Here’s a observation over many years of weight lifting, powerlifting ,basketball ,football, baseball ,etc...calf size and calf muscle and tendon attachment have an instrumental part in vertical ability . Take Chris Staples, for instance... he’s a phenomenal dunker, his calf muscles are smaller in dimension ,but are tightly compacted. This gives him a more explosive vertical exertion compared to someone with a longer muscle attachment and larger calf dimension. This being said, doesn’t include athletes who utilize performance enhancements that would increase the size and strength of the calf muscles. Jordon, Koby even Mugsy Bowes all had similar calf structure. This observation also includes people of shorter stature.i knew someone who was 5’9” who had a 46 standing vertical leap.... yes 46”... “case in point Zion Williams who is a great leaper only has a 40” vertical leap.” This gentleman I was talking about had extremely strong tight built calf structure with higher attachment points. Meaning his calf muscles were balled up tighter.

You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. You must love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus the anointed is Lord! Repent and be baptized and believe the Gospel.
