- Never has there been a being with such a stingy devotion to arrows. Ethereal steps, soul swapping, supercharged stands, stands turning against their users, swapping souls with unknown creatures, bubbling, relentless chasing, sun soul orb...THERE'S A LOT.

There’s something hauntingly sad about Silver Chariot Requiem. All it is trying to to do is carry out Polenareff’s final request, get the arrow away from Diavolo.

Lettuce Most likely the true reason Chariot Requiem is like this is because Polnareff wanted his legs back, so he got a stand which would switch his bodies with someone else who would have legs. But instead that thought made Chariot Requiem go berserk and it started killing everyone. The true reason Chariot Requiem would’ve been walking was to find a suitable “host”

Requiem Stands are the embodiment of the wielder’s current drive or goal. At the moment Polnareff pierce his stand with the arrow, his deepest will was for Diavolo, or anyone else, to never possess the arrow, and that included himself. A being that will kill you for getting close to the arrow, and will even force your own soul to try and kill you for getting too close

One of the most painful realizations is that Silver Chariot had a mind of own. It felt sadness, happiness, and all other human emotions. With that said, the amount of pain they must've felt when Polnareff died is undescribable.

Its really weird to consider that, a stand from one of the Stardust Crusaders split itself from it's user by transforming into something completely else and then perished, while the user is technically alive and standless.

Silver Chariot was my absolute favourite from the start, and really liked Polnareff.
I never thought Silver Chariot would change to this. He does not have anyone with him now, just one job: protecting the arrow. The best character development...

Polnareff could just be immune to almost all attacks while he just shoots you, and in the manga it seems like Chariot Requiem can actually damage things by just touching them somehow, so if Polnareff was able to command Chariot Requiem, he'd be crazy strong.
He’d be able to kill anyone just by making them swap to a weaker body. He could even defeat Ultimate Kars.
@@jamescampbell2353 I don't think he's able to control who switches bodies with who, since even when he wasn't dying Requiem put everyone to sleep automatically, Polnareff'd probably be able to order Requiem if his soul doesn't leave his body but I don't think to that extent.
Would totally beat Kars, though, since any body would already be easy to kill and even Ultimate Kars's body would probably be put to sleep, but then some random person or animal is in Kars's body, Polnareff might be able to undo Requiem's transformation like when he took the arrow from it the first time but it's unclear how that goes, but if he can then no one returns to Kars's body and it's dead without a soul.
CR is already lowkey one of the strongest stands in JoJo, that'd just be too much

It's sad that silver chariot was a stand that was full of emotions very active in fights and when he got pierced by the requiem arrow he just became an emotionless stand determined to carry on his users final request

i read this fan theory somewhere that SCR was actually trying to take the arrow to Jotaro to keep it safe because to its knowledge Jotaro is the strongest stand user and a good person generally.

this is by far the scariest stand ever. it doesnt erase stuff, it doesnt hide in mirrors, it doesnt make your passed loved ones try to kill you. it just... walks. it can turn your own stand against you, it can pursue you endlessly, it can swap souls, it can merge you with creatures from other dimensions.
It's really sad too it wanders without a user because polanareff died

@Ish Moore good argument. But if Chariot Requiem was Polnareff's last request it would to be to protect the arrow OR give it to his most trusted person aka Jotaro. But I haven't watched part 5 in a long time, so my memory is a bit fuzzy
I like how Chariot Requiem’s threat level is only high because of the mystery surrounding its ability. Once Diavolo figured out how to counter it, the stand was literally harmless, and it’s an extremely easy counter to access. But if you don’t figure out the symbolism behind it in time, you’ll basically be out of commission within the hour.
It can only be defeated during the day, and it's only that easy to beat due to plot. Otherwise it's an invincible stand that is unkillable. Realistically SCR should be scary as fuck, but araki failed to deliver on this requiem stand.

The fact that chariot cries as it dies at 0:26 is heartbreaking. It’s only made worse that SCR then devotes the rest of its life to carrying out the last order polnareff gave it: Protect the arrow. Chariot would never again see it’s own master.

the menacing part about SCR is that he just will casually and drop his arrow and if pick it up no matter where u r, no matter what condition he is in, not even if u were going to give it back anyway this man will instantly start sprinting at u at mach 5.

And we never got to see how he actually attacks after he rushes towards you, he always got interrupted beforehand.
Also at 4:10 in the manga he actually leaves a huge gash on Bruno's leg without even touching him just by sprinting besides him towards Polnareff, unfortunately they didn't include that in the anime for some reason, it really made Chariot seem even scarier.

Silver Chariot went from "mildly funny looking knight with shiny armor and a rapier" to "soulless musketeer from the dead with an aura so dark you'd literally die from fright"
A really cool fan-theory was that chariot isn't just going anywhere or randomly moving around, it's main intention was to get the arrow to Jotaro- the fact that Polnareff trusts Jotaro SO much that I actually believe this theory is canon
If Jotaro tried to pick up the arrow, would he and Star Platinum just angrily glare at eachother and wait for the other to move first so they can ora ora them

The voice actors for the whole team really proved their talent in this episode. They all completely changed their acting to match the speech pattern of the character inside the bodies (Giorno talking like Narancia and vice versa, and so on). Mista and Trish were freakin' hilarious.

Reason why I chose six pistols is because they've managed to display a wide variety of emotion. They've shown playfulness to one another, anger, happiness, sadness, etc. much more than any of the stands I've seen.
Though to be fair, I don't see too many stands that are "free-thinking", and able to commentate and be emotive on their own. Not sure why. We should see more.
(I haven't read any of the parts past part 5, so if there's any of those stands up ahead, don't let me know, I want a surprise.)

My favorite sound effect from SCR is the stepping sound, it sounds so ominous, combined with the SCR theme, it just gives an air of something unknowable

Jokes aside, the fact that SC is super fast and deals a lot of damage within a short period of time, and then CR being the complete polar opposite, being super slow and methodical, his power effecting people around him without him actually attacking, it just makes CR all the more terrifying.

This actually answered my question whether if Giorno constantly retain GER after the battle.
Which is no. Cuz the moment Polnareff took the arrow away of Chariot Requiem, it reverted back and Polnareff had to stab it again during Diavolo battle.
So, I think the same can be said with GE. It probably reverted back, but since Giorno has the arrow, he can always just stab GE to turn to GER anytime he wants.
I think in the novel, after Part 5, it is also shown Boss Giorno still using normal GE. Although the Novel wasn't written by Araki so it still kinda vague.
But now It's clear to me.

When I was younger I always thought that Chariot Requiem would have a wailing sound to it. Like the sound of a man desperately searching for help but couldn't get it. So he would search.
