From 16:58 onwards is just lovely guitarwork. Reminds me of the old devils notes that black sabbath would play for that extra ominous feel. And the drums, my goodness matt.
this is great, thank you for uploading! I was wondering with which device you've recorded this video? all my recording from the show are un-listenable 😢😂
The thing is I’ve never heard him this good. Well at least when he was here in la. His grows were nasty. His cleans were the best I’ve ever heard him. Feels like there practicing more then they used to or just getting better.
What was wrong with the setlist? Somewhere in time trilogy went mega hard, icarus lives was epic that they played it live, marigold is a banger, wildfire into atropos is a glorious combo, fuckin reptile as well. In my opinion that’s the perfect setlist.
I saw them in march and I think they sounded just as good. Maybe you saw them before then? It’s not unthinkable that they’d have gotten a little rusty from a couple years off, but I haven’t seen any evidence of it.
Screams not sounding too good at some spots. What he does is definitely over the top and probably impossible outside the studio. But his singing sounds great. Just needs a little work on the angry goblin sounds.
Is it just me, or does Spencer sound really out of tune live? I like his studio vocals and all, but it's kind of annoying to me how no one in the comments seems to notice that.
@benbignell it's not a little off, but almost a quarter tone off. Michael Lessard of the contortionist arguably sounds better live than in the studio. I don't know why Spencer sound like that live really.
@@Vicente_Moreno yeah theres people who sound better, and people that sound a whole lot worse. If you have ever been kn stage during a performance like this you would know how loud it is, and even with in ears its extremely hard to hear your own voice. Makes it much harder to sing in pitch. Spencer still does a great job, and if you think this is that off then you are way to much of a perfectionist and will probably have trouble finding enjoyment in anything.
Because most people are conditioned to studio perfection during live shows. Touring is tiring, probably just as gruelsome as a professional sports athlete. Personally, at a show, I‘m too busy being in the moment than caring if a solo is played note per note, or if everything is 100% in tune

Dracul Gras starts at 8:19 :-)
It's a real shame Mark wasn't on this tour. RIP to his father.
so dope they're playing Dracul Gras live, what a fkn banger
Best song on the album
agreed, wasn't sure if they would or not, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the video title lol
Even without Mark being able to make it, I would've killed to be at this show. Thank you for recording!
my god spencer sounds perfect
Matt is DESTROYING that kit my god lmao
You’re a god for filming this
Man, there's something about the bridge section of Zagreus at 4:12 that's just so powerful!!!
Spencer added some vocals to the end of Zagreus. That was awesome. Should have been on the record (maybe).
yess it was cool!
Well he couldn't just sit around
sure he could@@maxalaintwo3578
Jake is human, he fucked up in both solos lol but that doesn’t take away anything, absolute legend.
it happenss, he played it off well n defo better than i could ever do hahaha!
Its all good. There’s no slowin’ the bowen!
Spencer also came back in on Zagreus when he doesn’t on the album, sounded dope tho
I think a lot of people would mess up on a dark stage like that lol. Jake's a beast.
Even with luminlays I can't imagine playing solos on a dark ass stage lol
Someone actually managed to get a recording where the kick is not distorted! Great job - on my own, it sounds like the kick was not mixed that well
12:20 Dude Spencer fucking nailed this section!
From 16:58 onwards is just lovely guitarwork. Reminds me of the old devils notes that black sabbath would play for that extra ominous feel. And the drums, my goodness matt.
Sounds amazing live😍
I was there, what a killer set! Nice video :)
it was great! :))
Thank you!

I dunno man, this is a great performance but I’ve seen periphery live twice in the last 4 years and they *crushed* it both times 🤷♂️
16:14 YESSSSSS
Brooooo whattttttt they played Dracul Gras live?!?!?
Awesome man, thanks for filming! Where the heck is Mrak in this show?
mark couldn’t be there unfortunately due to his dad’s passing :((
@@josie6030 Aww shit man, didn't catch that memo :(
I miss the P1/P2 days
Good times indeed, but to me PV is by far their best work yet.
They played Dracul Gras? Fucking epic. Tbh the rest of the set list couldve been better but stranger things and dracul gras are epic wins

@@thwoo- not even close to perfect lol are you serious? I didn't know they played icarus though.
@@HugoStiglitz88what would be perfect for you? I’m a faithful believer that any of their set lists could be perfect lmao
Probably had to change the set list with Mark not being there
@@Cosmic_42 doubt it since they kept reptile which has his solo
Zagreus's intro sound similar to Four ligths 🤔
I'm pretty sure that part around 3:00 with the pig squeal is intentionally from four lights
Spencer is SHOWING tf off especially on Dracul Gras 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Relax my man
They're finally getting the covid dust off. Band is sounding much tighter and Spencer is starting to sing more in tune. So sick to see.
Naw they sounded better than this when I saw them at their Anaheim show in march
You new here? Lmao

almost all singers are going to sound off a little live he is definitely on the better side of live singers, especially in the metal scene.
