I was in the same areas this summer also. Might of passed each other somewhere. I like the trails around the lakes in Grafton. Lake George village was too crowded for me, had to find a quieter spot. Was in the Catskills earlier this summer.
Hey! Thanks for your comment. It's very possible that we did pass eachother. I'll have to check out more trails in Grafton next time I'm there. And I agree, Lake George town is often much too crowded. We went to the northern part of the lake near Ticonderoga :) Sounds like you had a nice summer!

hello! yes, there is enough room to move to the side when the train comes everywhere EXCEPT the tunnels. there are several tunnels that you have to walk through, so you have to be aware of the train times to make sure youre not going to be in the tunnel when the train comes. hope that helps!
