Wisdom from Nischa 😮 - Believe in yourself - Invest in your education - Delegate/Automate (Integration with Grammarly) - Invest and grow your wealth with discipline - Prioritize the tasks
I am rich beyond my wildest dreams. Not in money, though. In music. I've been blessed with: 3 bands, 10 guitar students, a church family, countless friends and fans, a music collection with thousands of vinyl records, Cd's, and tapes, and an instrument collection with over a dozen guitars. I may not make a ton of money, but guitar students and gigs with the band pay all my bills. Truly, I am a rich man.
I really resonate with your second point on skimping. Was of the exact mindset where I didn't think it was at all necessary to pay money for education/coursework when most of that info is available online for free - but in order to go deeper and actually understand what you are Googling/watching it is so much easier to just pay for a course that can provide you not only the knowledge but also things like exams and homework to make sure you are actually understanding what they are teaching you. At the end of the day if it means I can truly master the things I want to be good at then I will gladly pay money for it. Education is a lifelong investment. Thanks for another great video!
As always. Thanks Nischa! Just a thought but would you cover property and what it would means to put the property in a limited company or even in a trust. Alot of people don't know that these things can help save money and most importantly on tax.
Great stuff! listening to you has changed my mood and I really like it, it makes me sit up straight and get cracking! I've been bingeing on your videos for the last couple days, theres something i realised from listening to you. I've been into 'spirituality' and the environment since i was quite young, and it has shaped my attitude toward money and finance as well. I think that there is a lot of freedom to be gained by reducing our needs and redefining wealth on our own terms, as you pointed out in another video. In fact I think that it is a far greater achievement to live with less than to accumulate more and more. In my experience it has allowed me to do a lot more with my time and live a more holistic life.
Hi Nischa, new sub here who has been binge watching your videos😅 I’m a woman in my early 30s & had to leave my job a few years ago when I became disabled. On top of struggling to come to terms with my disability, I thought I would never be able to make any money again & I quickly found out just how badly this country (england) supports disabled people. I took a chance & set up an online business last year & am now earning a decent wage that is becoming more and more passive. However I realised I had no idea how to manage my money & I kept thinking i couldn’t grow my business more because of my limitations etc. Your advice has been invaluable - I’m working on my mindset & have learnt so much about managing money. Also, on your recommendation, I bought your friend’s book “girls that invest” which is absolutely brilliant. I feel like I’m able to take charge of my finances for the first time in my life having never been taught anything about finances when I was younger - thanks for all the info ❤
thank you for the video Nischa! very useful as always. Maybe slightly off topic, but I have a question I can't figure out and was hoping you'd be able to answer: - If savings from non-savings income (e.g. salary) are put into an ISA, can any tax reliefs be claimed on that?
Hi Nischa. How do you place value on the future tax benefit and the compounding effect of an ISA account? I'm looking to buy my first home. Most of my savings are in an ISA account which I have built up over a number of years. A mortgage would be of similar length to my investment time/retirement. Let's say 25 years. What should I consider when deciding if I should take money out of an ISA to use as a deposit for a mortgage?
LUTs! I'm sure the editing course covered it so for anyone else, if you're looking for a simple boost to colour grading then getting a LUT file that works for you will help save loads of time as well as keep the colour consistent if you use the same camera and light set up
Paying for learning is definitely a struggle of mine! Loving your videos, they help a lot! Where is that specific shirt from? So hard to find a good black top.
Would love to watch a video on the different ways you’ve invested in yourself through learning and courses - I’m currently going through that at the moment!
Awesome channel Nischa. Truly authenthic and informative with actionable steps. You are the fastest subscribtion I have ever clicked on and I try to follow not more than 10 channels. Thank you.
Brill advice, I've been guilty of many of these. Interesting to hear about the garden hose theory that one should focus on one activity or goal but my critical mind think how does it work for a farmer who has a whole farm to water to grow crops 😂?
Thank you for another great video and discussion Nischa!! I always look forward to your next one and enjoy them very much. You are very attractive, intelligent and I absolutely love listening to you (may sound silly but it's a fact). Have a great week ahead NIscha! Larry, Central Valley, Ca. USA
Would be great to see a video on how to invest monthly salaries. I know you've mentioned stocks and shares before, but an actual breakdown would be great
I respect your views and generosity in creating these videos for viewers, Nischa. - your presenting style is succinct and clear. That said, I do believe TH-cam finance/life advice content is becoming increasingly toxic due a narrative being pushed that presumes we should all be striving for perfection, more money, side hustling and out doing our peers. It's too much pressure for the vast majority of people. It's one thing to have a full time job but realistically how many adults - those particularly with children, are going to find the time and cognitive energy to put into further potential income sources. Doing something like investing monthly (if not prohibited by your financial situation) into an index fund over a few decades is all most people ought to look at doing initially. Just drip feed any spare money per month into it and reep the 7-10% return annually, on average, that the stock market rewards you. That would be a good starting point for many in building long term and realistic 'wealth' in my opinion.
Thank you for the Grammarly link! I've just left the company I've worked for the past 21 years, and tomorrow i start writing my resume and applying for jobs. I'm fluent in English, however the thought of applying for a job has even got me doubting my writing skills 😅 perfect timing!
The only way to really get rich is to have a job that pay 250k+ and have no expenses. IE no fancy car, no fancy house, no debt. Not realistic. If only I could go back 35 years!!!!
What’s more important than base salary is time horizon for investing. Long asset appreciation can trounce the cost of a fancy car. A fancy house is also an asset.
I just wanted to let you know that I'm a big fan of your content and have learned a lot from it. However, it would be even more helpful for me if you would speak a bit slower. That way, I can fully absorb all the knowledge you have to offer. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to creating informative content.
Excuse me for my words but I spend the videos looking in your eyes for long time You have beautiful eyes in the Middle East we call someone like you alreem
You're brilliant and now extremely wise to boot ... the world would do well to have more of the likes of you. Still I worry that without the ignorant/passive slaves amongst us things won't work out - not everyone can/should be rich. Figure that without someone somewhere paying interest on bad debt there can be no rich individuals. Thanks for sharing your insights and wondering if everyone ( idk say over 50% ? ) thinks like you ( which is fantastic btw ) , what happens to society as we know it?
Pertaining point 2. There are a few ways to "learn" things, they are: 1. Pay for a teaching program or course as you put it, and learn it in a structured way 2. Pay for a service provider and let them do it for you 3. Trial and error yourself Most people will choose method 3, and most people don't realize this is the most expensive method.
