In a similar vein to 'Round Midnight', his 1996 take on 'The Music of Herbie Nichols' is breathtaking - well worth seeking out!
I have the record "Spinning Song" by Herbie Nichols played by Duck Baker with signature and dedication, it is an authentic masterpiece, a record that never tires me and never ceases to amaze me. I also have some of his scores but .. they are really challenging and complicated to play!
