  • Heavy Water Spots On Glass!!! This Is What I Used To Easily Remove Them!! In this video I share what I use to easily remove heavy water spots and hard mineral deposits on automobile glass. The Sonax Glass Polish allows you to deep clean your glass, improving overall visibility! This extremely fine glass polish scours glass surfaces, without scratching, which leaves behind a clean smooth surface. This unique formula will remove acid rain, hard water, road film, sap, bird droppings, water spots and even fine to medium scratches from your glass! It is ideal for use on windshields and exterior glass, but you should avoid tinted windows and other coated glass surfaces.
Sonax Glass Polish can be found on Amazon And Detailed Image.

Paint protection film (PPF, also called clear bra, clear film or clear paint film) is a thermoplastic urethane often self-healing film applied to painted surfaces of a new or used car in order to protect the paint from stone chips, bug splatters, and minor abrasions. This film is also used on airplanes, RVs, cell phones, electronics, screens, motorcycles, and many other areas.

I tried a regular firm foam pad and a simple polish, Menzerna 3800 and it cleaned it all up very easy.

What a lucky ass job😂 I’ve done water spot removal jobs that I spent 2 hours on and never got anywhere close to perfect job. Polished first, then used a scrub pad and pure acid water spot remover, 3 minutes each window, rinseless washed em then polished again and just had to deal with it. It’s bugged me ever since!

The sprinkler system by me on Long Island 🏝️ ruins the glass on the cars that park in range of it. The hard water is terrible I see it on a lot of vehicles especially on one side by the grass.Excellent video Brian 💎👊🏼

I’m always on the lookout for an effective glass polish. I see it’s Cerium oxide based. I use pure Cerium Oxide to polish scratched glass but not to remove water spots. This must be a blend of other polishes with it. Would you also recommend, when using a cerium oxide product to
1: confine the pads and towels ( if you don’t toss them) to these jobs only and separate wash ?
    2) After polishing, Wash the car with a minimum of a foam bath, followed up with a light contact wash to remove any cerium oxide contamination ?

Why not use a rayon pad directly instead of wool or microfibre pad since glass doesn't have any clear coat to worry about?

Add a fan or 2, cooling the glass - will save you a lot of time waiting the glass to cool on its own

Hi Brian, you made a comment regarding the concern about building up heat especially on the windshield glass due to the lamination that sits between the glass. But doesn’t glass get extremely hot when just sitting in the direct sun too. Are you saying a polishing action could get this even hotter? Thx

with glass like that you figure the paint would be etched to, wonder if it's still factory paint or was it re cleared. BTW check out them arm muscles, all those years of working that polisher, who needs the gym.

I'm not so sure about it distorting the glass. I live in southern AZ and in full sun at 115 degrees, glass gets much hotter, and none of my glass has distortions after all these years.
