Great game, was very close to adding it to my list but opted for wind waker as the non switch game as I felt it has a more friendly inviting style for newbies.
@@BrainsAche i didn’t consider art style. I actually think I find it more interesting than wind waker as much as I like skyward sword. I’m putting aside my opinion that after ocarina of time and Majora’s mask wind waker was different to look at is the best way I can put it here .
I think you need to take into account what games would be interesting for early players. I know I was not interested in playing zelda 1 when I first started.
Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it. I do feel I could have maybe given examples of similar games perhaps for each recommendation. Maybe a brief overview of each of the games too. Will definitely take this on board for next time 🙂
A Link to the Past is a bit on the tough side. I would play the Oracles series first. I'm not a fan of the first Zelda game. It doesn't hold up that well for me. WHY DID YOU NOT MENTION THE ORACLE GAMES!?
I can agree somewhat and respect your points and opinion there. 🙂 I really do like the Oracle games and was considering adding them. To me personally they always felt best played after lttp and la. Plus although they don’t need to, some newcomers may feel pressured from the idea that they might need to play both. I do appreciate your comments though 🙂
@@zachtwilightwindwaker596 it does make more sense tbh with how oracle ended, but it was revised that they take place after LA some years ago now, so it’s all up in the air now! I was always a fan of the idea that the games were the same story, just told differently. Like an actual legend. Truth be told you can start anywhere to be honest, these were just my picks 🙂
I’d have to recommend twilight princess. It’s a that’s very forgiving to new players.

@@BrainsAche Awakening happens after the Oracle games.
