Your Own Shadow used to have a really obvious particle effect when active and I am so mad that they got rid of that considering you have literally no clue when it ends

it'd be fine to bring it back with the current game state of scr, but they were right in doing it at the time (argueably so) since the community wasn't large and hadn't found ways to use the mechanics and workings of the game for counterplay and strategy. Since YOS was very obvious before people would just track star into oblivion till it was over, u'd say helping hand gave a speed boost but it isnt enough to catch someone who'd be around the distance of a dimensional scythe before yos was over and the whole point of the move became pointless since its supposed to be a counter over time instead of in one burst (at the time scythe and btd were the highest dealing dmg moves and reacting to them just didnt work for some reason when it came to yos).
The way i'd change scr would be to have Conqueror's Will apply its affect to the user, knocking you down and changing your limbs. The only difference however would be to throw you into pilot and allow you to attack during the Conqueror's Will. This would stop scr's from either running away or instant killing you during the move. Another change would be making Your Own Shadow be completely visible as to allow you to see when it ends to do a combo and not attack with the risk of taking damage. Arrow barrage could lower the damage but to be honest with these changes you could just leave it.
I think Conqueror's Will should put the user to sleep as well, forcing you into pilot mode and disabling chariot run. This way, you can't use an eye gouge at the end of the move and just get a bunch of free damage. On top of that, you'd have to think about how close you should be to your opponent so that you don't waste the move but still making sure it doesn't get cancelled. Also, unnecessary bit, but it would be cool if it would temporarily make you swap avatars with the nearest person in the range of Conqueror's Will. For the canon.
True but istead of pilot mode you shouldent be able to control it, it should just go beserk but not attack the user but just use random attacks on the opponents instead
Finally someone that mentions the can wake up your teammates thing, I learned about that myself and I basically thought that's pretty broken for 2v2s because it makes your partner another scr for at least some seconds, but ye the stand is pretty much broken even without that, really liked the video btw, keep it up
The introduction of the video sent me to sleep too and I can guarantee you my body violently shaking from the trauma after taking the 216 damage and hearing the other playing saying cope like they have achieved something significant by using a brain dead stand
Well the new poll changes better not happen since even with the nerfs to it are good enough but if they but the vamp freezing punch change will remove blocking when frozen so you could use scr vamp and they can't block on get up like the current eye gouge but here the can't take knock back when frozen the only redeeming thing is no block break after the barrages
I think SCR was supposed to be a support stand entirely and not a stand that can carry you to 1v1 leaderboards before but I guess they wanted to make it braindead for some reason.
For Conquerors Will, nerf the time, obvious startup, if they plan to rework it they should make it so the longer you hold the key, the longer it would be. It would force the user into a stand-still until they let go of the key. An alternative is make it like rage mode where unless they take enough damage, they can’t use it. For Your Own Shadow, make it like a counter if reworked, if not make it easier to see Arrow barrage needs the universal barrage cooldown and less range (seriously, the hitbox is so jank)
Scr was supposed to be that one stand that doesnt have damaging abilities, but it sets everything up so you can abuse m1s, but hes just too broken because they gave him a 3 barrage set up on top of that.
Alright, so, I'm sort of in agreement with Eclipse in terms of changes. For me, personally, SCR being a defensive Stand not only is okay because it offers more variations in gameplay, it does stay accurate to what it was in Part 5, a heavily defensive Stand. But CW just kinda breaks that. My suggestion for changing it would be this: First, make it so anyone put to sleep is invincible during CW. That way they can't be damaged. Make it another defensive thing for Chariot Requiem to basically pose and heal. In a sense it's sort of like Reality Marble, but the difference is the drastically higher cooldown CW has so I think it's fine. When someone wakes up, their avatar should be changed (like what happens after a Universe Reset from MIH) to reference the body swap it had. This also gives everyone effected by CW a +1 in destructive power during the effects, since those in the anime with Stands affected by it seemed to have a power increase. Plus it could also be good with teammates, allowing them to deal more damage. That being said, this would kinda suck if it was just that. So, my final suggestion would be that a DOT effect happens for the duration of your body being swapped to reference people's souls beginning to merge with creatures from other worlds in the anime, which, I would imagine be painful. The balancing could be hard with this since it's passive damage over time for an already heavily defensive Stand, but it would be a lot better than 216 free damage. Other than Conqueror's Will, I think adding back the effect when YOS is activated is needed, I think that its a bug so yeah. Obviously Pilot just needs that "Get out of jail free card" thing changed because... yeah duh. I could also suggest SCR takes less overall damage in pilot mode but the human user taking increased damage to balance out the slowdown blurry effect of the pilot, and to make Pilot more used, but again this doesn't need too much of a change other than getting rid of the get out of jail free card. I would honestly say I'd like an SCR rework, but obviously that'll never happen cause it's Uzu.
Yooooou lost me the moment you said that Chariot's CW could act like a Reality Marble in which the user can pose during it. Everyone already hates the fact you can pose during Reality Marble. It's KCR's most commonly dissed out things. Here is something another comment said that I think is a really cool idea: Make it to where CW makes everyone, including yourself, fall asleep. Now, you're probably asking, "How can you do anything if you are also asleep?" Easy. It automatically switches you to pilot. Mind you, in this ideal Chariot Requiem rework of mine, this would be Chariot's *only* means of accessing pilot mode. It wouldn't be like every other pilot Stand ever, so you can't just escape combos whenever. Anyway, with Chariot now being the one dealing damage, it really makes the Stand better. It means that once CW is over, it isn't like you can eye gouge and do a way more hurtful amount of damage. And, hey, just like TS, maybe some dmg reduction as well. There. Now Chariot is comparable to just a TS Stand.
It would be cool if cw only lasted for like 4 seconds and didn't stand crash(but u won't be able to barrage back until it ends) and would have a lower cooldown kinda like Ts's of rage stands or cmoons gravitational shift

I think to need cw, they should make a startup animation such as you looking toward scr and it puts an exclamation point above your head. 2nd: make it so you can only use pilot in cw so that you can’t do stupid spec combos off of it. Also make it so 1st hit of arrow barrage is perfect blockable, I never actually thought about it that way!! you could also maybe make it so chariot run in pilot takes away the thing where it slows you down.

I would make the startup for CW as long as TS make it so you can’t use CW while using your own shadow give more i frames when getting up from CW and make the knockdown last less time from CW and probably just make it so you don’t slow people when in pilot
*What I would do for SCR: Not much but a couple of fixes to the overall stand* Replace Arrow Barrage with a stun move called Arrow Stab, essentially a more powerful version of Star Finger that deals more damage and stuns you for longer but with less range. Give Your Own Shadow a longer windup and keep the starting effect throughout the duration of the move so it's more obvious the counter is active. Also disables Conqueror's Will when activated and for 5 seconds after it's over. In a similar vein, make the effect for when A Helping Hand is active more obvious. Have Conqueror's Will gets a longer windup and cooldown, also forcing you into Pilot Mode until around half a second after it ends. There would also be enough Iframes to ensure any getup combos are impossible to do.
How I'll rework CQ 1. Medium Windup Not as long as TS. 2. If CQ Hits anyone the user is forced into Pilot Mode 3. If you're hit in CQ knock down moves no longer ragdolls you to get up so once you're hit you are vulnerable to any moves (like if you're hit and the SCR hits you with a heavy punch you dont get back up.) 4. When CQ ends the Pilot is removed and the opponents stand comes out instantly like anubis's counter 5. Arrow Barrage has a last hit at the end 6. Time Erase can still avoid CQ entirely 7. No damage cap but the damage you cant combo extend off of CQ anymore (Cause of Pilot)
I used to main scr before ppl knew it was good(right after the arrow barrage was added) and I'm fairly certain I was a part of creating the scr meta so I sincerely apologize to everyone who got destroyed by a braindead scr user as it is partly my fault
cw is legit time stop but more op since you cant really counter it ,other then blocking right before cw which takes timing because cw is pretty much unpredictable. So i fully agree with you

Conqueror's will should start making everyone slower and then fall asleep and switch bodies, then after a way longer time they switch back or they kill the scr. Your own shadow should be able to deflect one move for each person and whatever move they do it summons their stand next to scr and does that move they did. Although that wasn't really cannon because there is no requiem arrow to pick up, it is the closest. Also conqueror's will is pretty damn cannon, add some cool soul effects then bam. P.S. remove arrow barage.
I think scr should be less like silver chariot and more like anime scr. I think arrow barrage should be removed since scr doesn’t use the arrow at all, I think conquerors will should be a support move rather than a cheesy stun. It should still send victims to sleep but like in the anime make their stands faster and stronger. It should have a self healing move since it could regenerate in the show
SCR has a low destructive power and in the anime it switches souls and changes bodies. I think to fix CW, it should have a passive that replaces CW and basically, people in the area will take more damage passively (like 5-10%) and can be upgraded. SCR will also have a passive so the farther the stand is from it’s user, the less damage and speed it has . It will still have a massive pilot range but there’s only a small range where it can do decent damage, move fast, and attack fast. YOS causes stand attacks to be reflected but not spec or stand less attacks. Arrow barrage will do less damage to stands capable of becoming requiem and more to requiem stands.
Something that I’ve noticed using Cream for a bit against Silver Chariot Requiem is that it seems Void Surprise and Dark Space doesn’t have it’s damage reflected to you if the SCR uses Your Own Shadow. Doesn’t change the Conqueror’s Will cheese, but it makes fighting SCR a little more tolerable with Cream in particular since you don’t have to worry about your moves dealing a ridiculous amount of damage to you, this rendering it mostly useless outside of getting out of combos due to Cream’s low destructive power with basic M1’s.
I would balance cw by having it so only ur stand can be in cw and make cw have start up similar to ts but not just a ts for scr and make yos have start up and have the move slow u down so u can't just pressure, pressure, pressure, with yos. I wouldn't change the pilot all to much but i would make scr's pilot just a little slower and make the chariot run move slower, and for the love of god make it so that you can't pilot barrage out of any combo in the game. I would leave helping hand alone too.
Here’s my rework: Barrage (Offensive) - A medium speed barraged that deals 1 damage for a medium amount of time. Stand Barrage Finisher (Offensive) - The same as before. Your Own Shadow (Defensive) - Decreases the size of your avatar’s hitbox for the entire time Y.O.S is active, and you can’t pose or do any damage while it’s active. Helping Hand (Defensive) - The same as before, just that the buffs for your gang members are better while the buffs for you are worse. Ethereal Souls (Defensive) - Has a long startup, but it can’t be interrupted. Once the move is activated, everyone in the perimeter except for you has their buffs, health, stands, and specs swapped around all over the place. Auto-Pilot (Offensive) - SCR goes berserk, putting everyone including you to sleep. SCR then starts attacking random people with m1s. Some people will randomly have a status effect inflicted onto them. Requiem (Offensive) - SCR throws its arrow, dealing 20 damage to anyone that isn’t in your gang. If they are in your gang and they have a requiem stand already or a stand that can’t evolve into requiem, nothing happens. If they are in your gang but they do have a stand that can evolve into a requiem stand, for about 7 seconds they have their stand evolved. All the moves are unlocked, but none of them are upgraded. Arrow Slash - SCR slashes it’s arrow in front of it 3 times, with each hit dealing 6 damage and causing bleed. Idk it’s pretty bad.
Option 1: Make it so CW wakes you up after you get hit, effectively giving you a free combo (Would require Arrow Barrage nerf) Option 2: Make CW just do damage after an animation and then wakes you up Option 3: Make SCR the only thing capable of moving during CW (Pilot) which should affect both the user and the opponent
@@ooglaboogla8097 It wouldn't make it useless. An instant, potentially uncancellable timestop would still be incredibly useful, even if you were only restricted to stand moves and CR's slow ass walk speed (It does have a run move though) .
To make it so arrow barrage isn't just a second barrage I think they should rework it into something like "arrow slashes" or something. You would do like 4 slashes with the arrow each doing like 5 damage, with 1 last slash doing like 10 damage and knocking down so you can't combo off it. You would also be able to parry the first hit like kick barrage. Balanced or nah?
Balanced but at the same time, overused. Current arrow barrage isn't a bad move but the combo potential it gives is brain dead so simple fix would be to add cooldown on barrage at the end of arrow barrage
To fix conquerors will I would make it a more beatdown type move, where the stand would do the normal bd windup that the other bd stands have, if it lands it would play a cutscene of the opponent falling asleep and slowly waking up in a new body, as they wake up they see chariot with the arrow before the opponents stand grabs them and slams them against the ground (dealing around 3/4ths of what the sptw beatdown would do) then an animation would play of them getting up from the cutscene. After the beatdown they will suffer either the loss of a leg or arm but 2 seconds of s once the bd ends. Just to keep it in line with canon it would still aoe sleep people, but nothing would come from that.
I would just remove the disforming body parts and make it so the person using scr after conquerers will cant move for like a second and they cant dot their combo, the "Your Own Shadow" move is pretty good so it shouldn't be nerfed, BUT they should put a cooldown on "Arrow barrage" so when you use it you can't barrage or fist barrage after, so it doesn't land like 3 barrages (200 dmg or so). There isn't much to change cause all of the 10 yr olds that have no idea what game balancing is and still play stand upright will leave YBA and it'll have less players because of that. You can't change much but if I'm wrong tell me.
conqueror's will is just conquerors haki but in jojo, both of them puts people to sleep, has a range, makes that eerie noise both of them are op as f#ck
*Full SCR Revamp:* 1. Make "Your Own Shadow" the same as "Love Train". 2. Switch places of "Conqueror's Will" and "Universe Reset" or atleast make it more similar cuz that is what it does in the anime, switch souls. So basically make it do everything that Uni. Reset does and don't do anything with the reset in response. 3. Who tf thought it was a good idea to give this stand a combo that can do up to 200 dmg anyways.
Honestly, the only thing that just needs to be changed is the windup for Conquers will, is like a 2-3 second start up that can be can be cancelled, that would make it a lot better.
I've used King Crimson's erasure to skip past a few CWs. I do admit you need to time it perfectly and basically need to predict when theyll use it. It's hilarious when they leave after you use erasure on it.

One thing that I don’t think you mentioned is that when someone is timestopping and you use your own shadow it reverts the dmg while love train does not
If I was a yba dev and try to fix SCR. I would lower the time on CW for the person to get up and when you own shadow is used, I would just lower the damage on it when getting reflected on the emery and for ploit just give the thing a range of how far you can go or just getting ploit canel when someone is attacking. These are the things if I was a yba and would fix.
I think it would be cool if conqueror’s will actually did the primary thing SCR is known for and swapped bodies. It could put you in your opponent’s body with your own stand. If may people are around, it would scramble everybody into random bodies. Considering scr already has so many meta moves, it would be fine with a more wacky and fun one. It could also be good in things like SBR for mixing up a wiping squad because nobody will know who is who or which person is you. It could even last until death since having a different avatar is by no means game changing

Ok with this video I learned that i can block conquerors will... what would I do to "nerf" SCR would be: -Make arrow barrage knocback the player far away when finishing or stopping the barrage half way. -Make the start up of conquerors will a bit slower by 0.5 of a second. -Make the counter have the same start up of GER counter. -I would also remove the running on pilot mode and increase the basic walking speed (if needed to be faster "Your own shadow" it's always there to do that for you... rn pilot on SCR is just a easy way of catching anyone) Honestly the damage is ok so no changes there... making the start up of CW increase more that half a second would make it easy to predict... a almost frame 1 counter that doesn't give you any "side effect" like cmoon or d4c:LT is just stupid so having a slower start up would make it a bit more fair... the arrow barrage just being a easy combo of 3 barrages it's just... what's the word im looking for... ah yes... it's D U M B.
If it has the same startup with GER's counter it becomes super bad. Counters are used to punish players for overextending their combos, with this you get punished for attempting to stop an enemy combo.
My SCR Rework (might be bad but I kind of wanted to make one) Your Own Shadow: +reflection damage -cooldown timer Helping Hand: +1.5% damage Conqueror's will: +windup +poison damage - Deform/Fatify -knockdown/sleep The Requiem Plays Quietly (new ability) 10 SP Underneath Conqueror's Will in the skill tree Is an automatic ability whch makes chariot and the player merge activating Your Own shadow and Conqueror's will and walk in the direction of joe kujoe (a random tree in 1v1 and the sea in SBR) (YOS and CW last until the ability is over) the player can move around and can use stand moves but cannot use spec abilities and they cannot move away from joe kujoe's location (cannot move backwards). Cannot Be cancelled and only activates when someone is close to the player. Cooldown 1 minute and 45 seconds. Probably definately not going to get added but hey why not try
I remembered an idea I had for an SCR tweak but the devs didnt respond to me. Basically the tweak entails conqueror's will being replaced with a rage mode exclusive ability. This rage mode doesn't buff your dmg or give you any form of damage reduction and instead gives you a speed buff and restores body parts. It restores a body part for every person with a 15 stud (dash length) radius. It also takes away a limb from this in the afflicted area. This rage mode would be called 'soul mode'. Basically its a better version of shadow atmosphere.
I played YBA for a long time when requiems were the only stand evolution there was, I stopped playing after the halloween festival and thought "the game will still continue as before", seeing that SCR continues at the time that "I am absurdly destructive despite having support skills like buff or counter, stuns and a second barrege with the arrow" I find it funny to remember why things are like that and not in a different way, who knows if the game had a different goal where, above all, people were not so badly expressive (Which is, it is impossible not to ask for toxicity)
Instead of conquerors will I would like to see them make SCR have a copying move (similar to how its able to copy BD in its reversal move). Its something that no other stand has and would be a fun replacement for CW. How this would work is that you would first need to land the move on them while in pilot mode (lets make it a pilot mode move to make the pilot mode not just an extension of your character), once the move is landed it will take a random move from the person's moveset, this move will do half the damage of the original but will have a CD reduction. If it is another damage reflection move or TS it should tell the user that the copying move has failed and make them wait the length of the CD to try again. It'd be a fun move to see and if not for SCR then they should go back to make custom stands again like KCR and CDR.
I'd probably change conqueror's will to a new move called "Binding chains" if you hit your opponent with this move it damages and holds your opponent in place temporarily and you can use m1s and a heavy punch only. But it is cancellable or can be parried. But I'm not a scr sweat or a 1v1s daily farmer. so I'm not sure of another solution
What i would do: Auto get-up after 8 punches during cw, add a cd between arrow, boxing, stand barrage, YoS ability start when the "air" effect is gone, A Helping Hand that wont increase defense, pilot that make players slow down by 15%, doesnt blur their screen, thats all i would do
Here a broken thing you can do with the stand: Barrage into pilot, if the enemy barrage back, stop the barrage and the pilot then dash and use arrow barrage into fist barrage into jaw breaker. If the enemy dont barrage back, just use arrow barrage with tour pilot. If playing against another scr: Arrow barrage, they will pilot barrage, pilot barrage too, you will end up positive so spam m1 until they block or use yos
I'd change Your Own Shadow to only deflect the next move that hits you, however their stand/themselves will hurt their own body with equal the amount of damage it would normally do and unsummon their stand after, and you cannot pose. Conquerors Will makes any person nearby asleep for 8 seconds until the Chariot Requiem User uses a move (pose counts) during the duration the user cannot sprint.
Conquerors Will: I would keep everything the same, but get rid of the "take a nap" part, and give it like longer startup Your Own Shadow: Slows you down when using it Pilot: Just get rid of it entirely Arrow Barrage: With pilot gone it's not broken anymore, but I would still make I slightly shorter but give it 0.1 more damage on each hit that's how I would balance out SCR

Well the new poll changes better not happen since even with the nerfs to it are good enough but if they but the vamp freezing punch change will remove blocking when frozen so you could use scr vamp and they can't block on get up like the current eye gouge but here the can't take knock back when frozen the only redeeming thing is no block break after the barrages

For Conquerors Will, nerf the time, obvious startup, if they plan to rework it they should make it so the longer you hold the key, the longer it would be. It would force the user into a stand-still until they let go of the key. An alternative is make it like rage mode where unless they take enough damage, they can’t use it.
For Your Own Shadow, make it like a counter if reworked, if not make it easier to see
Arrow barrage needs the universal barrage cooldown and less range (seriously, the hitbox is so jank)

Alright, so, I'm sort of in agreement with Eclipse in terms of changes. For me, personally, SCR being a defensive Stand not only is okay because it offers more variations in gameplay, it does stay accurate to what it was in Part 5, a heavily defensive Stand. But CW just kinda breaks that. My suggestion for changing it would be this:
First, make it so anyone put to sleep is invincible during CW. That way they can't be damaged. Make it another defensive thing for Chariot Requiem to basically pose and heal. In a sense it's sort of like Reality Marble, but the difference is the drastically higher cooldown CW has so I think it's fine. When someone wakes up, their avatar should be changed (like what happens after a Universe Reset from MIH) to reference the body swap it had. This also gives everyone effected by CW a +1 in destructive power during the effects, since those in the anime with Stands affected by it seemed to have a power increase. Plus it could also be good with teammates, allowing them to deal more damage. That being said, this would kinda suck if it was just that. So, my final suggestion would be that a DOT effect happens for the duration of your body being swapped to reference people's souls beginning to merge with creatures from other worlds in the anime, which, I would imagine be painful. The balancing could be hard with this since it's passive damage over time for an already heavily defensive Stand, but it would be a lot better than 216 free damage.
Other than Conqueror's Will, I think adding back the effect when YOS is activated is needed, I think that its a bug so yeah. Obviously Pilot just needs that "Get out of jail free card" thing changed because... yeah duh. I could also suggest SCR takes less overall damage in pilot mode but the human user taking increased damage to balance out the slowdown blurry effect of the pilot, and to make Pilot more used, but again this doesn't need too much of a change other than getting rid of the get out of jail free card. I would honestly say I'd like an SCR rework, but obviously that'll never happen cause it's Uzu.
Yooooou lost me the moment you said that Chariot's CW could act like a Reality Marble in which the user can pose during it. Everyone already hates the fact you can pose during Reality Marble. It's KCR's most commonly dissed out things.
Here is something another comment said that I think is a really cool idea: Make it to where CW makes everyone, including yourself, fall asleep. Now, you're probably asking, "How can you do anything if you are also asleep?" Easy. It automatically switches you to pilot. Mind you, in this ideal Chariot Requiem rework of mine, this would be Chariot's *only* means of accessing pilot mode. It wouldn't be like every other pilot Stand ever, so you can't just escape combos whenever. Anyway, with Chariot now being the one dealing damage, it really makes the Stand better. It means that once CW is over, it isn't like you can eye gouge and do a way more hurtful amount of damage. And, hey, just like TS, maybe some dmg reduction as well. There. Now Chariot is comparable to just a TS Stand.

I think to need cw, they should make a startup animation such as you looking toward scr and it puts an exclamation point above your head. 2nd: make it so you can only use pilot in cw so that you can’t do stupid spec combos off of it.

*What I would do for SCR: Not much but a couple of fixes to the overall stand*
Replace Arrow Barrage with a stun move called Arrow Stab, essentially a more powerful version of Star Finger that deals more damage and stuns you for longer but with less range.
Give Your Own Shadow a longer windup and keep the starting effect throughout the duration of the move so it's more obvious the counter is active. Also disables Conqueror's Will when activated and for 5 seconds after it's over.
In a similar vein, make the effect for when A Helping Hand is active more obvious.
Have Conqueror's Will gets a longer windup and cooldown, also forcing you into Pilot Mode until around half a second after it ends. There would also be enough Iframes to ensure any getup combos are impossible to do.

How I'll rework CQ
1. Medium Windup Not as long as TS.
2. If CQ Hits anyone the user is forced into Pilot Mode
3. If you're hit in CQ knock down moves no longer ragdolls you to get up so once you're hit you are vulnerable to any moves (like if you're hit and the SCR hits you with a heavy punch you dont get back up.)
4. When CQ ends the Pilot is removed and the opponents stand comes out instantly like anubis's counter
5. Arrow Barrage has a last hit at the end
6. Time Erase can still avoid CQ entirely
7. No damage cap but the damage you cant combo extend off of CQ anymore (Cause of Pilot)

Bro, the first 2 seconds are the most relatable thing I've *EVER* heard regarding this game.
I would make conqueror's will stun the user and make SCR go on npc-like autopilot, attacking players caught in it.
Conqueror's will should start making everyone slower and then fall asleep and switch bodies, then after a way longer time they switch back or they kill the scr. Your own shadow should be able to deflect one move for each person and whatever move they do it summons their stand next to scr and does that move they did. Although that wasn't really cannon because there is no requiem arrow to pick up, it is the closest. Also conqueror's will is pretty damn cannon, add some cool soul effects then bam.
P.S. remove arrow barage.
I think scr should be less like silver chariot and more like anime scr. I think arrow barrage should be removed since scr doesn’t use the arrow at all, I think conquerors will should be a support move rather than a cheesy stun. It should still send victims to sleep but like in the anime make their stands faster and stronger. It should have a self healing move since it could regenerate in the show
SCR has a low destructive power and in the anime it switches souls and changes bodies. I think to fix CW, it should have a passive that replaces CW and basically, people in the area will take more damage passively (like 5-10%) and can be upgraded. SCR will also have a passive so the farther the stand is from it’s user, the less damage and speed it has . It will still have a massive pilot range but there’s only a small range where it can do decent damage, move fast, and attack fast. YOS causes stand attacks to be reflected but not spec or stand less attacks. Arrow barrage will do less damage to stands capable of becoming requiem and more to requiem stands.
Something that I’ve noticed using Cream for a bit against Silver Chariot Requiem is that it seems Void Surprise and Dark Space doesn’t have it’s damage reflected to you if the SCR uses Your Own Shadow.
Doesn’t change the Conqueror’s Will cheese, but it makes fighting SCR a little more tolerable with Cream in particular since you don’t have to worry about your moves dealing a ridiculous amount of damage to you, this rendering it mostly useless outside of getting out of combos due to Cream’s low destructive power with basic M1’s.
I would balance cw by having it so only ur stand can be in cw and make cw have start up similar to ts but not just a ts for scr and make yos have start up and have the move slow u down so u can't just pressure, pressure, pressure, with yos. I wouldn't change the pilot all to much but i would make scr's pilot just a little slower and make the chariot run move slower, and for the love of god make it so that you can't pilot barrage out of any combo in the game. I would leave helping hand alone too.

Here’s my rework:
Barrage (Offensive) - A medium speed barraged that deals 1 damage for a medium amount of time.
Stand Barrage Finisher (Offensive) - The same as before.
Your Own Shadow (Defensive) - Decreases the size of your avatar’s hitbox for the entire time Y.O.S is active, and you can’t pose or do any damage while it’s active.
Helping Hand (Defensive) - The same as before, just that the buffs for your gang members are better while the buffs for you are worse.
Ethereal Souls (Defensive) - Has a long startup, but it can’t be interrupted. Once the move is activated, everyone in the perimeter except for you has their buffs, health, stands, and specs swapped around all over the place.
Auto-Pilot (Offensive) - SCR goes berserk, putting everyone including you to sleep. SCR then starts attacking random people with m1s. Some people will randomly have a status effect inflicted onto them.
Requiem (Offensive) - SCR throws its arrow, dealing 20 damage to anyone that isn’t in your gang. If they are in your gang and they have a requiem stand already or a stand that can’t evolve into requiem, nothing happens. If they are in your gang but they do have a stand that can evolve into a requiem stand, for about 7 seconds they have their stand evolved. All the moves are unlocked, but none of them are upgraded.
Arrow Slash - SCR slashes it’s arrow in front of it 3 times, with each hit dealing 6 damage and causing bleed.
Idk it’s pretty bad.
Option 1: Make it so CW wakes you up after you get hit, effectively giving you a free combo (Would require Arrow Barrage nerf)
Option 2: Make CW just do damage after an animation and then wakes you up
Option 3: Make SCR the only thing capable of moving during CW (Pilot) which should affect both the user and the opponent

To make it so arrow barrage isn't just a second barrage I think they should rework it into something like "arrow slashes" or something. You would do like 4 slashes with the arrow each doing like 5 damage, with 1 last slash doing like 10 damage and knocking down so you can't combo off it. You would also be able to parry the first hit like kick barrage. Balanced or nah?

To fix conquerors will I would make it a more beatdown type move, where the stand would do the normal bd windup that the other bd stands have, if it lands it would play a cutscene of the opponent falling asleep and slowly waking up in a new body, as they wake up they see chariot with the arrow before the opponents stand grabs them and slams them against the ground (dealing around 3/4ths of what the sptw beatdown would do) then an animation would play of them getting up from the cutscene. After the beatdown they will suffer either the loss of a leg or arm but 2 seconds of s once the bd ends. Just to keep it in line with canon it would still aoe sleep people, but nothing would come from that.

I would just remove the disforming body parts and make it so the person using scr after conquerers will cant move for like a second and they cant dot their combo, the "Your Own Shadow" move is pretty good so it shouldn't be nerfed, BUT they should put a cooldown on "Arrow barrage" so when you use it you can't barrage or fist barrage after, so it doesn't land like 3 barrages (200 dmg or so). There isn't much to change cause all of the 10 yr olds that have no idea what game balancing is and still play stand upright will leave YBA and it'll have less players because of that. You can't change much but if I'm wrong tell me.

If I was a yba dev and try to fix SCR. I would lower the time on CW for the person to get up and when you own shadow is used, I would just lower the damage on it when getting reflected on the emery and for ploit just give the thing a range of how far you can go or just getting ploit canel when someone is attacking. These are the things if I was a yba and would fix.

I think it would be cool if conqueror’s will actually did the primary thing SCR is known for and swapped bodies. It could put you in your opponent’s body with your own stand. If may people are around, it would scramble everybody into random bodies. Considering scr already has so many meta moves, it would be fine with a more wacky and fun one. It could also be good in things like SBR for mixing up a wiping squad because nobody will know who is who or which person is you. It could even last until death since having a different avatar is by no means game changing

Ok with this video I learned that i can block conquerors will... what would I do to "nerf" SCR would be:
-Make arrow barrage knocback the player far away when finishing or stopping the barrage half way.
-Make the start up of conquerors will a bit slower by 0.5 of a second.
-Make the counter have the same start up of GER counter.
-I would also remove the running on pilot mode and increase the basic walking speed (if needed to be faster "Your own shadow" it's always there to do that for you... rn pilot on SCR is just a easy way of catching anyone)
Honestly the damage is ok so no changes there... making the start up of CW increase more that half a second would make it easy to predict... a almost frame 1 counter that doesn't give you any "side effect" like cmoon or d4c:LT is just stupid so having a slower start up would make it a bit more fair... the arrow barrage just being a easy combo of 3 barrages it's just... what's the word im looking for... ah yes... it's D U M B.
If it has the same startup with GER's counter it becomes super bad. Counters are used to punish players for overextending their combos, with this you get punished for attempting to stop an enemy combo.

Cannot Be cancelled and only activates when someone is close to the player. Cooldown 1 minute and 45 seconds.

I remembered an idea I had for an SCR tweak but the devs didnt respond to me. Basically the tweak entails conqueror's will being replaced with a rage mode exclusive ability. This rage mode doesn't buff your dmg or give you any form of damage reduction and instead gives you a speed buff and restores body parts. It restores a body part for every person with a 15 stud (dash length) radius. It also takes away a limb from this in the afflicted area. This rage mode would be called 'soul mode'. Basically its a better version of shadow atmosphere.

I played YBA for a long time when requiems were the only stand evolution there was, I stopped playing after the halloween festival and thought "the game will still continue as before", seeing that SCR continues at the time that "I am absurdly destructive despite having support skills like buff or counter, stuns and a second barrege with the arrow"
I find it funny to remember why things are like that and not in a different way, who knows if the game had a different goal where, above all, people were not so badly expressive (Which is, it is impossible not to ask for toxicity)
Conquerers will being more inline with things like gravitational inversion and being a normal stun instead, maybe have a knockdown
Instead of conquerors will I would like to see them make SCR have a copying move (similar to how its able to copy BD in its reversal move). Its something that no other stand has and would be a fun replacement for CW. How this would work is that you would first need to land the move on them while in pilot mode (lets make it a pilot mode move to make the pilot mode not just an extension of your character), once the move is landed it will take a random move from the person's moveset, this move will do half the damage of the original but will have a CD reduction. If it is another damage reflection move or TS it should tell the user that the copying move has failed and make them wait the length of the CD to try again. It'd be a fun move to see and if not for SCR then they should go back to make custom stands again like KCR and CDR.
With this you Ironically nerf and keep the old cw by scr copying ts
I'd probably change conqueror's will to a new move called "Binding chains" if you hit your opponent with this move it damages and holds your opponent in place temporarily and you can use m1s and a heavy punch only. But it is cancellable or can be parried. But I'm not a scr sweat or a 1v1s daily farmer. so I'm not sure of another solution

Auto get-up after 8 punches during cw, add a cd between arrow, boxing, stand barrage, YoS ability start when the "air" effect is gone, A Helping Hand that wont increase defense, pilot that make players slow down by 15%, doesnt blur their screen, thats all i would do
Here a broken thing you can do with the stand:
Barrage into pilot, if the enemy barrage back, stop the barrage and the pilot then dash and use arrow barrage into fist barrage into jaw breaker.
If the enemy dont barrage back, just use arrow barrage with tour pilot.
If playing against another scr:

I'd change Your Own Shadow to only deflect the next move that hits you, however their stand/themselves will hurt their own body with equal the amount of damage it would normally do and unsummon their stand after, and you cannot pose. Conquerors Will makes any person nearby asleep for 8 seconds until the Chariot Requiem User uses a move (pose counts) during the duration the user cannot sprint.

Conquerors Will: I would keep everything the same, but get rid of the "take a nap" part, and give it like longer startup
Your Own Shadow: Slows you down when using it
Pilot: Just get rid of it entirely
Arrow Barrage: With pilot gone it's not broken anymore, but I would still make I slightly shorter but give it 0.1 more damage on each hit
