Hi Nick, you can use the motion tracking via the DJI Ronin App I did test it and found it okay, at times lagging. If you want to focus there are two ways: via the Panasonic image app,, which is not superb or buy the focus wheel. Hope this answers your questions
Was following along perfectly until I got into the app. On the balance test the app is continually giving me the error message "Gimbal incline insufficient..Balance test cannot be completed if the gimbal is not held at an incline, or the angle of the incline is insufficient. Insure the gimbal is held at an incline between 15 and 45 degrees before starting the test" Needless to say I have repeatedly held the gimbal at an angle and restarted both the app and the gimbal several times. Cant move past this step in the app. Any idea where I went wrong?
So can you use Dji app for recording from G7 and use all other features like follow mode tracking etc with G7 on Dji app? How would we connect G7 to Dji app?

It is in terms of Stabilization and easy of use. The downside is connecting the Gimbal and camera with a cable, to be able to remote control the recording button and pull focus. In the next episode I'll elaborate on it and will show a possible easy workaround. In terms of Stabilization, app en controlling the Gimbal with the joystick, perfect and suits my needs

Hi there thank you ofr the question. I had the m2 as well and returned it. The Ronin SC balances well and with the cable you can use it. Buy the focuswheel additional you need it. Active track is a bit of challenge

That is such a good question. It is not a ordinary USB for sure. I struggle with the cables as well. Currently researching and will come back it once I have the answer. I know it is not of help, but be patient %) and keep the cash in your pocket. Ps: I am like you a beginner :)

I am not sure. If you look at the compatibility list it will be of the GH4 is on it. I am happy with the SC and wont consider the latest and newest gimbal from DJI:)
I never owned the ffz2500 but when I mounted my fz-82 it balances and it worked in terms of connecting. However the telezoom can, I suspect, cause difficulties in terms of the balancing

No i havent but it think you should be fine. The trick to connect is the cable #9 that you have to buy additional. Not sure if it works to be honest. Is the GH4 or the compatibility list?
I'm having the same set up but all my videos are full of micro jitters despite balancing and auto tuning. Are you experiencing the same issue? Thinking about returning it :(
The balancing I have admit took some time before all three axis were balanced. It is tedious I found. Via the Ronin app I adjusted the motor settings (via auto) after that I haven't experienced any micro jitters
Amazing video Paul, really. I'm about to get a gimbal, never owned one in the past. The question is: how easy is to mount/dismount it? My idea is to swap between this and gorilla pod all the time, by just having both of them in my backpack. So I will do some gimbal shots, then tripod things, then mount the camera again in the gimbal.. is that a horrible idea? Because I see that balancing videos/tutorials, etc, take around 15 minutes to achieve the perfect balance.. so I have to go trhough it every time I want to mount it? Or can you leave the setup kind of "balanced" ready? Thanks!
The mounting is not that much of a problem once you did you initial balancing and keep the same lens. Once you change lens you have to rebalance. If you own one camera I would say that you can use your gimbal for certain shots as a tripo, but not all. Additionally it depends on the sliding plate of your gimbal and your tripod plat. If they are conpatible it might or could work. I wouldnt take that risk
I had some problems in the beginning but the G7 now works perfectly on the gimbal. You need to manually calibrate the gimbal takes some tweaking but it works

I had that too and if you go to the app and go autocorrect gimbal parameters it balance.the engine towards the payload. Bizarre indeed but it works

What are your settings for the g7?
You mean the camera or gimbal settings?
I meant the gimbal settings, When I auto check it it says my tilt and pan are off, but gimbal works fine. (I also have a small rode mic, and hood on)
I had a similar message if I recall correctly it is the y-axis. I adjusted it slightly and the error message disappeared

Than the #9 cable should connect you Lumix G7. Balancing shouldn't be aproblem either. Again assuming here. Never had the rs2 still happy with the sc
