So what happens if someone is at 29k and the only one in tenpai, now they have 32k but the game doesn't end. Now someone with say 28100 wins a 2k points hand from someone. Now this player won a hand and is above 30 k. But they're still behind the player with 32k. So what happens? 32k player wins? 30100 player wins because they scored "above the target points with a winning hand, then the game ends immediately" and 32k is 2nd place? Or game goes on maybe?
It appears that the description on Arcturus is mistaken. I just checked Tenhou's manual, and it states that ryuukyoku can end the game if a player ends up above 30k. However, in the case that the dealer gets renchan (like if they were also tenpai), if they are not in 1st place, then the game continues. Dealer renchan takes priority over ending the game upon hitting the target score in sudden death rounds.
