I love BDC, I always get a complement or two. I just bought MB Explorer inspired by Adventus, but one of my new favorites is Missoni, inspired by BDC, but may be a little creamier and last a little longer. But for a mature masculine scent I like the newer CK Eternity EDP. I like your Chanel and you get my vote for the best produced. No bad editing or blurry shots!
Bought Prada Luna Rossa Black a few months ago and it's just a very unique yet beautiful scent and not loud by any means but very addictive. 🔥

I have quite a large collection of fragrances and I get bored of them really quickly. But there's something about Terre D'Hermes. I just can't wait to wear it and I never get bored of it. If I could have one fragrance for life it would be that bad boy.

The colour of your la nuit de l'homme was same as mine 2 years ago but because i get a new bottle or 2 each wage has taken back seat but last time i used it colour had turned more darker and the smell was more stronger lasted on a shirt from morning till next morning where i could still pick up like a skin scent. It was maturing all that time lucky thing it was a 200ml bottle still have over 100ml left

Hi Monika - you're right Tom Ford's Oud Wood is everything you said and more. I wore it at a evening bash with my dinner suit and yes I got one or two ladies asking what I was wearing. I'd say the only downside is it doesn't project very far, so I'm going to try Oud Wood Intense - I was told it's very good and does project like Tuscan Leather. Nice video.
How long does it last?

But also check out Tom Ford's Oud Wood Intense that is meant to be a game changer insofar as projection and performance. And also Tuscan Leather is a beast in both areas projection and performance.

I recently went to a concert and let my date pick my scent. I took ALT Crystal No.23 (MFK BR540 clone) The Essence Vault clone of PDM Layton, Dior Sauvage, and YSL La Nuit De L’homme.
She said Sauvage reminded her of when she worked at Ulta, the Layton clone reminded her of her dad but she thought it was a good scent, she really like the BR540 clone but more for her to wear as opposed to a man.
Ultimately she choose La Nuit De L’homme, she gravitated toward it the most, happy to see it on the list !!!
When I first got into fragrances I remember blind buying CAHSEE because I saw multiple reviews hyping it up. I absolutely hated it though. The opening is nice, then the fragrance is just awful after that

Terre De Hermes is Just Pure Love at First Sniff and Something which is indeed TimeLess . You can't go wrong with it , It is the Audi BMW Merc of the Fragrance world which is always a Signature Worthy and something which I can never bored of Sniffing and Applying .

Problem with Terre D’Hermes is it smells like misery on a lot of guys skin incl mine. That “earthy orange” becomes acrid, bitter, nasty morgue like smell. Never blind buy it as there’s definitely something funky in the formulation
Same, I got a bottle years ago before knowing what it smelled like, tried it loads of times but just don't like it, I will never blind buy again, don't understand why people rate it so highly it's horrid. Misery is good way to describe it. My personal favourite is EA Stronger with you

@@slumped9677 it wasn't at that time, I've smelled about 20 different colognes since then and went on a bit of a fragrance journey. Intensely is much sweeter than the original. My current favourites are Cedrat Boise from Mancera, Prada Luna Rossa Black and le male le parfum. My Terre d'Hermes bottle is from 2013 and I've tried it on a test strip a few times this week, but I just can't take to it, I'm only 35 so I feel like the scent is just too mature, it smells like the earth on a rainy day

The only one I got complements from a woman is the stronger with you . The one I personally love is edp Chanel bleu, tdh , allurue eau sport extrême. Élixir i cannot stand it myself lol. The ysl is so weak is a joke . Ideal I need to find it but seems so expensive. Oud wood is over rated I don’t find it correct for the price point

Explorer bottle before 2021 batches are great but my new bottle don’t last 2 hours. Very weak now! CDNIM EDP is the only way to go.

2018 they were discontinued a few years after so I didn't know they were still in production in 2021

I heard it’s discontinued, at least in the US I guess. I had it for myself but sold it after 3 months. I think there are for sure better ones out there. Maybe try out One Million Lucky. It’s also a sweet scent but with a lot of freshness aswell. Basically an all year around fragrance. With a better performance than the Blue Electrique.
For what I've heard it is true that Blue Electrique has better performance and smells a little bit more modern but it isn't worth it to hunt it down now that it's discontinued. I've seen some crazy prices for a 100ml that just isn't worth it, I prefer to buy 2 bottles of the original and be done with it.
Bleu Electrique is about 95% similar to the original LDNL it's a much fresher take on the original. You get the Cardamom and the Lavender plus it smells sexy. Whenever I wore I would definitely get compliments. Plus I get 2-2.5 hours of strong projection and then about 7 hours longevity. So it's a solid fragrance.

I am not Monika, but I own or I smelt all the fragrances in this list except the Prada and the Tom Ford, and I think that the ones worth buying are Chanel Allure Homme Sport Extreme ( is my signature scent, very versatile), Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDP ( spells so good but is not as versatile, only in certain situations and a bit colder weather) and YSL La Nuit De L'homme ( is a bit sweet yet clean smelling, but again, for a bit colder weather ). Dior Homme Intense is interesting but you can pull this off in very special situations only. I wore it casually once and it made me feel uncomfortable really. Sauvage Elixir is the same synthetic crap but sweeter. Bleu de Chanel is ok, smells good but the DNA is a bit to basic imo. Armani smells nice, sweet, but is not a standout scent. Hermes, Explorer, Tom Ford, and anything that might be wood heavy you have to try to see if you like them, since this is not a pleasant smell for a "untrained nose". Not at all a mass pleasing smell. I hate them personally. You should test them out first. But the first three I mentioned are blind buy worthy, you can't hate them. :D

I have quite literally never had a compliment from montblanc explorer. I'm not a major fan of the actual smell either, don't think longevity or projection is particularly good either. I don't hate it or anything and if you like it, definitely buy it but the word I'd use to describe it is just kinda average. Nothing special, don't really get the hype.
Total opposite for me. I bought a small bottle after a lady in Boots gave out card scent strips with it on and I liked it. I got daily compliments from people who smelled it on me. From family members to people at work. Guys and women alike were asking me what I was wearing and saying I smelled gorgeous. I’ve had compliments wearing other frags, but never so dependably as with Explorer.

I own a bottle of Sauvage elixir And personally it strikes me as a creamy nut meg overdose… Anyone else feel this way? Or have any feedback and or have tried it we’re on it?
I love it, wore it today. It's a great performer and smells great. Definitely a lot of nutmeg, but also a lot of licorice and lavender to me. A couple of small sprays either side of the back and a big spray underneath the top of your shirt/t-shirt, that's enough to get you through and day smelling great 👍

Terre d Hermes is literally that reminds you of wet soil and smells fresh but slightly earthy.

I would also go for the Guerlain. Is something else, something special. Sauvage Elixir is the same old synthetic crap but sweeter. The opening gives it a little hope, but after a few mins is kinda bad even on testing paper.
