Thanks Tex Mex and cool point you found. I found one in one of my food plots about 6 months ago. I got a laugh when you were adjusting elevation for a right horizontal move. I was saying to you out loud, "You're adjusting the elevation." Looks like you immediately knew what happened after the shot. With making so many moves it can get confusing. Oh, and at 25 yards a 1 inch move is 4 clicks times 4. So a one inch move at 25 yards is 16 clicks if the clicks are equal to 1/4 inch at 100 yards. At 13 yards it was likely 20 clicks to move up an inch. Five clicks for every 1/4 inch. You probably already knew that. Thanks for the video!!
Thanks Cervus! As a kid, I used to find lots of arrowheads on ranches I would be invited to down near the border and in the northern parts of Mexico. Haven't been as lucky around the TX Hill Country, but lately I've found a few. I think the terrain makes it harder to find them. Hope you had a great weekend my Friend!
That is an interesting little pistol. Very good shooting. I enjoyed watching you sight it in. One thing that I have seen done wrong when teaching a new shooter is using too small of a target, and not knowing where all the bullets are hitting. Here you started off close up, but still shot at the center of the target incase the scope was way off of zero for this pistol. Good work. Thanks to your friend for bring it out. Now, tell us about the barbeque!
@@frankhinkle5772 Thanks for watching Frank! That night we had some ribeye steaks, venison sausage and jalapeño poppers. I also follow an old northern Mexico custom of wrapping a peeled yellow onion with some butter in aluminum foil. I throw it on the coals early. By the time I pull it out of the fire it’s nice and caramelized. Add some roasted corn, ranch style beans and baked potatoes (I do a sweet one for me). It was quite the meal. Top it off with a pecan pie my buddies wife pecan pie sent one along with him and we were in hog heaven.
@@texmexshoots What a wonderful dinner! OMG! Future video; demonstrate that caramelized onion. I NEED to know more about that. And the jalapeño poppers. NEED!
@@J0j0m10 Thanks for watching JoJo! It’s a peculiar firearm for sure. When my buddy brought it out I was a bit flummoxed. But I knew immediately I wanted to shoot it. 😄
My wife and I each have Chargers. We have AR height red dots on them for shooting off hand with a cheek weld and overhand grip. No brace. Surprising how steady they are. It is my wife's favorite gun and her main home defense firearm. They have green lasers on them to help in that role. At HD distance she can put 25 rounds into the A zone very quickly.
Thanks for watching Kfsrmn! I'm glad you figured out a way to steady it. I think I would have done much better with a shooting bag. Didn't like the bipod that much.
10"Kidd Match barrel, 3-12X PFI Rapid Reticle and Burris Signature rings with +/-20 inserts nets a lot of MOA. Took a 295 yd. prairie dog last year to win the long-range PD shoot comp. of Wy-Shot this past June.
Whats the deal with these rifle without stock/pistol kind of rifles? It looks a bit wierd to me as a European. Is it a loophole in the law kind of thing? 😄
@@johanh2496 Here in the US you can have certain receivers that are normally used for rifles, registered as pistols. Hence no stock and with a short barrel. Makes for some interesting looking firearms.
These are really neat guns if you put a brace on them, just out of pure coolness Factor. Good video brother entertaining as always
@@Valorius Thanks as always brother! A brace would have really helped in keeping her steady.

I always wondered about the Charger. Not sure what I would use it for. Thanks for the video Tex Mex.

Cool gun. I'm not sure what niche it fits in, maybe Fun Plinker.

That's amazing! Thanks for sharing SSCoyote. Kidd makes some amazing stuff. I have a couple of their trigger systems on two of my 10/22s.
Loves me some Ruger Charger 💯

@@texmexshoots a sling may help. I used one for awhile while the pistol brace ban was in effect
@@22guru Good idea using a sling. But I expect a good brace would be the best way to go.
