- Mark Arnall has been in Formula One since 1997 starting as the fitness trainer and therapist for Mika Häkkinen. After Mika retired in 2001 Mark moved on to look after Kimi Räikkönen. He is now widely known as Kimi’s trainer.
Professionally Mark is the closest person to the driver during race weekends and between events with unique insights into the makeup of these fiercely competitive people.
In this portrait Mark shares his experiences from his life in racing in the past 17 years and talks about how to prepare drivers to perform in the optimum way.
He also covers insights into why Kimi Räikkönen, Mika Häkkinen, Sebastian Vettel are just a little more competitive than the rest of us.

Fantastic Job! I've seen all interviews so far. Looking after the next one!
That Ferrari Enzo story about Kimi and Seb was pretty awesome!
The story about Kimi, who drove the nascar for the first time, without spinning with a better lap is also pretty awesome!!! ;)
inyourface 1000 Kimi is Awesome... Period!
Really interesting first-hand observations on Mika Hakkinen and Kimi Raikkonen with insight to the world of training i knew little about in such detail, Great anecdote on Mika dealing with dumb media questions! Another top quality video; thanks Mario.
Another great one! And Mark give such incredible insights into how these guys work. Loved every second of this. A must see. Thanks, Mario.
This is fascinating. I am so glad I stumbled upon this. My friend is a huge Kimi fan and she has been losing faith in him, seeing his performance this year. I'll show this to her and hopefully, it will fuel her love and support for KImi back to life. Thanks, Mario. You don't know how huge an impact this video will have for all of us F1 fans.
Kimi is by far the most interesting driver in F1. Love him! Thanks for sharing this, Mark's a great guy
The commitment of this guy is just amazing.
Great job! Very professional production, and an incredibly interesting interview :-)
Superb job mate! Filmed beautifully and fascinating interview.
Surprised how much this video got interesting stuff. 30 min video and no repeating same things. 5/5
Please keep doing these interviews Mario :). They are really well made and offers a great insight to the different aspects of formula 1.
Amazing stuff! I've always known Mark is a great guy and that Kimi is a hard working sportsman fully focused on his job!
Mario you are a gem, THANK YOU so much for such insightful and informative videos. I just LOVE the cinematography. AWESOME work.
Great insider information about Formula 1 and also nice to how how Häkkinen prepared for the qualifying rounds in a dark room! Go Kimi!
Mark seems really cool guy. Very professional.
This was amazing, thank you for making it!
Fascinating interview, thanks Mario. I would love to see one with Frank Williams, I think that would be very interesting. I grew up living near Williams, friends at school now work there, etc. I remember our school bus breaking down outside the factory gate in 1993, some mechanics came out and fixed it, whilst I got to look at Prost's car being rebuilt after the French GP. Great times. I remember vividly the day after Senna died, our entire school was just in shock. So much that we had a special whole school assembly to talk about it, as many kids parents worked at Williams.
Great inside story by Mark. Thanks for the upload mate!
Great portrait and Mark seems to be great guy too. One thumb up from me for the video

Greeeat vide😊 😊 Some very good stories and insight. I love formula 1 😆 . Mark seems like a cool guy with a cool job 👍
For someone who does so little in terms of fans engagement, Raikkonen is really reaping a million fold dividend.

Maybe the question about his future should have been the ending segment and not team work?
