I ride motocross and just stumbled on this, never had an interest in downhill at all but watched it as its 30 mins down the road from me. But HOLY CRAP that’s the gnarliest thing ive ever seen in my life. Hats off, that’s serious.
Insane, was up there last week on holiday and witnessed amateur riders no where near this fast. It's incredible how different elite riders treat the course. Mindblowing.
Aside from technique, a big difference is that pros almost always do a thorough tour of the course beforehand to know exactly what’s coming at any point in it. They can go this fast because they don’t need to hesitate not knowing what exactly comes next.

WOW! What a super fast run, and man you absolutely sent those big booters at the end of the run! The crazy amount of people at the base station! Where did they all come from?? Nevis range tends to feel alive above the Snowgoose resteraunt in winter but dead at the gondola station, in summer, its almost the reverse.
