Before I told my dad I smoked I actually convinced him it was a flash drive for school 😂 flash forward a couple years and he’s buying me pods since they changed the laws here in the USA. (In my state it is perfectly legal for him to do that, so don’t come at me pls. Some states have different laws than others and I’ve done my research)

I roll my own cigarettes, which I think is way better than buying a pack. I put no filter in it. So whenever I need to smoke, I have to roll it by hand so I tend to smoke less than if I buy a pack.
Juul pods here in Québec (Canada) costs 25$ with taxes which is pretty expensive. I used to smoke one Pod a day, which was way too much. Because it tastes great and it can be smoked indoor, I abused it and was always puffing on it, even though I didn't need to.
I suggest to never start smoking any form of nicotine. It just sucks in the end and gets you addicted to something you don't need in the first place. Whenever you quit you feel like there's something missing. I hope I'll be able to quit someday.

I stoped smoking 2 years ago. Now I am super happy with my decision.
I quit smoking once I caught pneumonia, felt like I was slowly sufficating to death a little each day. Falling to sleep only to wake up multiple times a night gasping for air.
Horrible experience and the whole time I just wondered how much easier it would be to breath if I never started smoking. I quit than and that was probably 4 years ago and I'm happy for it but at the same time I never noticed an improvement in health or breathing.
Just told myself it takes a long time to undo all the damage so I was sure it would happen later. Still to this day I do not feel it really improved anything by quiting (in the sense of energy and personal health). I'm certain it would have caused long term damage if I never quit but I mean I only smoked for about 6 years.
I don't vape tho, I was mostly just wondering what the heck is juuling.

Ever since I started vaping juul, I slept better, am less anxious, less irritable and my insomnia was greatly reduced. For the meantime, I think it has benefited me a lot. If there are hidden negative effects long-term, I'm willing to take the risk. I'd gladly vape if that means I interact with people better, and if it helps with one key element of a good life - good sleep.
I'm glad it makes you fall asleep at night but if something bad happens or styntomps it could be the sign your brain is shutting down. I would quit right away or go see a doctor right away if that happens to you but other than be safe man

The problem with this statement is that juul is too new. Cigarette caused deaths are from people who smoked for many many many years and developed complications. Juul hasn’t been out long enough for any long terms related complications to come up
the only thing is, when cigarettes where first mainstream and used. People probably didn't really die from them. Children smoked them and no one really thought they were harmful. In the first year cigarettes were a thing only a few people probably died also. But eventually if vaping is worse than cigarettes because their isn't long term data, when the people who vaped turn 50 they may have complications that are even worse than cigs
@@alexcleveland288 Juul is new, but vaping has been around for almost a decade, and the juice compounds are the same, there is a very good study made by bth (British Health England) that came to the conclusion that vaping is 95% less harmfull than smoking, and now their government recomend the switch from smoking to vaping. The main reason for this is the same as vaping thc oil, the process of burnig is the main culprit, not the nicotine or thc, nicotine is just a light stimulant, same as coffe. I really want them to make a nicotine free smoking device. I feel like it would be a great way for people to quit and for people who want to try smoking/vaping without getting addicted.
There are such things, infact I use one. I got hooked on cigs when I was younger and my mum eventually found out. She could tell that me quitting affected me so she gave me a no-nic vape as a sort of placebo to make me think that I was getting my dose, and it really helped me quit.

The thing about Juuls and vapes is that they were made as an alternative for people addicted to smoking cigarettes. A lot of former cigarette addicts are glad they switched to vaping and juuling because compared to cigarettes they are safer in the long run.
Major fact error: you get 4 JUUL pods for $20 in Canada, AKA $5 per equivalent pack

The point still stands that they represented it as 1 pod was $16, not 4.

Yeah. I'm told it's significantly less expensive in the long run, as a single pod is equivalent to a full pack of cigarettes. As it's been said, you get 4 pods per ~$20 purchase. The primary expense is upfront with the Juul itself, but it pays for itself over time.

I’m 17 and have been smoking since I was 13. Very recently I was sitting outside smoking a cigarette and a thought popped into my brain it was like “this tastes really gross and it hurts my throat idk why I keep this up” and I put it out and it’s been about 4 days since I’ve gone near a cigarette I even have them laying around my apartment and I walk past them all the time and I don’t think once about lighting one. The withdrawal sucks though so I’ve reverted to vaping however I feel good that I’m not smoking and I want to keep this up until I’m comfortable enough to completely devoid my system of nicotine.

When I first hit a Juul I didn't even know there was nicotine in it. The only reason I keep hitting Juuls is because all my friends have them out infront of me all the time and it's almost impossible to resist when it's so convenient and shareable.

I use QuitGo inhalers. I've only juuled twice before off a friend but I've never actually owned one in fear of getting caught. So I use these QuitGo inhalers which are basically flavored air. It looks just like a normal white pen so I can use it in class and the teachers will just think I'm sucking my pen (Sounds really wrong). There's no nicotine in it which means no smoke. Very useful for on the go traveling as well

Vaping is cheaper where I live actually. Cigs $9-$11 and pods $6-$8 each. Although, in the long run vaping becomes more expensive because you can do it anywhere at any time.

The biggest issue with Juul in particular is the amount of nicotine in it. It’s definitely better than smoking, but I’d recommend vapes where you can buy juice with less nicotine.

A lot of what nicotine does is similar to caffeine, and if it will be found that juuling has little to no negative side effects then I won't see it as a bad thing. Nicotine pouches are an alternative as well.

It's not. They got the pricing wrong. They said 1 Juul pod = $16, but they come in packs of 4 Juul pods, which the total cost of is $15-18 in the U.S. If it was an ad, that would've been the most important part to get right.
