I couldn’t help but laugh at 3:43 because I relate to that. My Local Mall has a Bubble Tea shop which also sells cakes. The type of cakes they sell are Those really fluffy and soft tiger rolls, sponge cakes, Japanese cheesecakes and so on. So every time I bye one of those, or always comes in a plastic box-like package. So EVERY TIME I open one, the beautiful pattered surface of the outside of the cakes gets stuck on the lid. I have learnt to work my way around this over the years 😂
I remember the parchment sheet on top of the pound cake and the lines to show how to cut equal portioned slices. We also ate Sara Lee's frozen cheesecake which is great frozen! This looks like it'd be a great Father's Day dessert. :)
You could use strawberry syrup as "ketchup" for the fries! I think that would balance the dryness from toasting the cake. You could even mix in some chocolate syrup to make it look more like steak sauce and drizzle it on the ice cream?
With oreos you can also make oreo balls. You take crushed oreos softened cream cheese powdered sugar I believe. Mix it together and then dip them in melted chocolate
In the Philippines, they have a snack that is similar to the "crinkle cut fries." It's called mamon tostado meaning toasted mamon; Mamon is a simple buttery sponge cake and tostado translates towards toasted. Usually it's toasted all the way through, but the texture is soft and airy.
I have those exact same metal chopsticks! Also, this looks INCREDIBLY realistic! That's actually amazing... the plastic wrap is really the trick to making it look steak-like. Wow!

As an Expat kid in Saudi in the 80s we had Sara Lee chocolate cake there is nothing like it. My Mum used it as the chill block in picnic boxes, and after about 3 hours it was perfect. Great recipe Emmy
Ice Cream "That looks like something else" classic!!! 😆 This is pure GOLD!!! Thanks many Emmy!! Wish you, and your family good health! From San José, California! 😄
Confused why the word sprinkles randomly flashed on the screen 🤔 lol
Yes! I knew there would be someone else that would remember. 🙌🏼
You could use strawberry syrup as "ketchup" for the fries! I think that would balance the dryness from toasting the cake.
You could even mix in some chocolate syrup to make it look more like steak sauce and drizzle it on the ice cream?
Thank you for keeping us sane during the lockdown Emmy!
Stay safe!
With oreos you can also make oreo balls. You take crushed oreos softened cream cheese powdered sugar I believe. Mix it together and then dip them in melted chocolate
I love the Sara lee sliced in as many thin horizontal layers as possible, with cream cheese frosting in between and covering the outside!
I love this set up soooo much more than her new one.
That looked soooo yummy, I got my wife now watching your shows and she loves 'em!!
Keep doing what you do, becareful and be safe..🌹🌹😉
In the Philippines, they have a snack that is similar to the "crinkle cut fries." It's called mamon tostado meaning toasted mamon; Mamon is a simple buttery sponge cake and tostado translates towards toasted. Usually it's toasted all the way through, but the texture is soft and airy.
I have those exact same metal chopsticks!
Also, this looks INCREDIBLY realistic! That's actually amazing... the plastic wrap is really the trick to making it look steak-like. Wow!
Love it! I also prefer the videos from your own kitchen rather than the other place. You kitchen is warm and homey. The other place looks sterile, not friendly. Just a preference. The information your give is what is really important, after all. Thank you for all that you do!
Emmy’s videos are some of the only things keeping me going during quarantine
I'm enjoying these videos so much!!! The end of the 2 minute mark is hilarious.
I love the way you describe different foods!
emmys just having the time of her life during quarantine. ☺️
That dessert is such a super cute way to make ice cream and cake a special just-because occasion. And, that crinkle slicer is really neat. You have really great gadgets, such as that heavy duty spiffy lemon juicer.
That citrus juicer is a favorite with my kiddos.
@@emmymade Good food is the most important thing that we can make. Your channel is fun and very informative; thanks so much.
