    My first bike at 15 was a ktm 250 exc and I loved it. Super fun, fast, and actually great to learn on. At first I just turned the power valve down until I was used to it and learned body position etc.

I struggle on my mums lowered 250 just because of the height. I can't do pivot turns easy or log hopping:( maybe I'll get a 250 and lower it quite a bit. for now I borrow my friends bike for big rides

Going from a mini cycle to a 250f especially with how much power and how good they make them today is a huge step

    Hi MX!!! Thank you for your video! Great job! What do you think about Chinese dirtbikes? For example, Kayo. The cheap segment. Can you recommend it to a beginner in enduro sport? What is its handling? And in general, what is your opinion about Chinese dirtbikes?

    • @billymatherson3602
      @billymatherson3602 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Would depend on your skill level and or comfort level on a heavier faster bike. If you’re just starting out maybe just go for a 230cc air cooled trail bike or 125cc - 150cc 2 stroke. If you know what you’re doing and go to the shop and feel comfortable on it tho then go for it!

      Yea it would be fine as long as you have ridden bikes in the past, I’m 5’11 and 146 pounds and I ride a 450, as long as you are comfortable with the bike you will be fine.

    at the moment im riding a 2011 yz125 with longer gearing to about 125kph and its just not cutting it for my introduction into racing cross country, like coming out of tight single tracks into a fire road where you hold it pinned top gear for 3 mins straight and then into fast rough as nuts stuff. the 125 cant keep up in the straights or fast section but exels in the tight twisty stuff.
    Im looking to buy a brand new 2023 bike but im torn between the 2-stroke and 4-stroke and also the dodgy gearboxes that yamaha have or the not so great suspension of the ktms. Im thinking either yz250x or 350xc-f but then theres also the yz250fx and the 250xc-f. Like do i need the 350 for the low end grunt or if thats the case do i go with the yz250x, and what about the debate between the ktm and yamaha 4-stroke. Idk im just confused and dont know what i need. if it helps im doing the brookton rounds and orcwa racing series in western australia, and maybe a few mx races in between. im also 17yr 70kg 6 foot

    When I was 15 last year I’ve been working and I bought a ttr125l as my first bike then I sold it a month later and bought a 2006 yz250f anniversary edition this was around June last year and I was like 5’8 and like 185 pounds and it was perfect then In December of last year I bought a 2006 R6 anniversary edition also as my first street bike and like 3 weeks ago I sold my yz250f for a 2016 Yz450f anniversary edition all my bikes have been Yamahas and the anniversary edition haha, I’m about 175 now and 5’11. Is the 450 too much power? Yes. Will I ever use it to its max potential? No. So then what’s the point? POWAA BABYYY I love cracking dank power nooners around my neighborhood
