FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME THAT APPARENTYLY NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING OR ELSE NOTHING MAKES SENSE😅: The reason the FHR slows during Early Decelerations is because the pressure on the head is putting pressure on the Vagal Nerve (heart, lungs, etc),. Pressure on the vagal nerve causes the heart to slow. And this is why the FHR rebounds to normal quickly once pressure is stopped, and why early decelerations aren't a danger.
I can’t sleep because I have my OB final in 2 hours. You went live on yt with this video just at the right time. If ya can’t sleep might as well study 🥹 pls have critical care videos for next semester 😭 I have a feeling I’m gonna need them 🙃
Oooooh I should make some critical care videos!!! Can you please keep me updated on how your final goes? I know finals are such a stressful time! I wish you the best of luck and that you pass with flying colors!!! XO
