Nice review, thank you.
I love how dark moon skips the Poltergust 4000 and goes right to 5000 because the Poltergust 4000 was in Mario kart ds. Really makes you question the Mario timeline
I started playing AC:NH a few years back when I got my Switch Lite and enjoy it even more on my regular Switch which I got this week for $399 down from the $469 RRP hooked up in the dock to my Samsung Odyssey G51C gaming monitor.
My list 1.scarlet and violet(i played it) 2.sword and shield(i played it) 3. Let's go Pikachu (i played it) 4. brilliant diamond (i played it) Never played legends Arceus
Let's go is kinda overrated
How can I 100% the game now since I dont have the online service at the moment? I need the scarescraper ghosts but now I have to pay to get 100% as opposed to on the 3DS
@@superjumpbros64 a bit of an oversight on Nintendo it seems 🙁 However, I believe they have a 7 day free trial for the online service through the Eshop or through mynintendo so that’s a possible option for you at the moment (if you do sign up, don’t forget to cancel the auto renewal!) 🙂hope that helps
@@BrainsAche 👍
This game is a total gem I love it
Now all we need is the 1st game to come out aswell 😄
@@BrainsAche If that happens the Switch would be the ultimate system to play Luigi's Mansion on
I love this game!
Really happy it’s on switch! 😀
Yeah, suprisingly it is very good and addictive game! Even if you are a boomer with bad aim (like me), you get a lot from it. Gyro aiming helps and you can play melee characters! Game is welcoming, matches are fast. BTW Good job getting on my homepage as recommendation. I won't subscribe (yet) but props to you for good content and presentation! Wish you success, stay patient and keep the grind ;)
Many thanks for the comment! Glad you’re enjoying the game, and the content! Whether it’s views, likes, subscribers, comments etc I appreciate everything so thank you very much and enjoy your day 😊
Star Fox Assault remake
I would be happy with that 🙂
It’s goated full stop
I would absolutely love to see Super Mario Galaxy 2. I kind of forgot that since we’re in this sort of remake and remaster era of the Switch, that it’s still possible for them to give us a HD version of this game. Imagine a full HD remake. I’m skeptical about Xenoblade X, because they’ve said before that it would be too expensive to port and maybe not worth it, but I would love to finally experience that game as it feels weird to have not played it as an avid Xenoblade fan.
Galaxy 2 is one of the games I am expecting the most from the direct. 😊
The way you edit your videos is really fun!
Thanks so much for that, means a lot 😊
In terms of 3rd Party? ACE. ATTORNEY. 7. Curious what's been taking so long.
Nice pick, could be the time!
Im not picky about the 30 fps, just the annoyance that comes with the frame window for superguards or power bounce
obviously lol
YES GOLDEN SUN PLS god I want that series to get love so bad oml
😍
I sure hope Geno and Mallow deserve to be playable in an enhanced port of Mario Sports Mix, and so as a few others. Also, Geno should get his own spin-off game like Snufkin!
One day! 🙂
Legends Arceus was the best main series game on Switch because it was something different. Lets Go was my least favorite, the controls suck. Sword and Shield was decent. Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl brought me back to Pokemon, I like it more than the original. Scarlet and Violet if it wasnt rushed could have been the best, but its just okay.
You gotta remember though this is a rerelease. Lots of folks, like me, have the original, love and emulate it. So sixty dollars for the same game should be taken into consideration
They should have made the sea mammals and marine reptiles smarter, being able to go into the surface and see them jumping.
Loving it so far besides some minor gripes. Like the unskippable conversations and some sound effects being changed for seemingly no reason. Once I turned on the classic music badge, my enjoyment skyrocketed, and I don't see myself turning it off except to see what the new songs sound like from time to time. I'm giving it a solid 9/10 with room for improvement. Looking forward to the inevitable remaster of PM64.
Really liking the new music but nothing beats the classic ones for sure. I would love PM64 to be remastered 😍
I don’t think Paper Mario 64 will get remastered, it can already be played on Switch and would feel like a downgrade in comparison to TTYD
True but one can dream 😉
I think the rougeport remaster was done really well. A couple of the other remasters were good too (Doopliss), but yeah, a lot of the original songs had so much more charm. The one thing that drives me nuts is they changed the thousand year door sound when you bring another star too it to something really bland and the OG OST badge doesn't fix it
If they would combined the endless ocean game with dredge game that be awesome get best of both worlds
🙂 Promo-SM
Hold up, 91 subs!? That number needs to increase right now. Quality content mate! Hope this comment helps with the algorithm 😊
Legend! Much appreciated 😎
It's a graphics tech demo released at the tail end of the console's lifespan.
From what other people have said, it does feel like they could have maybe taken more time on the game and waited till ‘switch 2’ to release it as a launch title. But for what it is, I’m enjoying it so far 🙂
SOOOOO Subnautica but not fun...gotcha
It is nothing like Subnautica, idk why people need to continously compare the two when they are complete polar opposites, this game clearly emphasizes on exploring and admiring the beauty of the ocean and discovery, something you play to relax and De-stress after a long day or to just escape whereas Subnautica is a survival game where you build and craft, the only thing they have in common is exploration and taking place in the ocean even then one is on Earth and the other on an alien world other than that everything else is completely different, two different games completely, that is not to say this game is flawless but its like comparing apples to oranges with Endless ocean and Subnautica.
@@kaijufan2001 Well said. I love Subnautica. I love Endless Ocean. They're very different series, and I play them for very different reasons.
Great review. I'm a huge fan of the first two games in this series. I'm also enjoying this one. It's not perfect, and it does lack a lot of the features of the second game, but the core experience is there. That core experience includes swimming around, exploring underwater environments, scanning and learning about marine life, collecting treasure, and if you're a bit obsessed, trying to fill out the photo album with decent pictures of every species in the game. This game definitely isn't for everyone, but those looking for pure relaxation might just find it here.
Many thanks 🙂 I’m still having fun with this and will definitely try the older games at some point too.
If you're interested at all in at least some of the concepts presented in this game, I'd definitely try playing the second game (Either on wii or emulated.) It was one of the more formative games of my childhood and clearly had a lot of love poured into it. I'd say Luminous is one of those games that would be great as a proof of concept- were it not for the other two games before it that already proved what this game could have been about. Fun fact: The second game featured Satoru Iwata as one of the two game directors.
I will definitely be trying out the older games at some point. That's cool to hear that Satoru Iwata was a part of it. :) Can see what you mean with the concept part. Thinking on it more, it almost feels like they should have held back with Luminous and had it as a launch title for 'switch 2', allowing more time for work to be done. Still having fun though!
"...let's *dive* right in..." I see what you did there. 😉
🤭
I think this should have been 20 to $25. Sold as a spin-off with the clear focus on multiplayer dives. That would have made a lot of the lack of content feel a lot better. As somebody who did play the last game, it had a much wider array of handcrafted levels and features. There was far more interaction with animals, other characters, you had a base of operations and could head to the surface, you could train dolphins to do tricks and find things for you, you could take animals you found and customize your own aquarium with them There's just a lot that is missing here, someone else said it best This one feels more like pokémon snap underwater. But there's still a tranquil charm to it and if you have an interest in marine biology, it's probably at the very least worth it on a sale. Especially if you also just like to shut your brain off and do something chill with a podcast in the background
It is a little disappointing that none of that stuff was in the game, and you’re right, it did feel like snap in a way (which I do love, the original at least! 😂)
@@BrainsAche Don't get me wrong I'm still enjoying it but it's because I'm such a fanatic for marine life in general. Anything that has a shark in it I immediately like at least a little bit 😆
I’d have to recommend twilight princess. It’s a that’s very forgiving to new players.
Great game, was very close to adding it to my list but opted for wind waker as the non switch game as I felt it has a more friendly inviting style for newbies.
@@BrainsAche i didn’t consider art style. I actually think I find it more interesting than wind waker as much as I like skyward sword. I’m putting aside my opinion that after ocarina of time and Majora’s mask wind waker was different to look at is the best way I can put it here .
I think you need to take into account what games would be interesting for early players. I know I was not interested in playing zelda 1 when I first started.
Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it. I do feel I could have maybe given examples of similar games perhaps for each recommendation. Maybe a brief overview of each of the games too. Will definitely take this on board for next time 🙂
A Link to the Past is a bit on the tough side. I would play the Oracles series first. I'm not a fan of the first Zelda game. It doesn't hold up that well for me. WHY DID YOU NOT MENTION THE ORACLE GAMES!?
I can agree somewhat and respect your points and opinion there. 🙂 I really do like the Oracle games and was considering adding them. To me personally they always felt best played after lttp and la. Plus although they don’t need to, some newcomers may feel pressured from the idea that they might need to play both. I do appreciate your comments though 🙂
@@BrainsAche Awakening happens after the Oracle games.
@@zachtwilightwindwaker596 it does make more sense tbh with how oracle ended, but it was revised that they take place after LA some years ago now, so it’s all up in the air now! I was always a fan of the idea that the games were the same story, just told differently. Like an actual legend. Truth be told you can start anywhere to be honest, these were just my picks 🙂
@@BrainsAche I don't accept the revised timeline.
only 69 subs let me fix that
Legend! 😎
My top fave game is Arceus, which is tied with let's go Eevee and Pikachu. I like Arceus slightly more. The tie for the worst is Scarlet and Violet and bdsp
Can’t wait to see how the new legends game compares to Arceus!
#1 for me is definitely Sword & Shield .....but everyone is going to have their own personal favorites correlating to their individual play style. Part of the genius of Pokémon is that they allow each player to choose....battler, collector, completionist, or speed-runner....it's up to you.
Indeed! 🙂
I am so inloved with the NPC camera pans you did! ❤ Oh well. Subbing
Thanks for the feedback, I will definitely add some more in the next vid 🙂
Can’t wait for TTYD in the new art style. It’s gonna be great I liked TOK other than the battle system
Same here, not too long to go!
i will be testing turning off the gyroids. i should trust you, but i am just shooketh that there is actually something about this game at this point that i didnt know. tbf... i dont mess w/ the gyroids because their wiggling annoys me 😂😂 Edit: wtf i'm mad now. i haven't been playing w/ gyroids because i didnt know!! this opens up a whole new world for me now! heheeh!
Learning new things everyday! Glad you learnt something 😂
i didnt know about the birds till i replayed new leaf and it tells you on that
Big surprise when I found out 😝
How do u only have 47 subscribers when ur videos are this good
Just getting started 🙂
I agree that Pokémon LGPE is my favourite Pokémon games on Switch. As you, I'm a Gen 1:er and almost everything Let's Go does clicks with me. I don't even have an issue with the one Joy-Con controller setup, though I do think they should have allowed Pro Controller to be used for people wishing to use them.
It does make playing it kinda unique with the one joycon, in a funny way. More options would’ve been great though. 😊
Your cool
Many thanks 😎
