I was there with you! I felt very peaceful while watching. Türkiye and Greece super similar!! Those villages, mountains, sea. Very familiar. Chris is a such a handsome and gentle guy. I like the background songs. And it was very nice to notice the sound of "horizontal" fish in the sea :D Greece is great country! I was enjoyed a lot.

A very tiny part of Peloponnese but a beautiful video. I hope you enjoyed a lot. PS. In May or so the E4 along the Cretan south coast along the Lefka Ori is for example also incredible. You hike along a wonderful coast, and high mountains that instantly rise out of the sea up to 2500 meters. The nature scenery is very diverse, mountain and sea scenery is wonderfully blended, and on top of lefka ori is like a whole world on its own. Like a Martian landscape. But you can be in fertile fields, the only palmforests in Europe, all the way up to alpine moutain beauty. And then I only describe a small part of just Crete alone. The E4 on Crete is 320 km. And the section I decribed is just one. But all of Crete in totality is very diverse and different all around

Thank you so much for this recommendation! Crete is definitely on our list to visit and to hike. I'll save the area of Lefki Ori so I remember when we finally do our Crete trip 😄 it sounds otherworldly

@@BagofRosemaryTravel with pleasure. But if you love hiking, Greece is a hikers paradise.
      -Hike the Aoos Gorge
-The Vikos gorge which is one of the 3 deepest in the world
      - wonderful hiking in Tzoumerka mountains
-hike to the dragon lake on mount Tymfi
      - The epirus hiking trail, i think is 370km long
-the mount Olympus also with 200km+ or so varying hiking trails
      - hiking mount Athos, the only monastic state on earth. You can only enter as a man and permission required. But also for very different reasons otherworld
      - acheloos valley
      -Evrytania, Tymfristos, chelidona, Karpenisi
      -Agrafa mountains
-pindus mountains in general which goes from North Greece to central Greece
      - Giona, Vardousia, parnassus mountains
      -Meteora
And the goes on and on and on.
And with every region or mountain there are so many spectacular sceneries. Like Tzoumerka mountains with many waterfalls, springs like Verliga and so on
These areas that I 1,2 3 quickly pointed out, are all on the mainland. As 20 Greek gorgeous islands take 70% of all the fame ,while countless other Greek islands and countless gorgeous spots on the mainland are lesser or nearly entirely unknown. Watch some videos, info and pictures in all points I mentiond and it will 100% inspire
