Hi Future Nurses, I got to take part of the ✨ACTUAL✨ Next Generation NCLEX Exam as a beta tester for their pilot program. 👉First and foremost: I have heard so many people say this test will be harder to pass. Honestly, I think it is the opposite. If you have struggled to pass the NCLEX in the past, you may have a better chance at passing this type of exam for these reasons: 1. There are 6 new question types: extended multiple response, extended drag & drop, matrix style, drop-down "cloze", highlighting, and bowtie. If you have attention issues, this will help not make the test so monotonous (repetitive) with the same question formats. 2. Partial scoring is now allowed!!! HALLELUJAH! Thank you to NCSBN Gods for doing this! 🤣 On the old NCLEX, you would either pass/fail a question, now you can get points for what you got correct! This is a game-changer! 3. Lab values differ from various institutions, facilities, etc. Now the NCLEX will provide you a lab value reference so you know what is abnormal vs. normal for ranges. 4. This test is geared toward visual learners. The case studies simulate real-world experiences and allow you to visualize that YOU are the nurse in this scenario so what are you going to do? 5. The Next Generation NCLEX still uses Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT). This is where the computer will estimate your knowledge each time you answer a question to provide you with questions suited to your ability level. 6. 1 of the things that you may note is that when you start getting similar questions that should give you a hit of getting a wrong answer and you should sliwdown and read your question. Under pressure we tend to not read the whole question. Remember that within those question there is a right one so eliminate the wrong ones then you have less to choose from. And another pointer. Study daily at home as if you were at school. Do not send your letter right away give your self another week before you send it in and slow down the study But don't stop. A day before your test. Take the day and relax. When you get to the testing site be CALM, COOL , COLECTED. Say a little prayer and give it to GOD. Good luck taking your test.
For me, it was all about preparation. I stuck to practicing UWORLD, and Archer, and studied the Mark K lectures 2 times, and a 3rd time on more important lessons like delegation and priority. I was scoring in the low 70's on practice tests by the end of my studying. And the result in the end was the NCLEX was more anxiety-causing than difficult. My advice is simply to make a study schedule and stick to it. The anxiety will probably be there no matter what just because this is so important to you. But soon you will be in your nursing career and looking back on social media at the nursing classes going through the same things you went through, being so happy that is not you anymore :)

Hi!! I love your videos ❤ I have a question for the scoring. Does this apply to all SATA? I thought it would only be for like the case discussions and creating next gen questions.
Hey guys, I am very happy I just passed the new generation Nclex with a great help from Dr Luther. My advice to everyone preparing for the new Generation Nclex is to contact Dr. Luther and pass your test very easily.
Hi Amanda, can you please further explain the +/- scoring method I’m so confused I thought we would be receiving partial points with the “0/1 scoring method” but the +/- method threw me off because of the same question you showed with the same answers but with different scoring, will the scoring differ from questions ?
Hi Elizabeth! No problem! :) You do get partial points for both with the answers you get correct! The difference is: 0/1 scoring method = EARN 0 points for INCORRECT answers +/- scoring method = SUBTRACT 1 point for each INCORRECT answer Either way, these scoring methods are a 10000000x better than the old NCLEX. When I took the old NCLEX, it was either pass/fail. if I got a SATA and had 3 right and 1 wrong, then I would get the whole question wrong. Now you get points for what you got right. So my advice is that if you are not certain about a specific answer, do not pick it! It is better to get points by picking the answers you know to be true! :)

Nice video, but I am a bit confuse on the first scoring mentioned in the video (the zero scoring that any answer(s) wrong won't be counted against us) and the second scoring that if the answer(s) is wrong it will be minus a point of the amount we chosen. I guess my question is how will I know which questions are the ones that will not penalize me and the one that would from the first two example you mentioned in the video. Because you use the same questions which was SATA questions. Please let me know, thanks.

I took the nclex on last week Thursday I didn't pass but after watching your video it gives me hope and confidence that this NGN exam I will pass. IN THE NAME OF ALMIGHTY GOD I WILL PASS and achieve my goal as an RN.!!!!
Yes, you will pass
@@hawiltube979 thanks for your kind words. I've been stressed out and at the same time angry at myself for failing. 😔😔😔
@@aichadonzo6151 don’t be. I know the feeling. I thought I failed the NCLEX after taking it and fell into a deep depression. But you are capable and you will pass the NCLEX. Dust yourself off and try again. Not everybody passes on their first try and know that’s okay. Believe in yourself and try to figure out what you think you did wrong and try again. You’re going to be a great nurse one day

Amanda you really relieved so much of my anxiety. Thank you so much for being thorough and most importantly giving me hope! I appreciate you !
🥹🥹🥹 That is absolutely lovely and so kind! Thank you so much for being here! I wish you all the best of luck!
Do not send your letter right away give your self another week before you send it in and slow down the study
But don't stop.

Finally someone who has taken it and can give us real insight. I've listened to Remar and all she does is try to scare the S**t out people. Im not here to trash anyone. But I don't like her tactics at all. Please give us some real Intel on what to expect and do you really feel that she is telling the truth in trying to tell future nurses it's so hard to pass this new generation test?
Yeah she doesn’t explain very well and she talks too much to the viewers
Omg I saw you lpn review last year before my NCLEX. Now here I am again for my next gen RN. Congratulations 🎊🍾🎉

Which book do you prefer for NCLEX exam and tell me further process??
@@stafydabhi1915 I didn't really use a book. I watched this video and a few topic specific videos that I knew I needed help on, like her video on different precautions. I also watched Nclex Crusade's videos on how to answer different question styles. I would definitely google Mark Klimek lectures 1-12 and listen or read the notes (I did both and wrote my own notes).

I will be purchasing your starter box for school, bc I k ow I will get in 😉. All that said to let you know that you have given me a huge boost of confidence and good energy towards my journey and you make it so plain and easy to understand, which is the greatest gift yet. You're helping so many of us, God bless you and your brand.
Wow! That is so kind! I am so grateful for YOU! I really hope you get in because I have no doubt you will be a great nurse one day! Also age does not matter. I had a guy in my nursing classes that was 56 and wanted to switch careers. He is happier than ever now! Just keep pushing! ❤

I took the NCLEX on February 28th, 2023 and passed in 75 questions. I got a glimpse of the Nex gen questions and they are similar to the regular NCLEX with case studies that have sections of multiple questions.
I put all my trust in you Lord. For all my fellow nurse students I failed my 1st NCLEX and was devastated but I didn’t put in enough work as I should’ve. Now I get to do it again take the NGN. Honestly I’m kinda excited that the lord has given me another opportunity , God knows I want this, to be used by him to help others and use my hands, mind, knowledge and love to help. I trust that I will pass this time. I know it’s Crazy talk but I can’t lie I’m genuine excited to take this test I still feel like I know nothing but like I said I have wanted this and I trust my father. Thank you beautiful nursing you’re truly changing my way of thinking and preparing.
No problem! :)
You do get partial points for both with the answers you get correct!
The difference is:
0/1 scoring method = EARN 0 points for INCORRECT answers
+/- scoring method = SUBTRACT 1 point for each INCORRECT answer
Either way, these scoring methods are a 10000000x better than the old NCLEX.
Thank you so much for your hard work. You are very gorgeous and sweet voice with pure heart ❤️ we all love you too😍
