This could be a bit of an interesting build. GER + Vampirism. This can boost both, Bird and Scorpion damages. Also it is pretty overpowered when the person is frozen. I am not kidding this is very good.

It's a acual cheese stand once you land marionette control. My combo is 4 m1's, vamp freeze, 4 m1's then bloodsuck. Then you spam emerald barrier as it stun locks them into place once they get up and then I barrage them into more emeralds then Marionette control. Again 8 m1's then emerald splash and it's like a full 100 - 0 combo against anyone without vamp race or defence reduction moves
1. Dont let them breathe because they are weak 2. barrage when they get you with an inhale 3. dont forget to check their tears from chat log and tens of tags
Next build or bust: C-moon pluck Here's some tips for C-Moon pluck: Pierce or triple then Uppercut/Surface inversion is in no way true so don't even try. -After doing crescent slash immediately use pilot, run to them and use uppercut or surface inversion. (This is true because by the time the endlag of crescent is over they're still stunned) -You can confirm Grav. shift after thrust (unless they have strudiness 3) since Grav shift can hit people while ragdolled -If grav shift is off cooldown and you're mid combo, make sure to ragdoll them then use grav. shift for that sweet double damage on the second hits of uppercut and surface inversion. -A good combo that isn't that hard to pull off with C-Moon pluck: a few m1s > pierce > triple > crescent > pilot > uppercut > barrage > thrust > grav. shift > surface inversion > m1 > heavy punch or m2. m1 then heavy/m2 isn't true but since people mostly focus on blocking your surface inversion they're just going to hold block and won't be able to parry your heavy or m2. If they're smart enough however they can adapt to this and parry if if you keep doing it over and over. An actual true combo would be: a few m1s > pierce > crescent > pilot > uppercut > barrage > thrust > grav. shift > surface inversion > triple > thrust

Thing is, Spin on release was arguably the best spec in the game. It had two easy to land projectiles that stunned for ridiculously long. Combine that with the fact that wit max spin charge they get a damage increase (yes I know it's only 5 damage but that makes a huge difference. Like want me to explain? A stands barrage damage is considered "high" at 1.7 and decent at 1.5 see .2 damage difference but it still makes a difference.) it made it so that you had two stuns that did a boat load of damage. Now that they nerfed the stun of double spin balls which is basically spins entire thing. It sucks now which sucks cuz spin was and is still is my fav spec. Buff spin please :(
If we comparing barrrage damage increase to spin increase we better be conparing the whole damage increase, an average barrage damage is usually 1.3 so a 0.4 increase, considering a nornal fast barrage has 35 hits that would be a 14 damage increase total, applying the same logic we get a 21 damage increase for a 1.5 barrage and a 28 damage increase for a 1.7 barrage. Each upgrade gives an extra 7 damage increase and that is by no means small considering barrage is an essential move all the while barrage damage increase is a PASSIVE an extra 5 damage but leaving you vulnerable doesnt seem very good i'd rather spend that 5 second charge time to get 1 m1 and do more than 5 damage
The 2 damage example isn't valid for anything that isn't a barrage because a barrage has multiple hits. Like WAY too many hits which means that that 2 damage difference is multiplied by that many punches. Lets say a barrage has 20 hits(i dunno the exact number) that is 20 damage extra. Now it actually makes a difference unlike a move that does 25 damage and move that does 30 damage. Sure it is a benefit and makes a difference but when you have to sacrifice so much for it(the higher damage of hamon or the endurance of boxing) it is not worth it And the point still stands spin is currently in a horrible position and definitely requires a buff
twau pluck is a really good combo. A combo would be pierce strike into cresent slash, then the stun can let you use either pocket revolver or knives. I recommed knives because people usually bloxk the knives
Next build some would like is hp pluck (or vamp). its very fun to do all the mixups and you can escape time stop if you use joseph run and jump at the right tim
I actually used this build alot before skins even existed or had an idea to be made. Back when YBA was actually somewhat of a good game to me. Spin KCR was so good and my friends told me to get boxing but I hated to use boxing. I wasn't good at it at all. Skill issue for me tho, anyway I really enjoyed this combination before so I'm glad your covering it.
You should use sptw pluck next (little pluck combo: pierce strike into triple pierce strik and crescent and here is a lot others also you can true combo into bd with crescent slahs if you use the glitch or with pierce strike with the long hitbox (not sure it stills works)also to be honest it's a bad comment for my first one on your channel i love so much x)
If you are asking why is golden skin like this bc in sbr manga gyro basically uses this once to harden his skin and to deflect bullets (that's why i think it should ingore dmg from projectile)

Next Build or Bust imo: Star Platinum + Pluck. I've used this combo a lot and its absolutely nuts. The amount of combo extenders you have is insane (Star Finger, Inhale, Pierce Strike, maybe Cresent). Cresent Slash into Time Skip to Star Finger actually works and overall, this build is pretty good.
im pretty sure he suggested kcr spin cause it used to be a really old meta where spin was actually decent and could get you a lot of free combos especially with time erase but now its just an OK build after spin got gut punched and thrown into the dumpster (this was also when you couldnt block out of m1s)
Next Build or Bust idea: The hand Spin: I would like to see you suffer with absolutely everything being cancelled but old the hand spin was good so lets see how it holds up :D
You should really try GER Pluck in the next Build or Bust, They really complement each other as pluck has a lot of offensive options and pierce strike can block break while ger can heal and it can punish MASSIVELY if you get a block break (queue the pierce strike)
Next build or bust: TUSK ACT 1 BOXING you can almost confirm eye gouge off of focussed nail shot by nail slashing after the nail, then eye gouging, to then boxing barrage and jaw breaker.
How to fix spin : make the steel ball(not the multi steel ball) a bypass block move as it should be(basing on the manga). 2. Just yeet out golden skin and just make it like boxing's tough skin where u just have to upgrade it to get damage reduction. Boom spin is good now
Twau+Vamp would be nice to see, it has a good explosion confirm (blood suck into dash backwards, smoke grenade and revolver right after) also has amazing distancing move (ripper eyes) to do all the funny projectiles onto the person And of course, the freeze in timestop is also good for keeping your timestop resistant opponent in one place
Next Build: Tusk Act 2+Vampire Its really good because of the spamminess and you could get ta3 for better healing and glide but I personally use ta2 because of the looks and people tend to underestimate you, I've won against every stand several times with this build and its kinda stupid how effective it is.
Dunno if this is gonna make it to the top, highly doubt but here's a build I made up : Scary Monsters + Boxing You a literal tank + [Also no one plays scary monsters so highly doubt they know what to parry]
Next Build or Bust: 6p + Spin. I used to main it and found it pretty good. It can get annoying to know all your moves are blockable, but most of the yba community forgets they have an F key and usually won't block 6P.
Next Build or Bust: TWOH Vampire is a really underrated build, you can confirm heaven ascended smite off of freeze and if they get block broken use reality overwrite, if they don't use timestop, and any M1 based stand is usually decent with vampire because of the constant pressure it puts.
Next Build or Bust: SC Pluck. SC has insanely good synergy with pluck, such as being able to confirm million pricks off of pierce strike, and having very good abilities to use during the animation of Million Pricks, such as triple pierce and crescent slash. On top of that, using crescent slash during million pricks negates the knockback entirely, giving you a combo extension.
yeah but HAMON makes ger worse in terms of fighting because GER is bad at catching running enemies to if u have hamon u gonna need to always CHARGE and ya know Scarlet overdrive sux so u also dont have a gud block break like Boxing(but the DMG boost of HAMON+AWAKENING is nuts THO)
Next build or bust 4th times the charm. Anubis vampire, it’s perfect: it has ranged options more combo extenders and so more true combos and also the extremely good healing that increases survivability.
Hello, dear Eclipse. Here I have 2 ideas for next "Build or Bust" series. First one: cream vamp (Very good combos, heal, and huge dmg). Second: GER Pluck (insane dmg and heal, good combo potential, funny rtz)

I would say that spin is good with some things, like 6P or Tusk, but its bad with everything else. It really only works with stands that have mostly ranged moves, or absolutely no ranged moves. Also could you use White Snake + Vampire in the next Build or Bust?
This should be a fun SS Combo. KCR + Vamp. Time Erase into Freeze is braindead, and you can confirm Scythe out of it. Now, there are things that can occur when you do this: 1. The opponent doesn’t block, they lose an arm and you can combo them. 2. The opponent blocks, their block breaks, you M1 them, you Life Drain, you Reality Marble, and you can combo them.
5:15 Eclipse the reason he chose spin for kcr is probs cause he saw this kcr spin 1 shot combo video which went viral like a year ago when m1s were true so he probs thought it was still a build... but idk, it used to be good i guess cause m1s into steel ball then multi steel balls into dimension slash was true i think... also if you activated reality marble you could hit them with steel balls and get a free combo because they cant see you throw them, it has SOME strengths, but was a lot better before when spin was usable and could combo out of m1s which it cant do anymore, its a bust overall because of the nerfs spin got, but if they made it easier to combo with spin balls it would have some pretty good combos with reality marble, time erase and dimensional slash. Next Build or Bust: Six Pistols + Vampirism. This build combo is hella underated and I don't know why. When you hit someone with multishot you can follow up with the freeze move which allows you to hit them with an abysmal amount of damage if you know what you know what to do. Many people cry about fighting against this and I don't blame them. Just be lucky though that it ain't old Six Pistols because this build would've been much more scarier.
*Looks In eye*, KCR spin was meta back then when we used to have m1 stun. You could demolish anyone with m1s and multisteel ball with scythe and then catch them with steel ball, they would die in only 1 m1 that is why that guy suggested KCR spin.
next build or bust: White album + vampirizm. you skate arround them freeze them, if you hit you use flash freeze if you guard break you you use flash freeze and when they're stuck in the giant ice crystals you use vampire stingy eyes and continue the combo using barrage freeze again and drain
I’ve seen people with kcr spin kick absolute ass with this, but I also saw that it’s very hard for them because it takes a huge amount of skill and excessive spamming of spacebar
Can you try Hermit Purple + Vampire? The Rippy Laser Eyes are a awesome add for Hermit Purple and you can break people's block if they're blocking in the freezing and after that bloodsuck, and you can stay on their back after they get freezed so his stand can't turn around and barrage you directly.
Next build or bust: HP spin, it isn't good at all (like hp hamon) but it's fun, has a really good combo, sometimes a good defense and you can counter TS with joestar technique.
SPTW Hamon, it's zoom punch allows you to get a free skull crusher, scarlet overdrive can combo into platinum slam, and your m1 damage will be buffed by Hamon meaning you can do alot of damage in time stop, plus the beatdown
Next build should be cream vamp it’s a very cheesy stand and could just drain them to death since they most likely won’t have a leg due to the void surprise

Okay here’s some facts: steel balls and multi steel balls did less damage then an uppercut and 2 m1s back then (remember you can confirm m1s off of uppercut and mi1s confirmed into each other back then)

Thing is, Spin on release was arguably the best spec in the game. It had two easy to land projectiles that stunned for ridiculously long. Combine that with the fact that wit max spin charge they get a damage increase (yes I know it's only 5 damage but that makes a huge difference. Like want me to explain? A stands barrage damage is considered "high" at 1.7 and decent at 1.5 see .2 damage difference but it still makes a difference.) it made it so that you had two stuns that did a boat load of damage. Now that they nerfed the stun of double spin balls which is basically spins entire thing. It sucks now which sucks cuz spin was and is still is my fav spec. Buff spin please :(
It was broken before and clearly shouldn’t be reverted, but it should at least be viable
If we comparing barrrage damage increase to spin increase we better be conparing the whole damage increase, an average barrage damage is usually 1.3 so a 0.4 increase, considering a nornal fast barrage has 35 hits that would be a 14 damage increase total, applying the same logic we get a 21 damage increase for a 1.5 barrage and a 28 damage increase for a 1.7 barrage. Each upgrade gives an extra 7 damage increase and that is by no means small considering barrage is an essential move all the while barrage damage increase is a PASSIVE an extra 5 damage but leaving you vulnerable doesnt seem very good i'd rather spend that 5 second charge time to get 1 m1 and do more than 5 damage
Theres multiple hits in the barrage.
1.5 and 1.7 are a .2 difference per tic, so it's actually a huge damage since each barrage has like 30 tics
The 2 damage example isn't valid for anything that isn't a barrage because a barrage has multiple hits. Like WAY too many hits which means that that 2 damage difference is multiplied by that many punches. Lets say a barrage has 20 hits(i dunno the exact number) that is 20 damage extra. Now it actually makes a difference unlike a move that does 25 damage and move that does 30 damage. Sure it is a benefit and makes a difference but when you have to sacrifice so much for it(the higher damage of hamon or the endurance of boxing) it is not worth it
And the point still stands spin is currently in a horrible position and definitely requires a buff
twau pluck is a really good combo. A combo would be pierce strike into cresent slash, then the stun can let you use either pocket revolver or knives. I recommed knives because people usually bloxk the knives

I actually used this build alot before skins even existed or had an idea to be made. Back when YBA was actually somewhat of a good game to me. Spin KCR was so good and my friends told me to get boxing but I hated to use boxing. I wasn't good at it at all. Skill issue for me tho, anyway I really enjoyed this combination before so I'm glad your covering it.
You should use sptw pluck next (little pluck combo: pierce strike into triple pierce strik and crescent and here is a lot others also you can true combo into bd with crescent slahs if you use the glitch or with pierce strike with the long hitbox (not sure it stills works)also to be honest it's a bad comment for my first one on your channel i love so much x)

If you are asking why is golden skin like this bc in sbr manga gyro basically uses this once to harden his skin and to deflect bullets (that's why i think it should ingore dmg from projectile)

Next Build or Bust imo: Star Platinum + Pluck. I've used this combo a lot and its absolutely nuts. The amount of combo extenders you have is insane (Star Finger, Inhale, Pierce Strike, maybe Cresent). Cresent Slash into Time Skip to Star Finger actually works and overall, this build is pretty good.
im pretty sure he suggested kcr spin cause it used to be a really old meta where spin was actually decent and could get you a lot of free combos especially with time erase but now its just an OK build after spin got gut punched and thrown into the dumpster (this was also when you couldnt block out of m1s)

You should really try GER Pluck in the next Build or Bust, They really complement each other as pluck has a lot of offensive options and pierce strike can block break while ger can heal and it can punish MASSIVELY if you get a block break (queue the pierce strike)

Next build or bust: TUSK ACT 1 BOXING you can almost confirm eye gouge off of focussed nail shot by nail slashing after the nail, then eye gouging, to then boxing barrage and jaw breaker.
How to fix spin : make the steel ball(not the multi steel ball) a bypass block move as it should be(basing on the manga). 2. Just yeet out golden skin and just make it like boxing's tough skin where u just have to upgrade it to get damage reduction. Boom spin is good now

Twau+Vamp would be nice to see, it has a good explosion confirm (blood suck into dash backwards, smoke grenade and revolver right after) also has amazing distancing move (ripper eyes) to do all the funny projectiles onto the person
And of course, the freeze in timestop is also good for keeping your timestop resistant opponent in one place
Next Build or Bust: TA4 + Pluck. The combo starting potential with nails and the comboing you can do with pluck is nuts together.
Next Build: Tusk Act 2+Vampire Its really good because of the spamminess and you could get ta3 for better healing and glide but I personally use ta2 because of the looks and people tend to underestimate you, I've won against every stand several times with this build and its kinda stupid how effective it is.

Next Build or Bust: 6p + Spin. I used to main it and found it pretty good. It can get annoying to know all your moves are blockable, but most of the yba community forgets they have an F key and usually won't block 6P.
Next Build or Bust: TWOH Vampire is a really underrated build, you can confirm heaven ascended smite off of freeze and if they get block broken use reality overwrite, if they don't use timestop, and any M1 based stand is usually decent with vampire because of the constant pressure it puts.

SC has insanely good synergy with pluck, such as being able to confirm million pricks off of pierce strike, and having very good abilities to use during the animation of Million Pricks, such as triple pierce and crescent slash.
On top of that, using crescent slash during million pricks negates the knockback entirely, giving you a combo extension.

I would say that spin is good with some things, like 6P or Tusk, but its bad with everything else. It really only works with stands that have mostly ranged moves, or absolutely no ranged moves.

Time Erase into Freeze is braindead, and you can confirm Scythe out of it. Now, there are things that can occur when you do this:
1. The opponent doesn’t block, they lose an arm and you can combo them.
2. The opponent blocks, their block breaks, you M1 them, you Life Drain, you Reality Marble, and you can combo them.

5:15 Eclipse the reason he chose spin for kcr is probs cause he saw this kcr spin 1 shot combo video which went viral like a year ago when m1s were true so he probs thought it was still a build... but idk, it used to be good i guess cause m1s into steel ball then multi steel balls into dimension slash was true i think... also if you activated reality marble you could hit them with steel balls and get a free combo because they cant see you throw them, it has SOME strengths, but was a lot better before when spin was usable and could combo out of m1s which it cant do anymore, its a bust overall because of the nerfs spin got, but if they made it easier to combo with spin balls it would have some pretty good combos with reality marble, time erase and dimensional slash.

Next Build or Bust: Six Pistols + Vampirism. This build combo is hella underated and I don't know why. When you hit someone with multishot you can follow up with the freeze move which allows you to hit them with an abysmal amount of damage if you know what you know what to do. Many people cry about fighting against this and I don't blame them. Just be lucky though that it ain't old Six Pistols because this build would've been much more scarier.

Can you try Hermit Purple + Vampire? The Rippy Laser Eyes are a awesome add for Hermit Purple and you can break people's block if they're blocking in the freezing and after that bloodsuck, and you can stay on their back after they get freezed so his stand can't turn around and barrage you directly.

Next build or bust: HP spin, it isn't good at all (like hp hamon) but it's fun, has a really good combo, sometimes a good defense and you can counter TS with joestar technique.
Helpful tip for fellow KCR players: bind time skip to Z like other time stands, and put Erase on the Y key. It dramatically helps

SPTW Hamon, it's zoom punch allows you to get a free skull crusher, scarlet overdrive can combo into platinum slam, and your m1 damage will be buffed by Hamon meaning you can do alot of damage in time stop, plus the beatdown
