Instead of the brain being another Vegapunk, the brain is stella himself, right? Human beings are essentially brains piloting flesh mechs. The stella body has no brain of its own. Vegapunk said his entire brain is Punk Records, not just a piece of it. So the stella body is just flesh and a wifi adapter that he controls remotely. Since he can clone and modify bodies, he could have made hundreds of adapter clones of himself that he can connect to later in the story. Since Mars rushed off and didn't destroy his brain, he can come back in a new body. I don't know actually meaning in Japanese, but the english translations I read specifically worded it that he said the recording was triggered when his "heart stopped beating" and not when he "died"

This arc was epic.
Garp captured, but also leveled an island.
Bonnie's fruit reveal, Kuma connections, and we got to see God Valley and the Rocks Pirates.
We got Gorosei reveals, lore drops like crazy, and new mysteries like sea levels rising.
We saw Law and Kidd fall, we mwt the famous Dr Vegapunk, found out about the Revolutionary Army and its origins, and saw Luffy use gear 5th in new ways.
We also got to see Don Krieg, Cricket, Doffy, Magellan, and many others from basically every arc.
But by far my favorite thing in this arc was Punks in general, cool ideas by Oda on this island we won't get to see again except flashbacks to the ancient kingdom.
13:00 If I remember correctly people already knew Dragon's name due to his role as Luffy's father was made known during the Marineford War, that is one of the reason why Delmelo Black was calling himself Dragon's son who impersonating Luffy.

Joy Boy!!! Got a theory (i dont know if other pple are thinking the same thing), it is long but stay with me:
- When the giant robot was taken down, the streaming was cutoff but the message is intact in a den-den mushi recorder inside of him. Someone could get ahold of that (maybe the Gorosei or a strawhat or a marine?)
- The goal of the “great cleansing” is for IMU to recoup all the devil fruits. Users, who cant swim, would definitely drown. The ones that dont drown, would eventually die, and the Devil fruit cycle restarts. If Imu has control of all the lands above sea level, by default he/she may possess all trees, and therefore all Devil Fruits. Eventually Imu can posess Sun God Nika’s fruit. Additionally, It goes back to what Dr. Vegapunk said, that he cant really tell if that person is evil or not. Cleansing the world from the “Devil fruits”… is it an evil thing? Or wanting to fight to keep them an evil thing?
- Koby’s observation haki is going to be a new form of future haki. He can read thoughts, and maybe he will be able to plant thoughts. For example: We have future sight haki (first got introduced with Katakuri), cancel future sight haki (Shanks) and Koby’s “fake future” sight haki. He can implant a future memory mid battle which would completely deceive the enemy, allowing him to perform a perfect hit to imobilize the enemy (he is too nice to kill people haha).

The Roger pirates did not read poneglyphs until Odin came on board. Roger heard them through "the voice of all things". 5 minimum for Laughtail. Robin has read more poneglyphs, she is the clear winner.

The last phrase of vegapunk is driving me crazy. "Among you there is mo..." The "mo" implies not a name like Monkey D. as i have seen in the comments. Either implies a characterisation of someone with the D. initial or a situation that exists "amongst" the D. family members. Also the phrase "among you" makes me think of kind of a foreign existence inside the D. family that isn't normally supposed to be there or something that is happening to some of them only. Also a possibility is "mo" would be the start of a scientific term indicating a shared genetical trait uniting them along their initial, probably embedded in their family before or over the void century. Let's not forget that vegapunk essentially is able to study DNA, and the widest known use of a sample of dna is to identify lineage

im a little confused on why the showed the don kreig pirates because Oda specifically said he had no plans to bring back Gin (many people were bugging him constantly about when Gin is coming back) and he said "Gin? oh that guy on don kriegs crew. ya he was just a random enemy pirate and i have no plan to have him return" but i guess things can change.

Hey guys, so the other day I was thinking and an ideancame to mind. We all know how Oda likes to play with words (even considering its English translation to cater to its larger public). I was thinking about the name Imu, and why he chose this name (I admit i haven't watched any theory regarding his name so i may be entirely wrong). So basically, i believe the name Imu could actually mean Im U (I am you, hahaha), and the only character who comes to mind which this could be refering to is Luffy. And what character has Luffy been compared to with endless parallels during the entire series, to the point of thinking he is some kind of reincarnation of this character? Joyboy. So basically I'm saying that Imu could be Joyboy (Luffy is Joyboy, so I am you basically means I am Joyboy). To me, it makes sense from a thematic standpoint, since it's consistent with the idea that Oda has been trying to hammer all along, that things aren't simply good and evil, and it would give a whole lot of nuance to Imu, Joyboy, and whatever happened during the Void Century. I think something that supports this theory is something which Vegapaunk says in his message some chapters ago, something along the lines of, why did Joyboy not destroy the ancient weapons, or why did he preserve them. Probably butchering it, but the main point is that, while I've heard people say that it probably means that the weapons are not only a means of destruction, but also of creation (something which I believe is very likely), I read it as Oda asking this question to the reader to make him think that maybe Joyboy isn't the hero we believe him to be and, as most characters in one piece, he's much more nuanced.
Anyways, that was the theory. Let me know what you think, and if there's anything that makes it impossible, since I've not thought of anything yet, but it is likely that I'm wrong

My favourite panel has been the band of "Vicky the Viking" hacking away at the Marines with overarched grins on their faces. There are so many references to other media in One Piece which I do miss, but not my childhood "heroes" :D. Robin will be kidnapped by buggy. Buggy is supposed to be competing with black beard and shanks for the one piece. And he has nothing. He has to catch up. The best way to do so would be taking robin and / or the poneglyph rubbings
My theory will keep luffy out of the one on one fight with Shanks and black beard and set the table for luffy vs. Black Beard later.
It would also give us a true 1v1 with mihawk and shiryu of the rain. Buggy and his crew have to Clash with black beards crew. Something has to happen to get buggy in the mix
There has to be an ace up the sleeve of vegapunk. As much as we hyped him this whole time, for us to get “a flood is coming and stuff is under the water” seems like a big letdown. The reveals so far were more for the characters than the fans. I need vegapunk to drop some nuclear codes before egghead is over.
I think it'd be funny if the backup backup messege if there is one is set to go off should the transmitter snail die just cuz it's another death based thing
My main reason for thinking the message is over is simple is that York said it was over and the narrator laments the words echoing in vain, Oda isn't Gege he isn't going to have the start of his next chapter completely contradict the ending of his last chapter. The information itself will definitely get revealed to us and key characters in another way, perhaps even during the next chapter, but I don't think the broadcast is going to resume.
Dragon starting a new broadcast isn't unbelievable but he didn't seem to know what Vegapunk was about to say about the initial D. Also his name being Monkey D. Dragon stopped being a mystery to the world during Marineford, I think.

The thing that puzzles me is Vegapunk insisted people need to set up video den den mushi, but there was no part of his speech that really needed it… maybe he didn’t get to it yet and the transmission was really cut off, but i could also imagine next chapter the video was just switching over to some other recording and the transmitter den den mushi was not in the iron giant?

I don't think that Oda had any plans for Gin after Baratie. My understanding was that Gin just told Sanji that they would meet again so the story didn't end on a sad note, but it still seemed that the implication was that he was dying from the poison.
But bringing him back won't hurt either. I imagine that Oda did so because there are still quite a few fans that remember Gin fondly.

Great video JBT, but there were a few pretty loud quick audio distortion moments here and there. I think I've heard one occasionally on your vids before but not three of them in less than half an hour. I wasn't wearing headphones but I think it might have been uncomfortable for people that were. (around 14.37 is one)
I don't think the message or the arc is over because we also need Kizaru's conclusion and I feel like that can only happen with him reflecting on his friendship with Vegapunk as the recording gives his last words

The broadcast being cutoff is to be expected, i was just disappointed with the iron giant, vegaforce one died in vain but theres still hope it does something(i got copium kizaru does something too) cuz its not looking good for the giants and half of the strawhats escaping.
If oda is faking us out with the broadcast being cutoff i can imagine the only reason he is doing so would be to expose Imu to the world and would be new info for readers for Imu being a D otherwise vegapunk warning or informing D clan members does nothing as D clan members have no clue what their initial means

I must be taking crazy pills. I'm a weekly reader since thriller bark. I love op dearly. But seeing people gas these chapters up is wild. If the vega broadcast is over I'm extremely underwhelmed. We basically learned 1 thing of interest in 7 chapters broadcasting with numerous breaks.
The only thing we learned is that the sea levels rose by 200m and that we are sinking. I have a ton of issues with this anyways because go look at how earth looks if the sea levels rose 200m there's still gonna be continents just smaller ones. For there to only be islands it's like all those islands are just like mountain peaks scattered around and none of the islands we have seem give that appearance.
Also then about 1/3 of the current sea floor (the part that was previously land) should have extremely shallow waters. Anywhere from 1-200m depending on how far above sea level they were before. You're telling me between the Fishman, coated ships and submersibles no one noticed all the underground cities.
It's also such a cope out that vega punk didn't want to implicate the world government as wrong doers either in the past or present when he has ample evidence from the Kuma situation to know they're evil. The world's full of injustice and slavery. He has to assume they're behind his death and behind what happened in lulucia etc.
How exactly does he know that the Roger pirates learned the true history. Idk I was expecting more from the world's smartest man. Not being willing to speak a bad word about the wg is just plot device

This whole arc has been Oda just laughing to himself as he makes the community exsplode into a frenzy. "OH YOU WANT TO KNOW THINGS DO YOU!?" to mimic the Joker from The Dark Knight. "AND.... HERE.... WE... GO...." That's oda this whole arc just laying a ton of cards on the table. Am I bummed the message got cut? a bit, but the arc as a whole has just been such a roller-coaster of a ride I don't know how much more I can handle.

What if Vegapunk was going to say "There is among you, Mo/nkey D Luffy, who is then reincarnation of Joyboy. Wielding the Awakened Human Human Fruit: Mythical Model Sun God Nika, he will bring the Dawn of Liberation to the world." With the / being where he was cut off.
Well, we knew that the transmission would cut off before the main juicy bit, though it still got us good!
It does look like this is the 'get out of dodge' moment for the arc, the part where we all go. But there are still a few obstacles, the Sunny is still to land on a buster call, the Giants' ships are being attacked by the stronger Vice Admirals too - Doll and Bluegrass getting some shine was good, shows there are levels to Vice Admirals too.
However, there is a small fraction of me who feels like it's not over yet. Why did Vegapunk need an image? Nothing we saw in the transmission warranted it and simply delayed the big reveal before cut off, why put the snail in a fragile mecha that stormed Marejois? Why is this called the Egghead incident? What if the transmission merely stuttered, what if the feed went off because Vegapunk spilled his Vega Coffee? Pride can indeed come before the fall.
Regardless we've been absolutely spoiled in Egghead, like remember how we thought this was a transitional arc a la Punk Hazard? I mean it still is for Elbaf and the final saga as a whole but it's also so much more, we have gotten so much from it.
The Mo- is of course the curiosity right now, if it is a Mo that is could also be an 'also'. If it's a Mo it could be many things, but one of them is pretty easy to spot: MOnkey. Luffy, Dragon, Garp, maybe Vegapunk was gonna reveal that Luffy was Nika? Since he had prepared this message ahead of time.
I don't think Robin would finish the message, being gifted the keys is the opposite of what she wanted at Sabaody with Rayleigh, she wants to discover as much as she wants to learn, and I think simply wounding her in Egghead meant that she will need time to recover - perchance in a library filled with Ohara's books and Poneglyph research in Elbaf with a giant who laughs in dereshishishi.
I think that is Gin, and I'm glad he made it out, I kinda hope we do give him a role too because he is powerful, let's not forget that he beat Sanji 1 on 1 at Baratie, I'm not saying he'll be that level but he could still be tough, a sneaky ally given his firm sense of loyalty (which is probably the only reason Krieg is still a captain). Also glad to see Cricket and the Saruyama Alliance, they're gonna go back to diving for treasures too! There might be something there, plus Smoker is back, wonder if he'll be involved in anything too, he and Tashigi (and Bogard) are in dire need of a W. Drake's alive too, and out of Wano, wonder if Hawkins also made it? Still floating question marks over Big Mom, Kaido, Hawkins, Apoo, Sentomaru, Perona, Moria, Weevil, Marco, Garp, the Grand Fleet and like, many more, but they're all threads Oda can easily pull.
Still, wonder if Kuro and Morgan will ever return, can see why Krieg wouldn't be in the Cross Guild but the other two would be interesting minor villains for Cross Guild or Fullalead for Django and Helmeppo.
What SWORD does next will be interesting though, they're braced to succeed Garp and to learn hard truths, the matter however comes from how they respond to it. Do they turn on the government? Do they go out of their way to try and establish order? Koby, Grus and Kujaku are being set up as the big three for this, there has to be something they are planning to do.
Zoro got a lot of cred back stopping V. Nusjuro, it was very needed. And theory confirmed about Shodai Kitetsu too, also loved that they essentially did a Fastball Special, it's always fun when the crew combo because it shows that they're more than just individuals, they are a squad.
Other than that, it's interesting that Zoro and Jinbe are planning to latch onto the ship as it launches, it's also surprising that Atlas and Lilith are still kicking, you'd expect only one Vegapunk to be left. Showing Vivi and Morgans surprised by the cutoff seems like something might come out of it too, if Morgans controls the press what will he do with it?
JB! it’s not just you alone here, it’s the luffy in all of us not wanting to know the end JUST YET😆 we don’t want this adventure to end yet and Oda knows this, he knows luffy, we all grew a part of luffy inside all of us lol

Vegapunk’s refusal to name the WG as bad guys is what removes any sympathy for his death for me. He’s seen firsthand what they’ve done to innocent people, such as Kuma etc. He knows how the Celestial Dragons keep slaves, how they r@ped Bonney’s mother and wiped out Ohara. Yet he still won’t at least point the finger at the Celestial Dragons? I find him interesting because he’s really not a good guy or trying to be. He wants the betterment of the world, but he’s absolutely willing to not only ignore but aid the unjust WG in developing weapons of mass destruction (pacifistas and seraphim), so long as they’re willing to fund him.
This stuff is kind of dumb. Nico Robin is right there and she has read more poneglyphs than Vegapunk. Why are we even listening to a guy who knows very little? Why is everyone expecting more answers? Most of what Vegapunk said were things we already knew. Just confirming things. I doubt he knew anything about the D. The man didn't even know how the ancient war started. People are expecting way too much.
Kizaru is useless at this point. He is just used as the "oh look an admiral". Just like during Z film, red, etc, he arrives, has a 5 second clash with no consequences.
Akainu and aokiji fight for a week, kizaru has 5 second exchanges and thats it. So im done with kizaru.
Oda just posponing so much just makes many longterm fans feel like "finally, he revealed what D means" instead of "wow look that is soo cool"

I instantly when I saw that instantly thought it was, among you there is… Monkey D. Luffy, the Sun God or Monkey D. Dragon, leader of the revolutionaries. Idk when I saw Mo the first thing I went with is Monkey D. Especially because the first face we see is Dragon, and if Dragon does finish the message like a lot of us have theorized, he could be introducing Dragon and the uprisings, or announcing Luffy is the prophecy
