Eya Yes you can.. You can also connect the PSRE353 to your PC via USB, thats the new model as the PSRE343 has since been discontinued.

+sheii acala Yes you can, but not all the headphones , If you can't with your head phone you have to buy an adapter

Yes. Yamahas are the best sampled keyboards. Specially their onboard speakers produce this nice sound.
Does this keyboard have an internal power-supply or is it battery powered?

It uses both but it doesn't come with an ac power adaptor so you have to buy it separately

Hello, I'm from India. I know nothing about piano, but would like to learn one in spare time.
I have considered Yamaha. Here they are selling PSR E353, is it good? Also, I would like to learn only the original piano and not much else voices and beats (even those customized for India) which comes with every product.
Do you recommend PSR-E353?
You could look at the NP12 or NP32 if you didnt want so many of the extra sounds and rhythms.
