      @@toadwine7654Uh, yea you do. Mine literally has a valve stem cut out from the tube that was in there originally. You can use a partial valve stem to help seat the bead. Its common knowledge and lots of people use this method.

    Didn’t see any lube on that mousse. Hope that rim lock was in the right spot. That wasn’t a complete change.

    I have two shitty tire irons and when i changed my bib mousses it "only" taked 1hour per tire :D maybe i should buy rabaconda.

    If this method was consistently repeatable then surely the pros at the ISDE would change a tyre in a similar time but none of them do.

      Well, he IS an ISDE pro. Luis Oliveira from Portuguese Trophy Team. Of course, the video was a funny bet and the tire was already changed on and off for dozens of times, so it was way easier. On an actual ISDE race evening it takes Luis way longer, at least 60-90 seconds more per tire.

    He's fast, but the start timer before he starts and after he removes the irons and its closer to a munute. I have 57 seconds on mine, with no assistant

    I had to look closely, but there is a mousse in each tire. I wouldn't try for a world record time myself, good way of getting hurt by tire irons or finger pinched. Not sure saving a few minutes with the speed would help win a race, but the guy is fast, no doubt.

      They use bib mousse inserts instead of airtube. And it is already inside the tire when they mount. So there is no need for air

    that type of rim is not for tubeless, so where is the tube? and i beleive in 44 seconds if he has no assistant

      The "tube" is a Mousse Bib foam insert. There's no air in the tire, think of it as one big run flat.

      +Joelbert Ligaya There's a bib-mousse inside the tire which makes changing it even more difficult compared to tubes on tubeless tire. As you see here it is possible to change it in 44 seconds :)

      Bad news is, it won't hold air. That's like me saying I can take a shit in 10 seconds. It doesn't matter if I don't take the tie to wipe my ass.You have to include function at the end (no pun intended) You should have known.

      +Yamaha SR650 there is no need to hold the air. It has a bib-mousse which will keep the tire bead in place and makes it resistant to punctures.

      Oh, okay. Gotcha. Still, the tire/rim combination wouldn't function in practical use. No rim locks. The rim would spin in the tire. Yes, it's a good show but serves no purpose. It would be like me frying a donut with the burner off. Sure, I did it in 10 seconds but you wouldn't be able to EAT the fucker! You should have known.

      +Hugh Janus There's no need to change the valve stem if you just have a flat or otherwise damaged tire. Nothing needs done to the valve stem to change a tubeless tire, but I suppose if you were swapping out a worn out tire for a new one, you might as well spend the buck extra for a new valve stem too, but that only takes a few seconds to replace (with the right tool) too.
