Hike next to Odontotos train track, Diakopto to Kalavryta Railway, Greece | no commentary

We did this hike along the Diakopto-Kalavryta Railway last summer as part of the #E4 trail through the #Peloponnese. Chris (Rosemary) took a lot more videos than I expected so we decided to make another video dedicated solely to this portion of the hike. This is a very scenic and adventurous walk but it's also possible to ride the train and enjoy the views. The railway passes through Vouraikos Gorge, the village of Zachlorou, and forests and valleys.
Hiking the railway from Diakopto to Kalavryta takes around 7 hours and is a moderate to difficult hike. The ground is mostly loose stones which made it difficult to traverse.

hello! yes, there is enough room to move to the side when the train comes everywhere EXCEPT the tunnels. there are several tunnels that you have to walk through, so you have to be aware of the train times to make sure youre not going to be in the tunnel when the train comes. hope that helps!
