EDP is still the very best, that creamy dreamy cherry almond leather incense. Extreme is too scratchy and medicinal - I never fell for it and I tried really really hard to. EDP is the very best winter date scent I have ever smelled.
For me it's definitely the other way around though. I love edp, I really do. But to me, that plum tobacco sweet scent just killed me. Such a good fragrance... I love the extreme.

Agree 100%. On paper it is nice, but on skin, all the notes just blend in beautiful harmony and produce this super sexy cocktail. The leather also is more evident on ski which gives it this added dimension. It's a masterpiece of a fragrance

It’s ambiguous because they span different realms, they really make both designer and niche fragrances. I’m so glad you enjoy them, I definitely do as well!

As much as I love the house of Guerlain, I don't own any from this line,
nor have I sampled any of them except for Sport.
So i will certainly keep my eye out for Intense & Extreme .

Justin I bought the Extreme version a few months ago, had to order it from Europe....So worth the extra price...my god it was fantastic smelling even in the BOX lol. If you haven't smelled it you need to check out Pacific Rock Moss from Goldfield & Banks....its truly unique and a fantastic add to anyone's collection. I'd be happy to ship you a 10 mil decant of mine if you wanna put it in a video.

Very fun video. I think sport smells very similar to cologne. I haven’t done a side by side yet, but to me sport reminds me very much of cologne. What kind of car was that? Lol

Blind tests I would think tend to provide a more accurate/honest rendering.

I've been using perfume from Chanel and these past few months I got introduced to Guerlain and now I am torn between The Habit Rouge and the L'intense.

JC, my man! First off let me say I enjoy your reviews but having your gir Gracel on these reviews with you really takes these reviews up a notch. She seems like such a sweetie but to have a women's take on all these frags is something every man wants to know and see so that makes for a much more interesting take on the fragrances that you review so do yourself a favor and keep her (don't let this one go!! Lol) on as many of your review vids as you can.
Now on to Guerlain, there's one out there that's not the easiest to find and I believe it came out in 2005 but it's called Tonka Imeriale. Now I'm a hugebfan of Tonks bean frags and I will promise you that thia would be the BEST Tonka heavy fragrance you've ever tried. I will also say it's the best Tonka Bean Fragrance in the market hands down and it's a 16 year old fragrance now so that's saying something. Do yourself a favor and try to find you a decant of it but just beware, after you try it you will be looking for a full bottle of it! Yes, it is that good! Soooooo good, absolute 🔥🔥🔥. Guerlain has been around so long and when you smell a fragrance like that one then you completely understand why they've been around so long and made such a great name for themselves. Anyways just thought I would throw that one out there to you and as always keep up the great work and continue to keep your beautiful Grace on these videos with you. I have the Cologne and I'm not a fan of it. Admittedly I need to give it another try but I've been wanting to try the Extreme.
I think for me the EDT original is the best and most versatile for uk london weather
I'm literally upset whenever I see the amount of L'homme Ideal cologne I have left, knowing it's discontinued. I missed out on a 100ml a few weeks back. When it goes on sale it'd gone instantly.

The new batches either need more time to macerate or they just reformulated and weakened them. I got the Extreme shipped to me and after 10 plus sprays I had to beg people at work to smell me. Total bummer cuz it's a great scent.

I always really enjoyed the edt, then I picked up the edp and it was a bit better to me , then I got a great deal on the cologne and wow .... it’s a 1st round tko.
personally i found the original sour and reminded me of barbq sauce. the EDP is way more nuanced and smoother and way more balanced.
The only one I love and have is L’Homme ideal edp I haven’t smelled any other cause I freakin love ideal edp

The Extréme is my favourite too!
I owned the intense and while I loved the smell it had poor performance. I would not buy it again. Guerlain is still on my mind to add it on my list. I’ll probably get the Lhome ideal perfume or the extreme.
Sorry to hear that. It performs very well for me. But either way, if I had to choose between scent and perform, I much prefer that a fragrance smells great over it lasting a long time.
@@stayfreshproductions I understand your point. But I feel that is such a waste when a perfume smells great but it doesn’t last. It’s the same with TF noir extreme. I recently bought a decant of PDM Herold. Same story, great smells, poor performance. It’s nice if they can do both 😉
@@aby3773 it is definitely nice when they can do both…but if I love the scent, I can excuse bad performance! If I really want more, I can spray more. And for those of us who have more than 30 fragrances, we can afford to spray more because we’ll never finish the bottle unless we really try…and even then, you can always get another bottle if it’s not discontinued 😊
I wear l'homme ideal cool to work. I get lots of compliments. I get 11 to 12 hours of wear.
